##update 2022# There's an interesting display of vintage football stickers featuring Ireland and Italy here until 7th December 2022. Worth a look ##2019## t's a very nice space, but the acoustics are really bad when there is an event with a full house. Also the lady manager on duty they night I was there, was rude and condescending when we were leaving - on time. No cheery good humour or Happy Christmas from her. There are other venues - seek them out before you book St Peters

An amazing walk around the Cork history, with a sensitive exposition of photos and witness speech about the Irish fight for independence. While you learn about the tragic history from cork you can enjoy a delicious coffee.

St. Peters is a beautiful venue, hidden in the middle of Cork city. The regular markets and events here are always worth a visit and the cafe is wonderful, with excellent staff. Always worth a quick stop, you may stay longer than you intended!

This hide church in the middle of the city, it's great for increase your knowledge. They have different expositions and it's free! As a moccha lover, I need to say it's not your place, but they have other options and some bites. For a cosy meeting with a friend and a cuppa I'll recommended :)

My group had a really disappointing experience recently. I work as a community worker on the north side of the Cork and had arranged over the phone to bring a group of 15 elderly people to see an exhibition advertised to be on until 31st December 2024. I had let the venue know we would be coming and had asked about lifts, access etc. All was hunky dory over the phone. When we got there on the monday morning, we were told by the staff member I had spoken to on the phone the week before that the exhibition had been taken down at short notice because of Culture Night. I had people aged 65 to 83yrs with me, yet the staff member in charge offered no apology, nor were we offered to sit down to catch our breath or encouraged to stay for a cup of tea or offered any help in finding another exhibition or thing of interest close by. The staff member in charge claimed I had got my dates mixed up and showed no people's skills nor kindness. A few days later I requested contact with a manager through the website 'contact us' section. It's been 11 days and I haven't received a call or an email. A missed opportunity to connect and restore confidence. I won't be bringing groups to St Peter Church in future nor promote its activities in my own circles.

Yelp
I came across this little spot while wandering Cork today. They were closed today so I didn't get to go inside but I did hang out outside for a bit. It was nice to take a load off and just relax even if it was loud by the street. The building is a deconsecrated church-turned-cafe with a little patio out front with seating. Since I didn't get to go inside there's not much to say, but I did appreciate the architecture.
