Stag Lounge

Being the only cigar lounge in the area, I wanted to like Stag Lounge, but it fell short of my hopes for a cool spot to enjoy a cigar and drink. I would best describe it as one of those places I'd return to simply because there are no other options. Location: Stag Lounge is located in Stillwater's historic downtown alongside a handful of restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The potential is there to be a cool, trendy spot. Ambience: - This is definitely a hangout for guys who don't pay attention to their surroundings and just want to watch TV and smoke. - The interior is spacious but dark in gloomy sort of way. When entering, you are greeted by a pool table, an odd mish-mash of masculine wall decor, and forced to walk down a slightly narrow space to the lounge in the back. I got the illusion of walking into a dank cave. - Stag Lounge can accommodate a fair number of people, but there are not enough comfortable lounge seating options. They have some wingback leather chairs we were able to snag in a slightly awkward group seating area. - I was surprised to see bar height tables along one wall, which is not conducive to kicking back and lingering over a smoke. - The bar is long with seating for 7. It has a decidedly "not finished" look with cheap shelves thrown up to accommodate spirits and glassware. Humidor: - The humidor is a small but mostly well-stocked room of cigars. Decent small selection with the big brands (Drew Estate, Fuente, CAO) and some more boutique options (RoMaCraft). - The disappointment for me was that it smelled musty and lacked that delightful aura of a humidor filled with premium tobacco. - A musty smell means it's over-humidified and was built like a room you throw a humidifier in versus a real humidor (walls not treated to handle moisture, etc). It worries me when I smell mildew around cigars. Service: - The one employee working made a valiant effort to be helpful in the humidor while also manning the bar at the other side of the space. - He was not terribly knowledgeable in the humidor, and I opted not to risk ordering a cocktail. - He clearly knew the locals, which points to them having a loyal customer base. - I think it is unprofessional for an employee to sit with customers and smoke the whole time (couldn't he be doing something to clean the humidor?!). - They offer humidified lockers for members at $100/mth, and I saw several customers access their lockers while we were there. He said they had a waiting list for them. Go into Stag Lounge knowing you're getting: a simple spot to have a beer and a smoke and watch sports. Not a high-end smoking experience. -

Deleted my Old review from 2 years ago so I can update it. While I didn't come for the great hour specials, Whitney and Rob were great bartenders for the night despite the late night rush. Drinks were good and fantastic. Had a great time chatting with some of the regulars to the bar in Miguel and Kaley. Kennedy the cigar keep gave me a good recommendation for a cigar as a gift for a friend of mine. Whitney also gave me some places to checkout and see since I was visiting from our of town and it was very much appreciated. Also I learned that the unnamed barkeep from my last visit is named Aspen and is doing well for herself. The liquor selection on hand is also great. I was given some good recommendations of things to try for the next time I can swing by here. Definitely stop by and have a drink at the Stag Lounge if you're in OKC. Definitely try the cinnamon old fashioned while you're here. This bar still lives up to my first visit 2 years ago and I can't wait to come visit the next time I'm in town. What an amazing find close to the heart of Bricktown. Excellent selection of cigars and spirits. A must do if your a connoisseur of the finer things life has to offer. Make sure to say hi to Monica, Garrett, and the rest of the crew.

I wanted to love this place. Based on what I had heard/seen of this place, it was more of an upscale location with a very large selection and high end, hard to find whiskeys. Upon arrival, it was smaller than we had thought, no big deal. The cigar selection was good. The salesman seemed knowledgeable. The bar area was well kept. The vibes for me were more neighborhood bar rather than a whisky/cocktail bar. The staff was not dressed as if this were an upscale lounge; beanies, sweatpants, etc. I felt out of place in my cocktail lounge attire. I will say that the reviews are correct that that the cinnamon old fashion was out of this world!

Monica was great and the smoked old fashioned was amazing along with Leroy at the cigar lounge who gave a great selection

Came here during the thunders playoff run and was really impressed. Happy hour all day Sunday. Food menu but I had already eaten. Off the beaten path makes it perfect for locals to enjoy.

Visited on a Saturday night and wasn't what I expected. I assumed it was more of a cocktail lounge, after arriving it was more of a bar feel, However the vibe was nice and establishment fairly clean tables were a little sticky and restroom wasnt the best as it is shared and needed attention. I found it very fitting for gentelman. Our drinks were fine and service good. Also is wheelchair accessible

I used to come here when I lived in Oklahoma City and it was one of the first places that I had ever smoked cigars so I would credit this place as one of the spots that changed my life as it relates to my hobby of smoking cigars. I brought my wife and cousin here and they loved the drink prices. Plus it was an easy walk from our hotel which was super helpful. If I'm ever there during the week I'm going to for sure try out the food specials that they offer because it seemed like they offer pretty great options. The ambiance is a 12/10. I love a small spot that offers a big vibe and that's exactly what Stag does for me.

OKC! A relaxing night in you alls city I located Stag's Lounge. There humidor wasn't as furnished as I wished; Not too much to choose from. The dude Kennedy has a bitter, sweet approach but, firm within business. The bar seamed well organized and the kitchen was closed. There menu has a few decent options that maybe eye grabbing and delicious. Overall it was a start. Maybe a few months into next year I'll visit again and be surprised with the city hidden gem

Adding a review to showcase their awesome cigar room with many selections- I got the espresso cream one since it was the last one left and it was recommended by the guy who runs the cigar room. Excellent service and classy vibes. There's a torch on the side as well - recommended for sure! Tacos are also great!

Came all the way back from Los Angeles, and 6 months later this place still has the best service. Thank you Kennedy for walking over and lighting my cigar while I was watching the game! Thank you Whitney and Joel for being welcoming and cool every time we've been here. The crowd is always awesome and the environment is chill. Great drinks, great cigars, I'll be back OKC Stag. I remember when this place used to be pretty cute and posh, now it looks like a regular ol dive bar. It's still a decent place to smoke a cigar, grab a cocktail, and some lite bites but definitely nothing wowing. It serves its purpose and I guess that's all that really matters. Lol

I just loved this place. In town for a conference and found it on Yelp. It would be my go-to spot if I lived there. The people and ambiance was just excellent, as was the cigar section.

The drink menu is awesome! They also have a food menu and I did not try the tacos but my friend said they are so good. Love the ambience and the service is great.

Monica was great as bartender. Service was excellent. My wife and I both had Travelers old fashioned. Really good choice. A Nub to enjoy added to the experience! Would recommend to anyone!

Great service and prices on the bourbon. Not a huge bourbon selection especially on the high end but prices were good for the inventory they had.

1/14/25 the lady working at the bar answered the phone and told me the kitchen closed at 10:00pm. I arrive at 946pm and she now has a dumb look on her face saying I do last call at 9:45. I asked her why she didn't state that over the phone she doesn't have an answer to give. Terrible customer service.

I was in town for the night and was looking for a whiskey bar to visit. This came up and I decided to go. When you walk in you get hit with the earthy smell of cigar smoke. Then you get carded. After that I sat at the bar and was warmly welcomed by the staff. You will notice the extensive whiskey collection behind the bar and be stumped as to what to try. I love old fashions and whiskey sours so I went with the whiskey sour and was not disappointed. It was made perfectly with a good amount of whiskey. The vibe is very masculine but I'm into that. I would most definitely recommend STAG if your looking for good whiskey and a chill atmosphere.

Great cigar bar option in town. Nice mellow atmosphere inside. Went during the middle of the week. Great service. Loved the option to be able to sit outside. I ordered the bulgogi bowl and it did not disappoint.

I was staying at a hotel around the corner. I walked over for a quick cocktail. To my surprise, I was immediately met with the smell of cigars. As it turns out, this place had a huge walk in humidifier and you are allowed to smoke even at the bar. Immediately fell in love with the ambiance and vibe. I ordered my usual, an ole fashioned. Sadly, this is the only reason this place doesn't get 5 solid stars. They used store bought bitters and some type of weird sweetener. They didn't smoke the cocktail either. In a place such as this they should be using smoke, house made bitters and better cherries. Loved the place just really let down on cocktail execution. I'll be back on next trip to give it a second try.

My husband enjoyed a cigar and old fashioned while I had a lemon drop martini. The place was full of cigar smokers (10 in the back room I was in) and I don't smoke. The exhaust system did a great job cleaning the air. It smelled like cigars but was not Smokey or uncomfortable for a non smoker.

Ok, decent people and nice downtown location. A little dated but accessible and outside seating if it's warm. Burn is my cigar / bar lounge of choice.

We came by on a rare snow day in Oklahoma and while so many places were closed for business that day we were pleasantly surprised Stag was open. The smoke selection was pretty great. Partner had Blanton's on a rock and I asked for Pinot Grigio which they didn't have. I know it's probably an establishment more geared towards men, however, they are gonna bring their ladies along so a good wine selection would be wise. Pinot Grigio is less sugar-y than a Chardonnay (sugar = sicky wine headache for me) anyway I think I made do with a Chardonnay. The music was good and their was plenty of space for people to be apart. We only had a single drink since I didn't wanna drink too much Chardonnay but we did have a smoke and it was nice. It was a great nice cap to end our evening out on a snow day.

Every night of the week they have some type of special. I was traveling in from out of town and the environment was great. I wound up having almost a 2 hour conversation with some of the other patrons. Good night. Good cigars.

Great cigar and whiskey selection!! What surprised me was how good the food is. Especially the Gogi queso, best queso I've had in okc. Service is great and the vibe is very cool.

I came here for a first date. The bartenders and selection are outstanding....unlike my date. I'd give the date a 3. Not horrible, not great, just meh. I can only imagine how much more I'll enjoy the Stag Lounge when I come back with friends and want to stay long enough to order food. The menu looked delicious and smelled great.

Parking is a little tight but overall a great place to grab a nice cigar & a good drink. I'll definitely be back.

First off if you love a cool place to go have a cocktail that's local in the neighborhood and close enough for you to drive to, this place covers all those bases. Then add a huge selection of cigars, and a ton of places to sit and enjoy a stick and a cocktail. They have a ton of bourbon and whiskey's which was right up my alley and what I really liked was the place was well ventilated so you did not walk in and get smashed by a cigar smoke, so think about bringing others that maybe aren't cigar smokers and they also could hang with you and have a great time. Super great people the staff behind the bar the people sitting around hanging out have a good time. I met one gentleman his name was Elvis and we chatted for 30 minutes about him and Elvis and my relationship with the king of rock 'n' roll and just had a great time. If you're in Oklahoma City up in the north end of Bricktown or anywhere around the ballpark you got to go if you like cigars and a great bar I'll be back that's for sure.

The cocktails are amazing. My husband had the house stag old fashion. He couldn't stop talking about it so we had to go back for a second night on our trip lol. The Stag wine is to die for. They have a pretty tiny food menu but man oh man is it good. We had the loaded fries and the tacos. Zero complaints. The bartenders are so friendly also. I didn't love the cigar smoke but I knew what I was signing up for when we went there. A+ suggestion. Definitely recommend.

Excellent atmosphere, amazing staff. BUT...they have an abysmal selection of gin, use bottled seltzer water (ick), and no Merlot or Pinot Noir. Come on, guys. Up your beverage selection. You're worth better! And so are your customers.

Fabulous drinks! Hats off to the bar tender-she made a phenomenal Old Fashion. It seems to be a challenge to find a place that truly knows how to make one! The cigar selected was sweet and paired excellent with the drink. I look forward to going again!

This lounge has great staff, excellent cocktails and cigars. The atmosphere is relaxed and a great place to hangout and have a top notch drink. Patrons are free to smoke cigars indoors and there is a pleasant aroma of sweet tobacco

Excellent bar that has excellent whiskey selections. They also have a decent size humidor with great cigars. Service is always excellent.

Really enjoyed Stag Lounge. Perfectly located in Deep Deuce, it's a great spot for a post work beverage and cigar break. The humidor has a great selection and Steve was really great about explaining the different varieties. Plus there's a happy hour. I quite enjoyed the Charcuterie tray.

My new go-to place in OKC. Super posh, great whiskey selection, be it bourbon or scotch. The cigar selection is growing, with top of the line selections to choose from. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful on both subjects of alcohol and smoke. What a gem! Greeted at the door, wonderful / inviting ambience and as luck would have it we enjoyed "Whiskey Wednesday" in a great neighborhood bar. Loved it! :-)

Great spot for cigars and a drink. While the cigar 'shop' is rather small it's selections aren't bad. What I loved was the bar. Amazing whiskey options and craft beer. The staff is always outgoing and helpful. There are great deals almost every day and was as Happy Hour. Fun place to relax and hangout.

Great drinks and cigars, but mostly a great atmosphere. Service was excellent and definitely a place to spend a cool evening with friends. 5 star all the way.

I've watched the many attempts by numerous bars and restaurants to plant themselves in the building, all lasting around a year. Out of all of the things that have occupied this space, I have enjoyed Stag the most and hope that they are able to stick around. Oklahoma City has very few indoor smoking bars, specifically cigar bars. I am no cigar connoisseur, but I do enjoy a cigar and glass of whiskey from time to time. Insert Stag...where it's okay to have a smoke and a drink. The prices are on par with similar establishments and the staff have always been great. For anyone that doesn't mind a little smoke, I encourage a trip over to Stag. It's sure to not disappoint!

Very cool lounge with some tasty happy hour drinks. Try The Godfather. Hoppy Abby is working - she is fantastic and helpful. Also she is very knowledgeable on their cigars.

Small little whiskey cigar bar. The cigar room faces the sidewalk and is small and hard to control humidity and temperature. Small selection of cigars but enough to meet the needs. Nice place to relax and smoke. Agree Logan is a good bartender.

A decent selection and range of prices of cigars. Extensive whiskey menu and a really cheap happy hour 3-700 with it running all day Sunday and Monday. A great stop when in OKC

Rudest waitress ever . 3 people in bar had to ask twice for service. No conversation whatever. Demand payment up front. Put $20. for $3.06 tab had to ask for change. Response " I thought that was for me" nice atmosphere for cigar smoking except for service

We recently moved to Deep Deuce and have been making an effort to try all the bars in the area. While a cigar bar is totally not my thing, the delicious & expansive cocktail menu and shaded patio won me over. They have happy hour specials & daily specials & their food & drinks are very reasonable at baseline anyways. Most cocktails $6-$9 range. We will definitely go back.

I found Stag near my hotel in Brockton. Great people and the bartender, Steve, does a great job. Bring your own cigars or get one from their very good supply. Good conversation with the other folks at the bar, comfortable and welcoming to those of us who are just visiting. 25% off on a very wide selection of whiskeys on Wednesday and the owner, Dwayne, shared some special limited release McCallan. Excellent place to spend a few hours, make sure you drop in if you are in town.
