"Stables at Koele Wide-open expanses and breathtaking scenery make the Pineapple Isle ideal for horseback riding. Hop in the saddle and wind along trails through the rustling ironwoods and red hills of Lanai. These excursions—available at all skill levels—often pass deer and quail rustling in hidden, verdant valleys. One of the highlights: clopping past the island's signature Cook pines. Each one spins the highland fog into 200 gallons of water daily! This equestrian program has exceptional guides, gear, and horses, as might be expected from the Four Seasons Lanai, Lodge at Koele (the stables remain open while the lodge is being renovated). Ask about lessons if you don't feel ready for the mellow 90-minute ramble for novice riders."

On the way from Garden of the Gods, stopped at the stables. They have a lot of goats, donkeys, and mini horses to look at.

Yelp
Curtis at Lānai Ranch was great. He was very personable and made our children's as well as our experience memorable. You can take a tour of Lānai Ranch and check out their horses, miniature donkeys, ponies, and goats. They also offer pony rides for children over 4years old and trail rides for 9years old and over. Definitely recommend checking them out. Rides can be booked through the Four Seasons Lānai.

Yelp
Molly and Norris made our experience amazing, and our respective horses - Boots, Blue, Silverbee, and Chico were sweet as could be. We had a lovely ride through the countryside of Lana'i. It was gorgeous, and our guides provided us with history along the way. The horses were well behaved, sweet, and gentle. After our return, we stayed to visit with the goats, and other horses. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Yelp
These stables are located in a stunning setting at 1300 feet and conveniently for us, just across the way from the Lodge at Koele. We were fortunate to be the only pair of riders with with guide Cody and his pointer Gunner. We rode in the open and through ironwood trees while Cody shared the history and local lore. What a relaxing and enjoyable mid-day ride. I highly recommend considering coming up from the beach to visit the Stables at Koele.

Yelp
Upon arrival at the stables, we were greeted by Shaun, who also was our guide. He gave us a quick tutorial on horseback riding, helped us onto our horse, and we hit the trail. It was a nice slow walk and Shaun kept the group together. It took about 30 minutes to get to the top of the trail, which overlooks the ranch. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for a novice rider.

Yelp
In the words of Rob Thomas "dance naked with your bad-self" What a place! The vibe at Koele is so nice. I felt like a part of the crew after my ride. Everyone was great and the ride up with Cody was phenomenal! Thanks a lot -

Yelp
My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Lanai and this ride was the highlight of our trip. We were in heaven as soon as we pulled into the ranch. The stables are beautiful and pristine; it was evident that they take pride in caring for their horses as well. Molly was our wrangler and brightened our experience. She was very kind and welcoming and interacted with us the entire time. We learned a lot about the island and felt completely comfortable on our horses (Cash and Gib.) The trail was stunning and we got some really nice vantage points. Our experience felt more like going on a trail with friends rather than just a tour. Thank you for a special memory!

Yelp
Lanai Grand Adventures - Hey these guys do it right! Every opportunity to wow...they do! When's the last time you've been to a stable that was spotless? Beautiful animals, amazing countryside, super happy and courteous staff! And horses aren't it....they have a stellar archery and sporting clay area. Really cool! Also the UTV's too much fun....you've never had that much fun getting that dirty. Check in with Bobby the owner he'll show you some serious aloha and give you an unbelievable experience!

Yelp
Cody showed my mom a great time today riding. He's very knowledgable and the horses are beautiful and very well cared for. Awesome activity to add to your Lana'i adventures!

Yelp
We did the Carriage ride and our driver Shawn was incredible. He was very friendly, my two girls LOVED the carriage ride as Shawn had them sit up by him and at one point steer the carriage.
