St. Josef

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Sacha gave us plenty of helpful advice as it was our first visit to Zurich. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location to explore the Old Town, and lake. We were give a coffee when we arrived early as there was a short wait for our room. Definitely stay there again.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at the hotel. Rooms were clean, updated and ours was quite roomy. Free breakfast at was great. Location is ideally close to the Aldstat. Would stay here again!

I would like to commend the extremely welcoming and friendly staff - both at the reception and at the restaurant. Wonderful room - clean, spacious, comfy. Also, the location is quite close to the old town (within walking distance), making it a great place to stay not only for business trips, but also for a city break.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and provided great suggestions of things to do along with free tickets to a museum. Easily walkable from the main train station and to all of the sites in the area. Also very close to a university up the hill which was fun to walk around. Great location and well upgraded and clean rooms!

Lovely hotel. Modern clean rooms, really lovely helpful staff, nice breakfast and located just down the hill from ETH. The only thing I would have liked is to have a security door lock e.g a chain in my room. That aside, it was a perfect stay.

The warm welcome of Eni at the reception made us feel very comfortable. Eni gave us a lot of important information about the city in general so that we would not be inconvenienced during our short stay. She also helped us make a reservation at a restaurant immediately. Even though we arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time, our room was already ready. The room was spotlessly clean, beautiful with all the amenities for its category. The breakfast with a very good variety and quality to satisfy everyone. The location of the hotel is ideal!!! Right next to the old town (altstadt), 1-2 minutes from the river, quiet area, very close to trams and the central train station. Of course I would choose it again.

Nice little hotel in a very quiet area of the city. Maybe a bit too expensive for a 3-star hotel, but all in all ok knowing this is Switzerland. All staff I had to deal with were extremely nice and helpful, whether at the front desk or the breakfast area. The room was ok and very clean, just like the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was simple but nothing you would expect from a continental breakfast was missing.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, where the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the dishes in the restaurant were delicious. The location was great, easy access to the trams, nice room, warm at night and good bedding, highly recommended.
