13 of the Most Expensive Hotels in the World

"With just 25 accommodations, the St. Regis Residence Club, Aspen combines the convenience of renting your own mountain lodge with the high-end amenities of a luxury hotel. Each residence has two or three bedrooms, plus a fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace. But guests also have turn-down service, 24-hour in-room dining, and even a free airport shuttle — not to mention access to all of the amenities at the mountain-glam St. Regis, Aspen, including the Remède Spa, après-ski at the Mountain Social Bar & Lounge, and the Chefs Club, a restaurant with 20 dishes by 20 celebrity chefs, from Eric Ripert to Marcus Samuelsson. Though the hotel is open year-round, it's a winter favorite given its location two blocks from the base of the mountain." - Travel + Leisure Editors

Do not stay here if you would like some basic guarantees that your personal belongings are safe. Cash was stolen out of an envelope in my bag that I did not once remove from the room throughout my week-long stay. The customer service response has basically been, "Well no one fessed up, so you're on your own! Should've used the safety deposit box!" No reimbursement, no offering of credits, etc. It was easy to tell that the cash was taken, because I had just received it upon landing in Aspen. But who knows what else might be missing from my belongings! No assurance at all; utterly shameful customer care.

From the moment we arrived, our stay at the St. Regis Aspen has been nothing short of spectacular. The property itself is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious and comfortable, and the staff has been attentive to every request — even bringing multiple humidifiers to make our room perfectly comfortable in the dry mountain air. But the true highlight of our trip has been our time at the pool, thanks entirely to one of the wait staff, Satya. From the first moment we met him, Satya made us feel genuinely welcomed. He greeted us with the biggest smile, remembered our names between days, and consistently went above and beyond to make our experience special. He noticed the little things — like when we were struggling with a water bottle, he immediately came over with ice and assistance, without us even needing to ask. Every interaction with him was filled with joy and kindness, and it elevated our entire stay. It’s rare, even at five-star resorts, to encounter service as thoughtful, proactive, and heartfelt as what Satya provides. He embodies the true spirit of hospitality and made our visit unforgettable. He is the kind of team member who sets the gold standard for service, and I hope he receives every bit of recognition he deserves — including a raise. Thank you, St. Regis Aspen, for an incredible stay, and an especially heartfelt thank you to Satya for making it extraordinary. We will absolutely return, and we will be looking forward to seeing him again.

From the moment we woke up craving excellence, the St. Regis Aspen delivered beyond our expectations. Breakfast at the hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to impeccable service and a truly unforgettable dining experience. Our server, Ardi, went above and beyond to make our morning special. We ordered off-menu items, including steak and eggs, and were blown away—the steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and the specialty poached eggs were exquisite. To elevate our meal even further, we ordered a bottle of wine, and to our surprise, they even had my favorite flowers available. Talk about attention to detail! Thank you, St. Regis, for an unparalleled experience. The quality, service, and atmosphere are simply unmatched in Aspen. We can’t wait to return!

Yelp
I went to the spa at St. Regis and Abril was so amazingly sweet and caring. She truly made my spa experience outstanding and memorable. She order me tea and cookies while I was in the co-ed pool with my husband. She treated us so well. I will always remember her smile.

Yelp
Wonderful stay over thanksgiving - hotel has a great vibe and amazing holiday feel to it. Rika at the valet buck restaurant was top notch. Originally from Bali, he brought his superb Balinese hospitality to Aspen. Mountain social bar and lounge was always great to hangout and Michael with his superb service made the experience even better. Highly recommended to stay in Aspen !!

Yelp
Great spot, warm and personal service. Hotel food is meh but service is on point. Small'ish pool but rooms are great and comfortable beds and large towels.

Yelp
I am so done with Marriott Bonvoy properties. We returned from dinner to discover a gas leak in our room. While we were able to switch rooms, no one offered to help us move. An acknowledgement for the inconvenience would have been gracious. Adding insult to injury, we received an after-checkout charge for the Honor Bar - which we did not use. This property is too expensive to deliver this level of service.

Yelp
The first time I stayed at this hotel was in February 2021 and it was an absolutely magical stay. We were still in the pandemic when much of the world didn't return to travel yet, so the hotel was low capacity and each individual guest got quite a bit of attention. The experience with the staff was excellent. You could tell they were local Coloradans: professional, polite, knowledgable and experienced. I felt really well cared for and there were a lot of personal touches during my stay that made it great. This initial impression of the property is what has had me coming back over and over again in the past 3 years, trying to recreate that first experience which was enjoyable and memorable. However as time has passed, my experiences here have gotten less enjoyable and almost every visit since then has been riddled with problems. 90% of the issues I've experienced during my subsequent stays here are staff related. The staff here are young and not trained well. Many are foreigners with which we've encountered language barriers, especially when ordering room service. I checked in this time with Titanium Elite status. The woman who checked me in although polite was lacking in confidence and ability. She didn't make much eye contact and seemed only capable of doing a basic check-in. Anything beyond this she needed to ask for repeated help from someone in the back room. I wasn't offered an upgrade or even a glass of champagne as a welcome. There was an error on my bill upon check-out, and again a young man at the front desk was unable to assist me and had to ask a manager in the back for help. They sent me on my way before resolving the issue. The staff here are not empowered to help guests in any truly meaningful way. Any educated, well-to-do person coming in here can see that Marriott seems to be utilizing cheap, foreign labor whilst charging exorbitant prices for their rooms. This is not the staff's fault, more of a management/corporate culture issue, but one that doesn't go unnoticed by the well-traveled guests this property attracts...many of whom end up incredibly disappointed by this hotel. The other 10% of the issues I've had during my stays here are issues with the room: heating/cooling issues, drains that don't drain properly, and bedding that is scratchy and too hot. I often need to sleep with my window open so as not to overheat under the covers. This time I had the lovely smell of weed infiltrating my room each night. All this for $1900/night?? I digress. Will I return to this property? I will. I love the location and ambiance. But I always know to never set my expectations too high.

Yelp
If I could give six stars, I would! First and foremost, I need to highlight the exceptional work, receptiveness, diligence, sincerity & overall professionalism, the concierge team provided me and my partner during this momentous and unforgettable trip. I elected to celebrate my 40th birthday coinciding with proposing to my partner of over eight years. With the help of this exceptional concierge team, literally every single detail went off as planned. I will without a doubt never forget that special day, and I am eternally grateful for the help and support of the St. Regis concierge staff. Additionally, I'd like to highlight Max Levy specifically. This gentleman went Over and beyond what I would consider his "daily duties". Max , thank you. The hotels, Valet, Food service & support staff greeted me and my partner with a friendly smile And hello every time I entered, or exited the property, to include "Kitty" The new improvements at the spa were exceptional, and the service me and my partner received was exceptional. Personally, I couldn't have been happier with the time spent at this lovey hotel.

Yelp
A sign for wearing a mandatory mask was everywhere but so many people were not wearing it nor were the staff enforcing it that we had to get out of the elevators a few times to avoid the non-mask wearers. Many non-skiers with pets wearing a designer clothes ( just to intimidate ski lovers like us) hanging out in the lobby talking on the phones loudly or chatting with each other was so distasteful. Why staying at a 5-star hotel if not for skiing, I wondered. Over priced drinks & mediocre buffet breakfast were the main reasons for the low rating but the great staff& friendly ski resort related services were four star-worthy. We much preferred the Four Season hotel in Jackson Hole. If we ever come back to Aspen, we won't stay here for sure.

Yelp
Beautiful property very nice staff everything so far is great except the service in breakfast restaurant is insanely slow. Waiting 45 minutes for food and 25 minutes to get a check this definitely can be improved

Yelp
Amazing hotel with amazing service. We called the valet who picked us up nearby and brought us to the hotel. We also used the complimentary shuttle to get to the airport. They accommodated a 12PM check in AND upgraded us to a mountain view room with our Gold status. The Snow Lodge is delicious and all the staff are so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We also utilized their BMW test drive/house car to drive around Aspen which was a wonderful perk. Room service presentation was the best I've ever seen. The lobby has amazing energy and feels like the hub of aspen.

Yelp
We had a wonderful time at the Champagne Sabrage experience here. We arrived early and had a delicious drink at the bar and were impressed with the ambience, staff, and cocktails. They offer Sabrage at 5:15 pm daily at the hotel. We were given a brief history and then a member of the staff used a sword to open the champagne and we each got a glass to enjoy. Beautiful hotel and fun experience!

Yelp
I visited the lounge at the St. Regis Hotel Aspen last week and was very much embarrassed. My companion, a ski instructor in the Aspen-Snowmass Ski School for more than fifty years, and a true legend in Aspen, wanted to have a drink at the bar next door. I suggested going to the St. Regis Hotel because I thought it would be nicer. I have been coming to Aspen since 1963. At the time of ordering drinks, our waitress insisted on me presenting a credit card. I asked her to confirm that she wanted a credit card even before delivering the drinks; she confirmed. I found out the next morning that two women friends had visited the same lounge on the same evening had ordered drinks and were not asked for a credit card when ordering. That clearly appears to be a case of discrimination. I talked to the lounge manager yesterday and she was not at all apologetic. She told me that that was a hotel-wide policy. If that is so, why weren't my friends asked for a credit card when ordering? I had planned on coming to your hotel for dinner next week; however, I am so turned off that I will dine elsewhere.

Yelp
What a beautiful experience staying at this hotel! As an ambassador with Marriott I was upgraded to the Mountain View with walk out patio! There are only 5 rooms like this so book early. All rooms include a humidifier so definitely turn it on as it gets very dry in Aspen. If you're in need of oxygen room service will bring a machine to your room for $125 a day or stop by the spa gift shop for a portable can for $20. As ambassadors we were invited to a private mixer with tequila tastings, wine and heavy apps! Highly recommend attending. We were also given the use of a microwave in our room so we could heat up our leftovers at no charge. The amazing amenities include a champagne toast at 4:45, a Bloody Mary tasting and s'mores by fire. I highly recommend taking advantage of these free offerings. And if you're in need of a lift then the valet will drive you to wherever you please. Overall- excellent experience and we look forward to staying at this amazing place again.

Yelp
We have now stayed here 3 times and each time is better than the last. The rooms are always stellar but this our upgrade certs cleared and we found ourselves in an amazing 1BR suite. The breakfast buffet at Velvet Buck is a great way to start your ski day, and ski valets are happy to store your skis at the end of the day. The valets will take you anywhere in town in the hotel SUV - you can also call them for a return ride but we typically like to walk home after dinner. My only qualm is the number of guests with ill-behaved dogs who romp around the lobby and bark when left in rooms. They should relegate them to the siberia wing across the street.

Yelp
My Favorite place in Aspen!!! The St. Regis is at the bottom of the hill from my friends condo so we stopped several times throughout our trip. Every time we walked in they treated us like Royalty! They have us little hors d'oeuvres to snack on while we ordered drinks and then our meals. Everything I ordered was amazing! The cheese pizza was my favorite! They also have a nice wine selection! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunn showed me that staying in Aspen needs to be high-end AF. Aspen...where the beer flows like wine... This hotel is for the wealthy. Like, old-school money...straight-up 1%'s. Redic lodge interior with sick areas to chill, eat and drink. Massive spa, gym, pool, hot tubs, outdoor fire pits...need I say more? At $1500-$3000/night...fukn baller status. If you don't mind the uppity b*tches with their little dogs...stay here. Oh yeah, lots of dogs stay here with uppity b*tches. Lots of dogs. The staff are affable individuals. The room was huge, and except for the flies on the window that greeted us upon arrival, was perfect. I may be back.

Yelp
Don't let the pictures scare you. Only a few of those items stayed in the hallway more than 4 hours. What might scare you is the small size of the room. We were there for a weekend and covered every square inch with our clothes. The closet is tiny. No iron or board in they room. Ample drawer space. There is a double sink in the bathroom that we had. The amenities were fine. They did not replenish them during our stay which probably saved me some unnecessary calories. The French press coffee showed up quick when you called in the morning and it was free--along with your choice of newspaper---WSJ or NYT which I loved. The adorable St. Bernard in the lobby, kitty, is a nice touch. It really is a gorgeous setting. The pool beautiful. The signature Bloody Mary was great. The people were pretty friendly the service acceptable. I just don't think they have enough help to provide the level of service that is expected with the price they charge. If you choose not to stay there I don't think they will care, tbh. Someone else will

Yelp
Stopped by for a cocktail at the hotel bar and was lucky to meet Octavias the bartender! He is extremely passionate about his knowledge behind cocktails and is an incredible bartender. I brought my friends back for a second night because he created an amazing bar experience! Will 100000% be returning soon to visit Octavia's by the bar

Yelp
St Regis Aspen has come back strong after the recession. You can't walk 30 yards without someone asking if they can help you with anything and wishing you a good day. Facilities are plush and clean. First class all around. But was disappointed that authentic Chefs Club was not available in the summer and a 10 course omakase pop up was temporarily in its place. Never saw more than 3 customers there in evening. Entire city of Aspen is still trying to get the restaurant business back on track and St Regis is there too but making good strides. The Mountain Lounge off the lobby is great w food and drinks and live music. . Gotta try their famous bloody Mary's.

Wang J.

Yelp
Great views and beautiful brunch with nice music. All my family enjoyed food. Meat was amazing and lobster was fresh and great taste. Fully enjoyed.

Richard R.

Yelp
Stayed here for two nights in July 2024. Good breakfast from restaurant in hotel. Otherwise was very disappointing. AC in room didn't work. After a hot, uncomfortable night, maintenance tried twice to fix it and finally discovered that the air filter in the room was BLACK with dirt. Hallways appeared dirty with debris. The very expensive dinner was a bad joke. Cold potatoes, mediocre fish, "specialty" dessert was pudding in crackers (seriously). Outdoor fireplace with s'mores filled the outdoor dining area with wood smoke and hosted a couple of feral children who were jousting with the sharp marshmallow skewers. Front desk staff have minimal grasp of English. Self-serve, basic coffee available in morning in the bar. We had to interrupt the staff from talking with each other to get the container refilled. Also, I will never understand why housekeepers can't get hair out of a bathtub. Two attendants outside main doors never opened the door for us when we had dogs, packages etc upon entering hotel. I know that sounds elitist...but it's supposed to be 5 star and at $1500 per night, one would hope for a higher level of service. No one appeared to bring their A game to service, food, housekeeping. All of this is of course the responsibility of management. However, the chlorophyll water available in lobby was nice.

J D.

Yelp
Very hilariously stingy with the champagne at the nightly toast for a $3k/night hotel clearly trying to limit bottles opened if you're late like 5:15 they let you know you're late but they'll make an exception and give you a taste lol

Janelle S.

Yelp
We are here for the food and wine fest and our 2K a night room air conditioner is broken. The service guy says he is getting these complaints everywhere and they are aware but will be upgrading next year. Why charge 2 K or be open if you can't air condition the room. We may as well be at a motel! Marriott should be ashamed to put this in the same class as all the other St. Regis. This is the tiny fan I was given !
google avatar

Sandeep S.

Yelp
Spa experience was quite amazing and completely got spoiled by the staff. Facility is super nice and felt relaxed the entire time.

Devilla S.

Yelp
CONTRACTORS AND JOB SEEKERS BEWARE! They become extremely confused when you actually expect your wage and have discovered the J-1 program because it is easier to give someone the run around regarding missing wages when a person can not advocate for themself with English as a second language. Accounting is impossible to reach reflects the gravity of issues not only employees/contractors have but guests seem to have as well when payment Is questionable.
google avatar

Nikki H.

Yelp
My husband and I chose the St. Regis Aspen for our elopement. My husband is a Marriott Ambassador, the highest level loyalty member and our service was ABYSMAL. They refused to honor a long requested upgrade and offered a double room to a man who is 6'8. Friends had gifts delivered to the hotel that we never received and the staff was unapologetic. The air conditioning also did not work well as I see has been an issue for others. In short, we would have probably gotten better service at a Courtyard Marriott. This is not a luxury hotel with premier service.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
I would give this zero stars if I could. We just stopped for lunch. We were the only people there. We ordered. After 30 minutes asked where the food was. "Coming" Asked again after 15 minutes "Coming" And again "Coming" And again. Then: "There was a problem with the kitchen" The problem was...they never got our order and blamed the "IT system". The manager came to "apologize" but we had to go and he offered us fresh fruit or a granola bar for the trouble. Sorry, that doesn't cut it for a 5 star hotel. This place sucks. I am never going back. My kids are hangry and we missed our afternoon activity. I am so angry at this place and yes, writing this review while also hangry.

Yelp
This should have been the trip of a lifetime. I've never been able to travel like this before. My friend and I were coming to Aspen to see our favorite band for New Year's Eve. I bought $700 worth of Marriott points and we stayed 20 miles out of town our first night (for $640) so that I could use all 120,000 of my Marriott points on this $3,600 room. The check-in and room were great to start. I noticed the room was warm at 74, and when I tried to cool it down, it went up to 82. I shut it off and we headed out for the night. On the way out, I stopped at the front desk and asked them to send someone to set it at 70. Now it's NYE, so we don't get back until late. As soon as I opened the door, I felt a heatwave. I said, "we can't go in there. " We went in and it was 99. The thermostat only does double digits, but we were sure it was hotter. We went down to the front desk, but the staff was pulled thin from the hotel's NYE festivities. He sent engineering to look at the device. The engineer was not an engineer and he couldn't fix it. I asked for another room. He said there was no other room. He apologetically told us to turn it off and sleep with the windows cracked. It was 29 outside. I did not sleep one wink. The heat and outside noise were so bad. I had the worst leg cramp of my life (probably due to heat and dehydration). The front desk and the engineer could have been more helpful. They could have brought in fans. It was miserable. As we checked out, I almost broke down in tears with Katelyn at the front desk because I was so tired. She offered me 15,000 Marriott points. Now, I'm sure this is not normal practices, but the employees at this resort did not rally during what was an emergency for me. I will never have the opportunity to stay at this resort again, and I had been so excited about this trip. St. Regis and Marriott did not ask for my review. A week later, and I'm still upset about this.

Yelp
This is the message I sent to the hotel manager which was not responded to. The only reason for two stars as opposed to one is the location. Otherwise the hotel is terrible. It should be considered a 3 start hotel not a 5 star. Service is terrible. Concierge sent us to a closed ice skating ring on a bus with two little kids. Room service takes forever and isn't any good. Hi Heather I am currently staying in rooms 341&343. Upon our arrival we noticed the sewage smell throughout the lobby. When we told the front desk they acted supposed and said they would look into it but it has persisted for days. I was told by other members of staff that it's an ongoing issue at the hotel. We were also put in a room directly adjacent to a room under construction. Needless to say the noise is a nuisance and also makes us worried about possible toxins in the air. I was biting my tongue on all of this until myself and my 7 year old son were confronted by security while drinking hot coco in the hot tub. He demanded we provide proof of staying in the hotel and mentioned there is a a security problem with teenagers in the hotel. I'm not sure what this has to do with me. I then asked him to ask everyone else outside for proof of staying in the hotel. He did not. Why are we being targeted and profiled by your security? Not the way I would expect to be treated at a St Regis hotel.

Lisa G.

Yelp
I want to thank the entire staff of this fine property for their hospitality, generosity and professionalism. specifically Liz and Whit. The butler and concierge service outstanding they really went above and beyond making our stay perfect. beautiful resort and top notch service!
google avatar

Anjula B.

Yelp
Worst service and rooms. For 2 nights had weed fumes through the room all night. Complained everyday. Finally they offered a room exchange and then told me 10 Minutes after that the room is now unavailable - the front desk person lied and said he didn't have my number when I gave it to him to respond back to me on my complains. just really disappointing and lack of customer care.
google avatar

Rob R.

Yelp
This hotel that I would never go back to. May be one of the worst services ever and they simply don't care. It's hard for me to stay explaining. Please avoid this place. people who work here are nice but horrible management, these people are not trained. Yesterday took me 20 minutes to get someone say hi to me in a bar with only 6 other people in. Took over one hour to get a pizza. I hope someone read this and do something.

Yelp
Maybe it was all the champagne but staying at The St. Regis in Aspen was one of the most special experiences of my life. My husband and I chose to have a lil mini honeymoon in Aspen after getting married in Telluride. We were looking for a romantic and relaxing trip filled with great food and views-we got exactly what we wanted and beyond! We loved our time at the resort, including massages at Remede Spa, fabulous drinks at the bar and the luxurious in room tub and robes. The entire staff delivered world class service, I felt like the most important person in the world during my stay. They even sent up a bowl of wasabi peas (that are served in the bar) to our room after we decided we were utterly obsessed with them. I am so looking forward to a time we can return to this magical place. From the bottom of our hearts we want to say thank you to the The St. Regis, Aspen.

Yelp
If you want comfort by s'mores and the best banana bread I've ever had... this is a must stop!

Ms. R.

Yelp
5 stars for the valet at St. Regis Aspen! They are amazing! They are friendly and quick to get our car. We have also used their car services each and every night to and from local dinners. We never needed a reservation. Each time we had a car in less than 10 minutes! Incredible! So many names to remember as each and everyone was awesome. Some names that come to mind are Johan and Jason from Maine, Olah, and Ed! Stay fabulous guys....until next time! Happy Holidays!
google avatar

Tom S.

Yelp
Valet service is worst I've ever experienced. Aside from extremely slow service, the rudeness of the valet team was unbelievable. If I was at some dive bar I would have had better service. When asked for help, all they could do was read back some boiler plate message. If my team treated our customers this was, I'm not sure we'd still be in business. But, being it's aspen maybe patron's expect poor service

Yelp
What an exceptionally average experience. We went to Mountain Social last night for cocktails and a crab dip that the resort had literally just posted on their Instagram. Spoiler alert- they have no crab dip right now, so clearly their social media team/agency just posts random content to look good. The bar was loud and decorated like a nice Marriott with a slightly better interior design budget than normal. It certainly wasn't #liveequisit vibes. More like #wedonttry. The real problem was my $18 old fashion, which came with a large scoop of ice compared to the traditional large ice blocks or spheres that bourbon is served with, to prevent rapid melting and watering down of the drink. I thought I got to live exquisite? Not live in a cheap dive bar. I asked the waiter and he informed me that they did in fact have the right ice. Why did I not get it the first time then? Our meat and cheese board was extraordinary cheap in quality. We didn't even get an explanation as to what everything was. For $30, you'd expect to know what you are eating. I've never felt like my business was so taken for granted as it was here. First St. Regis experience and probably the last. Stay at a Ritz.

J H.

Yelp
They literally have tens of employees loitering around and no help whatsoever. Reactive, slow and indifferent. Sad actually.

Yelp
This hotel offer the best New Year's Eve party in town. They were so generous to the locals and tourists. You know during the New Year's Eve, most of the restaurants and nightclubs in Aspen charge so much $$$+ for party. St. Regis Aspen offered free entry party and complimentary of cane champagne, beautiful decor, super fun DJ with excellent music choices. You can see midnight fireworks from the courtyard with a decor of whimsical Christmas tree, you can sit around the fire pit, free sparklers for kids and adults. We used to come here and hangout at the lobby had a glass of wine and listen the live music played by the local musicians. This hotel is always pleasant to hangout at the lobby and checking on people latest winter fashion. Fun...fun..thank you St. Regis, we will definitely comeback next New Year's Eve.

Yelp
My husband booked the St. Regis for Valentine's Day and this hotel was absolutely beautiful. It's very nice the staff was amazing, they remembered our names even though we were there for a short 3 day stay. Check in/out was very fast and easy, valet was fast and the best part was to meet Kitty the house dog. The room had a beautiful view of the mountain and was very clean. They had a very cool champagne toast with a story to go with it as a special even for the guests for valentines d I enjoyed my stay and I will definitely be back the next time I visit Aspen.

Joan B.

Yelp
We stayed here for our anniversary and from the moment we made our reservation we experienced 5 star service. When we checked in they had upgraded us to a luxurious suite. The concierge handled our dinner reservations and they had chilled champagne on arrival. The only slightly odd moment was when our waitress introduced herself, said she would take care of us this evening , took our order and then told us she was going on break. Fortunately the back up staff took care of us and she returned in time to bring us the check. It felt strange as I have never had that happen in a restaurant. I hope she shared the tip!

Yelp
I just loved this hotel. Location is great. Service was great. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Dining options were also excellent. You can easily walk throughout Aspen from here to any restaurant/shop. The base of the mountain is in walking distance, but they also have a shuttle service to take you over there if you don't feel like carrying your gear on the walk. I didn't see a way to get back on the shuttle service, however. The shuttle service will take you anywhere within Aspen. We had them take us to 2 of the lift areas on Aspen mountain. They also have a promotion with Lexus where you can take a car out for the day at no cost. Note, however, that this is only 1 car per room per visit, not per person. We were unaware of that and were able to book a car a second time, since my husband drove the 1st car and I wanted to try driving one as well (only the person signed up is allowed to drive the car). We had a perfect experience up until this point when 1 member of the valet team tried to give us a hard time as we were about to get into the car. Not the most appropriate time to bring that up, we were kind of surprised as service had overall been so great. I'm not going to knock a star for this, though. The manager was there and took care of the situation. Just shows how well managed the hotel is. The lounge was lively and comfortable and they had live music in the evenings. Atmosphere was very nice here. The food, drinks, and service are also very good. The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. I definitely plan on coming back here.

Yelp
We had literally the perfect experience yesterday. After a long day of running around and back and forth, all we wanted to do was to relax with the some good food and great service and watch the rest of the playoff game. Our team of Leslie, Dalise & Rosario we're literally perfect in their attention, hospitality and grace. They made out experience so memorable. Thank you.

Yelp
Totally overrated. The staff is young, inexperienced and not service oriented. Their claim to be animal friendly is nonsense. They won't even let dogs sit in the lobby. It felt more like a low end Marriott than a high end property.

Yelp
You will pay a lot of money for a good hotel. Service is good. Food excellent. Second day no hot water in the rooms. It's now 10 pm - no hot water - no solutions I called 3 times no solutions - no offer to adjust bill or in any way compensate. Nothing like a 20 mile bike ride coming back to cold showed

Yelp
We stopped in the bar for a drink to celebrate my friends 60th birthday. We had 4 drinks that totaled $70 which was fine, but the server charged us $700, and the next day we called to speak to manager to get a $630 refund back on our card. The manager nor anyone at St Regis would call us back to settle the situation. We had the proof with the receipt as well as it showing the total of $700 vs $70 mistake. We had to actually get the bank to stop payment via the fraud service they have. It is really a shame that no one at the hotel or hotel bar thought that handling this mistake would be beneficial to their so called "great service". We will never come back to St Regis and we will tell everyone we know what happened.

Yelp
Fantastic location, resort and service. Stayed 5 nights and felt like home. Lobby bar has ski lodge type feel, enjoyed the live music and drinks after skiing. Next to the transit center for convenient bus to Snowmass or the other ski mountains. Obviously it's an expensive room rate during ski season but worth it to us, Aspen is an expensive town where ever you stay.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about this property. I travel every week for work and attend conferences and events at luxury properties on a regular basis. This is one of the few resorts that delivered 5 diamond customer service the entire trip, from all aspects. They had two weddings during the 6 days we were here and you usually can tell when large functions are happening because the service drops to accommodate these. Not at this resort. The aesthetics of the property are wonderful, the staff and concierge did everything they could to make this a fantastic vacation and continuously delivered above expectations. I recommend the spa and make sure you leave time to try out the hot/cold pool as well as the heated waterfalls. If you're feeling the altitude, carve out 30 minutes for their oxygen room and enjoy down beds and cozy blankets while your body resets. Whether you're hosting a special occasion (the weddings they set up looked gorgeous), on vacation or just need a quick weekend escape and need to be pampered, I HIGHLY recommend this property. And make sure you ask for treats to give Kitty...the resident Bernese Mountain Dog who is one of the trip highlights!

Yelp
The St Regis lives up to its reputation. It is grand, luxuriou and comfortable. There are stunning bronzes to admire. The public spaces and rooms are luxurious. For a summer vacation to Aspen the pool is a little disappointing- a fountainor some some flowing water out there might help. Except perhaps at breakfast where service can be a bit spotty, the staff are friendly and attentive without ever hovering.
