"Right next to the InterContinental Wien, the massive Stadtpark is a relaxing green space I recommend for lounging and enjoying the outdoors when the sun is out." - Matthew Kepnes

Lovely park full of life and love. A lot of people come and just tan, many play games, some have picnics or play with their kids, or read. The park is really being looked after, with care and love. It’s just so nice to sit between the trees, being sun kissed, watch life happening around in this wonderful settings and architecture around. Also there is a gorgeous flower kiosk with colorful flowers of many types attached to the park. I also came for a picnic win myself and one of the most yummiest pastries from Offrl bakery 😋

I stayed for an hour in this park, enjoying the beautiful weather and relaxing in nature. It was so refreshing to see groups of people gathered together, talking and spending quality time away from social media — just enjoying life. It’s a really nice and peaceful place, perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with the moment.

Stadtpark is a perfect blend of nature, art, and Viennese elegance. We loved walking along the tree lined paths and relaxing by the pond. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind in the heart of the city, whether you're strolling, picnicking, or just people watching. Clean, well maintained, and full of character. Highly recommend for a quiet break or a scenic walk!

Typical for Vienna - an amazing park with some works of art that amaze you, imbued the beautiful nature and surroundings. Right next to the canal/river, but separated with stylish portals and entrances. Hosts the denkmal of Johan Strauss. Many benches, a small lake - it's great!

Located at Parkring 1, 1010 Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 This is an amazingly huge park in Vienna that extends from the Ringstraße in the Innere Stadt first district up to the Heumarkt (Hay Market) in the Landstraße third district. The park is divided in two sections by the Wienfluss (Vienna River), and has a total surface area of 65,000 square metres (28 acres). Scattered throughout the park are statues of famous Viennese artists, writers, and composers. The opulent Kursalon building on Johannesgasse, with its broad terrace that reaches into the park, is the site of popular waltz concerts. There’s some beautiful sights to see throughout the park besides the statues for example the Johann Strauss Monument and many others not to mention the fantastic flora which is planted, according to it’s species, to bloom at all times of the year. The park first opened in 1862. It’s also family friendly as there is a picnic area and basketball hoops and ramps for skateboarders. It’s all wheelchair accessible and a perfect spot to chill out on a hot day. We spent approximately four 4️⃣ hours just slowly exploring the ponds and generally enjoying everything the park had to offer. It was a great visit and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Thumbs up!!! 👍👍👍
