"If you've developed a taste for the flavors of the Caribbean during your cruise, stop at this small spice shop to take some home with you. It's hard to miss, since it's located upstairs fromthe ferry dock. The owners hand-mix most of their signature spice blends. The top seller, Cruz Bay Grill Rub, is a potent dry rub that combinesnutmeg, cinnamon, fennel and other spices. The shop also sells island-made candles, rum balls and hot sauces—but watch out for the one made with searing Scotch bonnet chili peppers, a favorite in the Caribbean."

20250531 My friend brought back some of the Caribbean Breeze herbal tea from this shop in St John. I just made my first cup. The herbal tea smells so good in the teaspoon. The dried citrus peel has such a nice aroma. While sipping the tea, I inhale the aroma of the citrus peel in every sip. The herbal tea also tastes so nice; I can taste the citrus peel in every sip. There are so many ingredients in this tea. I looks like it has some berry pieces (cherry, cranberry, blueberry?) And maybe lavender? The combination of ingredients is a perfect balance.

Cool little shop. Tons of spices. Then your regular gift shop items. Had a nice selection of hit sauces!! If you like mustard I highly recommend getting the Baron West Indian Hot Sauce. Amazing with a good heat level.

I adore this little shop! If you have ever been to a bazaar in the middle east, you will be reminded of that by the wonderful array of fragrant spices as you walk it. The variety of locally sourced items is wonderful! I am particularly drawn to their moringa soap. The owner is meticulous in her selections, I've lived in key west and I'd say their hot sauce selection rivals Peppers of Key West in variety and cost. Unfortunately, a review was posted that accused the shop of some sort of discriminatory behaviour. Nothing could be farther from the truth. While it is true a man came in and interrupted everyone to buy four bottles of water, I was in line and saw the distress his questioning of price and other boorish comments were affecting the lovely lady just trying to cash me out. I admonished him and instructed him to apologize to the two lovely ladies standing behind me in line. Unfortunately this was left out of the review. Also I might add the condescending attitude of the lady who wanted special satchels made was just that, rude and unwarranted. I tried to defuse the situation by inquiring where she was from and learned Louisiana has some of the best tea. I also pointed out products to her that I love in the store. I don't agree with review left by this latest reviewer, it certainly leaves out other truths from the encounter. Rude is no race based, rude is just rude, Waterman was wrong and he was shamed into apologizing to those two lovely ladies, but they too, showed disdain and disrespect.

My friend gave me some Cruze Bay Gille Rub from St John Spice Co and I came all the way here to buy more! I put it on everything: meat, poultry, fish, seafood, veggies. It’s versatile yet delicious.

What an adorable and fantastic shop! I got as many souvenirs as I could fit in my carry on. I ordered more online when I got home and Sophie was so helpful at making sure my order was complete. I look forward to stopping in on my next visit and will leave room for more souvenirs, tiramisu caramels, and coffee!

Such a cute store. As soon as you walk in, you are struck by the charming aesthetic of this shop. Pick up your souvenirs like mugs, tea & coffee varietals and make someone’s day by sharing a little slice of St John with them. Definitely recommend supporting this small business.

Must stop spot!! On the 2nd floor by the ferry docks in Cruz Bay. Quaint space with an amazing assortment and selection! So many local and tropical sauces, seasonings, coffee, and more. Small gifts, shirts, artisan crafts… a bit of everything! An added bonus, they offer flat rate USPS shipping for everything if needed. We only had carry ons with us so, the other half of our order, of larger items, was shipped for like $15. Super excited for the rest of our delivery! Thank you and we will be back!!

Probably the best gift shop on the island. Owner is often in the store, she’s fun to chat to. We had a good chat the state of Texas also 😂
