Well worth looking at the roof is amazing. With the vault ceilings and slits in the structure allowing the light to shine through this vast cover is impressive to walk through

The contrast is what makes it so cool and memorable. The design itself is fantastic, with the beautiful wooden ceiling and glass details. It's more than just a building; it's a lively public space that provides shelter and a unique perspective on the historic city center. It’s a must-see for anyone interested in how the old can meet the new.

LOVE this building. Very modern but, to my eye, totally fitting in to the medieval buildings surrounding it. Design by Robbrecht en Daem and Marie-José Van Hee. Also, it's free - no tickets required.

A modern large, open canopy construction in the center of Ghent, this building doesn't fit too well into the historic environment, but many times events are happening thus making it a more interesting place. From the nearby small park, we enjoyed a local choir singing in the canopy and creating beautiful ethereal sounds.
