just got 1 night room, the opposite street with night club a bit noisy until earlier morning. Remember contact reception to chnage the room if did happened. Otherwise, all things good and nice stay.

All the furniture in the room was old and outdated. The bathroom was very small and dirty.

Nice hotel in the middle of the city. Breakfast is really delicious. Large selection with fresh home-baked goods. The room is clean but a bit worn and old. Good opportunities for a beautiful hike on the other side of the park. I recommend the hotel.

My wife and I stayed here one night during our 5 day bike trip through Skane. I wasn't sure what to expect based on the reviews and price but I loved this hotel.||||Our good stay began with the welcome at the front desk by Ellin (spelling?). She said, "You must be (my name). You are staying for one night." She knew because I walked in wearing a cycling jersey and bicycle helmet and had noted that we would be arriving by bicycle. She told me we could keep our bikes in a storage room.||||Our room was quite nice. Although the bathroom was very small, it was fine. The street view was good. The hotel is situated in the heart of Kristianstad with many restaurants withing walking distance.||||The breakfast was quite good, although it would be good if they served more fruit - although this is the case for all holidays in Skane! I love the bar and dining room. They blend stately and modern very well.||||I would gladly stay at Stads Hotellet again! Please keep the price the same, however.

The room was a very good size, the bed was comfortable. Loved the decor. The host was friendly and helpful. The location was great, walkable to everywhere. the morning breakfast had lots of choices to get you going in the morning. I really have nothing bad to say, we loved our stay here. We were here for my husbands work, I got to stay and explore Kristianstad.

Old historic hotel in central location, good access to downtown areas. Parking across street (paid). Rooms and comfort were good. Management needs to invest in this hotel to update pretty much everything to acceptable standard. Great breakfast included, well prepared (best I've had in a long time in any hotel I've stayed). Staff were helpful and tried to accommodate us with the problems we had. Corner rooms, suites, do not get WiFi signal so as soon as you leave the hallway, coverage drops. Hotel management needs to reconfigure their WiFi relays so all guests can benefit. We tried two rooms, both had problems with the TV and neither would function with Chrome cast, despite being a menu option. Disappointed. Also, if you are there on a Friday, Saturday evening, like we were, prepare to not sleep due to pounding dance clubs next door bass tracks that continue to about 2:00AM.
