Stadsvilla Mout Rotterdam-Schiedam

Wonderful and classy suites at an affordable price. |The hotel is located in the most beautiful part of town. The building itself is lovely. |Considering the price I found the suite far better than expected. |The breakfast was quite basic but good enough.

Stadsvilla Mout in old Schiedam is in an old beautiful building along Lange Haven canal and it has a very relaxed atmosphere. Old Schiedam is an elegant neighbourhood and with a map from the hotel we followed a walk to see the old gin distilleries and windmills, which we recommend. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with modern tasteful furniture. Wi-Fi worked well and staff was friendly and always available. The hotel recommends a few restaurants in walking distance and the tram stop to reach the centre of Rotterdam is 8 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a ||local shopping centre nearby in the 'Passage' which we found to be handy. In general one must plan the visit mindful that most shops and museums are closed on Mondays.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, came out on 17/10/2024 until 21/10/2024 for my boyfriends 18th birthday. beautiful rooms, friendly staff, they made our trip 1000x better, the bottle of prosecco and note were a really nice touch. minibar well stocked and fairly priced, quiet location within minutes walk of tram or metro

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of wonderful—it felt as warm and cozy as home. The hotel is nestled in a historic area along a charming canal, adding to its unique charm. The stylish interior and comfortable bed made for a perfect retreat. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We opted for the romantic package, which included exquisite chocolates and delicious champagne. The staff also made my husband's birthday extra special with a thoughtful celebration. We will definitely be returning!

Had a nice stay at Stadsvilla Mout. Very cool building near the historic city center. The room was very comfortable. The shower was spacious and had good pressure. Breakfast was good and the employees were friendly. I have given 4 out of 5 stars as the wifi wasn't working during the whole stay. That's something they need to improve. Other than that, I would recommend a stay here :)

We arrived late in the evening, completely frazzled from jet lag and ready to collapse. Enter Nina, our superhero of the night! We had communicated by email prior to our arrival and in general the hotel was very responsive. Nina was so friendly and she went above and beyond by helping us lug our suitcases to the room while we sorted out parking. We had left our luggages in the lobby fully expecting to move it later ourselves. Parking involved a short 5-minute walk to ‘t Nieuwe Werck, located a street away just behind the hotel. There was a small daily fee, but it was so great to have a dedicated spot at the parking garage because street parking is almost always full by the evening. Our room had a gorgeous canal view, and the interior was just as charming. Bonus points for the bedside reading books (though I was too exhausted to even make it to chapter one). Kitchenette was fully stocked with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, kettle, free coffee and tea. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the toiletries were high quality, making our stay all the more pleasant. The hotel location was perfect – a charming, quiet spot just a short walk from the town centre. Ideal for getting a good night’s sleep while still being close to everything. But honestly, Nina’s service really made it for us. If every hotel had a Nina, the world would be a much better (and more organised) place. Thank you!
