What a lovely place! A great stop for our first night of our trip. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great tips and advice from the owner at breakfast and lovely service! Breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day. Would highly recommend a stay here. Landsberg am lech is also beautiful!

I am compelled to write this long overdue review of this hotel and all I can say is fantastic and such an excellent experience! We are a family of 4 travelling by bicycle from Canada and after a very wet day of cycling, we were greeted by Michael. Warm smile, beyond accommodating with a safe place to clean and store our bicycles. Very wet clothing that he most generously dried for us. The rooms were very well appointed, clean with fantastic pillows! The views out our windows of the old city were wonderful. The location is in the heart of the old town and as such, Michael provided us with ample information for a walking tour and options for dining out. Breakfast was great...fresh meats and breads, juice and coffee. Hope we have the opportunity to stay here again!

Quiet and cheap hotel in the centre of Landsberg. Perfect for a short business trip.

I only spent a long weekend here but it was remarkable.||To start with, Michael greeted me with a big smile on arrival. He talked me through the important bits before I moved into the room.||||The room is spacious, I stayed in an ensuite double room. It was reasonably equipped with the most necessary kits. My window was facing the road and the church across the street however I've not had any issues with noise. The room was clean, I found the duvet suitable for my needs and there was adequate adjustable heating as well, which I turned on when the temperature dropped.||||The hotel had a little parking space which is cleverly managed so people could freely leave the carpark whenever they wanted to. ||I highly recommend the breakfast. It consist of local fresh produce and homemade bread straight from the oven. Theres plenty of food to start the day with and it definitely worth the €5.||||Landsberg is a beautiful small village with a bunch of great local restaurants and beautiful scenery. I did not have the time to discover the surroundings but it captures you from the moment that you leave the train station.||||Other than the local entertainment, Munich is roughly 1 hour away by train. You will need to change at Kaufering but you have trains every 10 minutes or so and its pretty straight forward in both directions. Michael was helping me out majority of the time, he even looked up the cheapest way to get to Oktoberfest, he's genuinely a great person.||||In general its a lovely place with an amazing host, the room was comfortable, I can only recommend it.

We stayed for 2 nights,my brother and I are 77 yrs and 81 years old and found the rooms clean and though simply furnished is comfortable, I was delighted to be given a ground floor room which was warm and convenient. the atmosphere in reception in friendly and welcoming, and a great effort is made to make you feel at home. The only thing missing was a bedside light as it is ,annoying when feeling sleepy while reading you have to get out of bed to turn off the light

We only stayed the one night and the room was adequate for this purpose.||The hosts have a high care factor.||We managed a free car park just beside the hotel with an efficient car shuffle managed on our departure.||The hotel is across the street from the main town square so its location is perfect.||The room was clean but very basic with no fridge, kettle, safe, facial tissues and only very fragile disposable plastic cups. ||The central heating could be turned off and the window opened to have some cool fresh air. This though lets in traffic noise all night.||We requested thicker and firmer pillows which were not able to be supplied.||Be aware that the hotel occupies an historic old building so you will need to fit to manage your suitcases up the narrow and twisting stairs.||Breakfast was served with a smile but no cooked items are offered.||Suitable for a western tourist for one night while travelling the Romantic Road.

Our room number 29 was at the corner and it was huge. It was the largest room that we have had in this trip. I was concerned with traffic noise but it was quiet after dark. The blankets were rather too thin for me. The tram stop was located just in front of the hotel and it was a 3 stop ride to the heart of the city. Not advisable to drive into town so using the tram was the best way in. ||We liked that we had a choice of how we wanted our eggs to be done at breakfast.

The staff is VERY VERY friendly. If it had not been for the wonderful conversation at breakfast with the staff I would have rated this hotel a little lower. The building is charming and perfectly located. We occupied 3 rooms (2 double rooms, and a single). The double room in the front of the house was more updated than the one located further back, and the single room in the far back where I stayed was in need of updating. The single was at the far end of the hall and had a tiny balcony which I enjoyed, but the view was of the backside of several other buildings and below the balcony was piled with wood. There's a 7-8 min walk to the parking lot, so be prepared to unload your luggage in the front of the hotel and drive to parking then have the walk back. There is very limited parking in the front of the building BUT you must pay €2 EVERY HOUR to park there. And the lot further away is €2 for 24 hours. No lift. Stairs only. The bed was hard and had a bit of a worn out musty odor, and the bathroom was tight and awkward. I realize this is an old building, but the room was large enough to accommodate a bath renovation. Breakfast is basic, but served with a happy, friendly smile and great conversation. The staff is more than willing to give you directions or information about the area. Wifi was decent. But shuts off the minute your phone is inactive. Which is a bit of a pain if you rely on it to receive messages or calls. Overall, this is a nice choice of you are seeing the town and staying a night or two.
