St. Peter's Cathedral

On the way to see. Built in the 1930s, this Roman Catholic cathedral in the Art Deco style is the seat of the Archdiocese of Rabat.

Beautiful Catholic Church located in Rabat. Majestic white color and the inside has beautiful windows and decorations. Beautiful altar and big organ located in the back of the church We really enjoyed our visit. It was free to enter and enjoy.

Passed by the church by chance. Struck by the stark, almost out-of-place architecture. A relatively modern structure (1921), yet its quiet presence says so much about the layers of Morocco’s history and insisting upon the openness of its people to other faiths.

It looks outside. A very beautiful, majestic place, towering over the neighboring buildings. The inside is not as beautiful as the outside.

I was given a nice welcome by the staff here and a small leaflet in my language (English) explaining the role of the Catholic Church in present-day Morocco together with key dates in the creation of the country's Vicariates.
