Service was super quick to take our order and get us out our sandwhiches. Menu was hard to read since there was so many items on it, but Google reviews directed me to the pastrami — this was very good. Italian was also good ! Atmosphere was very much an nyc deli, but cleaner than most.

As soon as we walked in, they directed us where to order and pay. I got a bagel with strawberry cream cheese (I think it was plain cream cheese with strawberry puree and it was delicious). I picked up a banana and juice too, and it was under $10. We ate in and it was very comfortable in there. Would highly recommend. We went around 8:30am on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy.

This place is delicious. Staff were so friendly and attentive. Very clean restrooms! Large menu with a wide variety of options. Came from UT, would recommend!

This deli is elite. Open 24 hours, and they’ve got the whole operation down to a science. I pulled up late, expecting a wait, but they had my sandwich ready fast as heck. The menu is stacked—so many options that it almost feels impossible to pick just one. I went with the corned beef pastrami loaded with coleslaw and Russian dressing, and wow, that combo hit hard. The bread was fresh, the meat was stacked just right, and that sauce pulled everything together. It was messy in the best way possible. You can tell they’ve been doing this for a while—everyone behind the counter moves with purpose. It’s that perfect mix of chaos and efficiency that only a real New York deli can pull off. Crushed it right before walking across the Brooklyn Bridge, and it hit the spot perfectly. If you’re ever in the area and need something quick, hearty, and legit good any time of day (or night), this is the move.

The best chopped cheese in the city! The folks working behind the counter are friendly and helpful. Our food came out quickly, was affordable, and really good.

Great experience and great food. Soooo many options on the menu. The bagel was great. Fresh strawberry cream cheese with real strawberries. And the apple strudel was huge and delicious!

Fantastic. Kind of lost for words, was I just ready for food or was this place the best deli ever? My sandwich was great, stuffed full of meat and really tasty. Service was great, for NY super calm and helpful, exactly what I needed.

We were tired and hungry after a long day and needed a break so we stopped in this deli and it was so very yummy. The service was top tier. The man at the front is so friendly and we received our food super quick. 10/10 recommend!

I was all smiles getting breakfast here!!! We had a time slot for the 911 Memorial and just looked on the map for a local place and happened to go in here. I'm shocked to see lower stars getting on here to leave this review. My bacon and egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was one of the best I had while I was in New York. The guys yelling back-and-forth the orders and throwing the sandwiches to each other was so fun to watch!! the locals would just come in one after another and ramble off whatever sandwiches that they already knew that I didn't see on the menu, but you could tell this seem to be a local hotspot on their way to work. There was so many options on the menu and not sure of all the options I was intimidated to order, but everything looked amazing!!! Very cool NY vibe!!! I will definitely be going back!!

I decided to give this deli spot a try, and I ordered chopped cheese and chicken noodle soup. The chopped cheese is on a brioche bun with beefy meet inside. I looked up Yelp, and it was walkable from where I was during the afternoon. I had chopped cheese and chicken noodle soup for lunch. My friends and I shared some deliciously cooked crispy waffle fries which is made fresh and tasted so so good! The place has seating and tables to eat inside the store and also they have a large variety of drinks to try! Friendly service and clean tables which I enjoy plenty, just as much as I enjoyed the food.

Five stars for being what it is supposed to be - a Classic NYC breakfast deli - breakfast and a show too, as the staff cajoles each other, tosses sandwiches from back kitchen to front cashier and generally has a good time. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich, it was prepared exactly as requested. I would recommend for breakfast certainly.

A quick no frills meal by Oculus. My boyfriend and I stopped by Stage Door Delicatessen for lunch to fuel us on our adventures. No expectations since we saw the low reviews but it was more like the convenience of the location. When you enter, you order what you want at the food station that offers what you want. They had a big variety on their menu but they menu was disorganized and almost overwhelming. And then you ring up at the cashier, and you seat yourself. Pay attention to the staff cause they'll call out what you order when it's ready for pick up. There was a good amount of tables here, even though they were tightly packed. We picked a table that wasn't close to other patrons to avoid bumping into each other. My boyfriend had a Turkey Club ($14) that came with a bag of chips. He said the sandwich was really dry. I had their 2 Eggs, Bacon, Home Fries, and Toast ($9.75 + some eggflation additional charge during the time of our travel). We also shared a small Sour Du Jour ($5.25) which was an Orzo Chicken soup. The portions are really big but the food wasn't anything to be excited about. Everything was on the greasy side. I feel like it made me almost too full what I intended. And since we aren't locals it's not like we could have taken the food to-go. If you're in the area and need a quick bite, it's an option but not saying a great option.

Really fast service and friendly friendly staff they will get your sandwich ready in three minutes and it's fresh and hot. Avocadoes are creamy but the breads are just ok not stale but not delicious. But the sandwich itself is yummy and salted. Coffee is nice they have an espresso machine but it's not freshly done espresso so it be sitting. It's fine, $8 and up sandwiches but worth it for the speed and hot meal. They have seating and pastries and cake.

Came to this little spot as a recommendation by one of the survivors telling their stories outside. Talk about selection, you can get pretty much anything you want in this extensive menu. All the breakfast, staples, bagels, rolls, hot food, fruit, and fresh juices. I went with a standard bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, and it did not!

This was my first time here. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. It wasn't life changing, but it hit the spot! I'd recommend this place if you're in the area and need a place to sit and grab a bite.

Friendly service, great food, solid music, and overall great vibe for a spot that seems like a tourist trap. It's definitely not that. Go to the deli if you're in the area.

Really solid deli. Good breakfast and super reasonable for Manhattan. The pizza upstairs is really good too.

I have always been very respectful, even in my notes when I do my pickup orders. The man who seems to handle that, appears annoyed not sure if at the environment, or with me. But I feel it. The last 2-3 times he's left my order to last and the whole purpose of pickup is to go there to pick it up. I have been left waiting still when I arrive. I always tip them also. Today. He completely ignored my order and I had to wait for one of the cooks to get it and start my order.

Total ripoff. I asked for two bagels and some egg salad. They gave us two platters with what I asked for plus two bags of chips and two halves of a pickle. That plus a small orange juice came out to almost $30. I didn't say anything that even sounded like "platter." Total ripoff. Shame on you, Stage Door. You took advantage of a retired teacher and a woman who works for a non-profit organization.

We stopped for a quick lunch before heading to 911 Memorial. We ordered the Italian hero and corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. It was a good amount of meat in both. The flavors were good and bread was soft. Service was also quick and everyone behind the counter was friendly. The tables are squeezed in tightly will just enough space to walk through. The restroom was downstairs and very clean.

We were looking for a place for a quick lunch, specifically a deli, and Stage Door was nearby. It may look small from the outside, but it actually has a deli on one side and a pizzeria on the other (just read the signs at the entrance)! The deli offers breakfast, grilled items, burgers, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, a hot food bar, salads, pastries, and beverages. We ordered: +the #3 - Corned Beef, Pastrami, Swiss, Cole Slaw & Russian Dressing - this sandwich was stuffed well, the rye bread was soft, and there was a good amount of Russian dressing, which I appreciated; this was actually pretty tasty and filling! +the soup of the day - Chicken Orzo - really good broth, lots of chicken, but the orzo was a bit overcooked and super mushy Service was very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. There are also a handful of tables inside to dine-in, but most seem to get their orders to-go. I was told the restrooms were extremely clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus! Once you place an order, you pay, and you wait just a few and your order is ready. Then, you can make your way to the dining section and grab a table. Stage Door Delicatessen tops my city favorites. Restaurant team members displayed remarkable kindness and assistance. This restaurant will see me as a regular face. The seasoning is excellent. Prices won't shock and staff helps. The place impressed me immensely.

Just ordered an egg sandwich. It was a bit less than mediocre. They charged me $12.79. Outrageous. Will never ever go again. A total JOKE. Horrible Only hit 1 star to post review. Yelp should offer -5 Stars. That's what I would give them.

We were recommended Stage Door for breakfast by the 911 Museum security guard. This was a great suggestion and we had an awesome breakfast here. If you are looking for a good quality and fast meal near the Occulus or 911 Memorial, this is perfect. We had an omlette and chocolate pancakes that were amazing. There's a whole deli here, so get anything you want. Great food, it's fast and super close to the subway or 911 museum

You wouldn't believe how many options this small deli offers. Breakfast staples (omelettes, pancakes, etc.), sandwiches (paninis, burgers, and more), pastas, meats, soups, pizzas, and more make an appearance here. While there are several tables inside for dine-in, Stage Door also offers easy to-go options like smoothies, bagels, muffins, and croissants. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are surprisingly clean for the traffic the restaurant must get. I'd definitely come back again.

Food was spot on and really fast. Staff were helpful and patient. (Us being tourists). We stayed at the Millineum across the street. So convenient, also open very early. You can't go wrong.

Before my visit to the memorial (because it was so close to ground zero), my friend and I came here to have breakfast. I was very excited for this moment because I heard that breakfast at a deli was just as good as lunch. I had a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with a hash brown on the side. It was so damn good and I wish I had been smart enough to order another hash brown. The egg was yokey, but I honestly had no problems with that because it was delicious. They are very quick there and it was clear they wanted you to be on your feet when ordering and hearing your order up. There are a few of these places but this one was impressive downtown.

Rude cashier, I assume he was the owner. Food is as expensive and salty. Go somewhere else

Visited a few times in the early morning during the week & boy is this place always buzzing. There's always a line of customers, yet it goes pretty quickly. They have an old school way of screaming out the orders & throw around the sandwiches from the grill to the counter which I think is hilarious! They're a friendly bunch & are great at substituting orders. So far the breakfast wraps are my favorite especially the lime cilantro wrap, tastes great!

Needed breakfast, came here. Customers were all staff from other restaurants, so you knew it was going to be good. XL cappucino & breakfast special for my monsters, under $12! Can't wait to return in a week. The place was clean, service prompt & friendly, and not in the least bit overpriced or rude.

The preparation of the food is always amazing! Reasonable prices! The deliveries are always on time. Joh has always been courteous and entertaining.

I ordered an eggplant parmigiana from here which was supposed to be a 'panini'. For $17 you'd think they could put some cheese on their parmigiana sandwich, I suppose a melted droplet counts. Not an ounce of tomato sauce and eggplant so bland it tasted like warm snot. The panini was slightly warmed, not even pressed. Their quality is piss poor because they know the working people of downtown don't have the time to ask for a refund. It's a shame that this place wasn't destroyed on 9/11

This place is the best! The menu is HUGE. They have hot foods- spaghetti, beef stew (so good & the beef was soo tender), baked chicken, and more. They have wraps, hot homemade chicken soup and minestrone, hot & cold sandwiches, breakfast, fresh fruit, salads - the works. They have it all. Order at the back, work your way up front to the cash register. It was delicious. I had a cup of beef stew and an everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese. My husband had a Reuben and chips, and we grabbed a jelly roll to go. BUT! Not only was the food filling and delicious, the guys behind the counter were so friendly and nice - the customer was tremendous. Please do yourself a favor - if you are coming to the 9/11 Memorial at the World Trade Center, make time to stop in here. You'll be happy and full.

Just priced themselves out of business. What they characterized as a price increase was a gouge. Special #3 goes from $13.50 to $19:00....crazy. Last time.

Stage Door Delectation is a convenient spot for Ground Zero tourists to pay exorbitant prices for average sandwiches and other unremarkable food items.

Busy NYC deli but they move the crowds through quickly in true NY style! While I was waiting for my sAndwich to be made I saw the grill cook (literally) throwing wrapped sandwiches to the cashier to ring up. Throws were accurate as passes always caught (important). They have cooked foods, salaDs, hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, bfast - you name it. Half a dozen tables in the rear and free WiFi. I had their Italian cold cut combo sub / hero. It was good. Roll was fresh and awesome and cool Le cuts very good qUality not too thickLy stacked. Topping coUld have been more plentiful but they did add roasted peppers for me. Sub wAs good, but eating there and watching the show even better.

Great small spot to grab breakfast! It's quite a popular place so there will be a line but it moved alone very quickly! They have a really large breakfast/brunch selection for food and it's very reasonably priced. Definitely stop in for a quick bite!

This was the best of all of the corned beef sandwiches we've eaten on this trip. To enjoy this delicious bit of heaven, we were able to find two seats next to a welcoming native. Seating IS limited. So be friendly and accommodating. If you don't want corned beef, you have many choices. There are so many choices that you might get dizzy looking & deciding. In addition to entrees, the desserts were plentiful & looked amazing. I hope I didn't leave drool marks on the glass case. Everyone who works here is efficient, helpful, and in constant motion. It's clean, well lit, and if you need to be entertained, look up to watch one of three flat screen TVs. As soon as our native pal left, someone was wiping down her side of the table. And someone was ready to swoop in & take her place.

The people there are friendly and the food here is excellent. I order the western omelette most of the time. They are very systematic here. You order, you pay, and get your food in less than two minutes. Great job!

Wife and I stopped in here for lunch I had a hot pastrami sandwich came with chips and a pickle wife had a Italian hero, both sandwiches were excellent I would definitely return to get another pastrami the meat was so tender.

Before I went on a tour around the World Trade Center, I came here for breakfast. I noticed that the menu was huge. I wanted a good new york bagel so I ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. It was delicious. Probably the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. Next time I come downtown, I'm coming back here

After seeing 911 museum had a quick bite pastrami & corned beef sandwich. Meat was tender and full of flavor It is not Katz deli but, it was Good

I had wanted to try Katz Deli before leaving NYC but didn't have enough time and Stage Door was super close and decided to give it a try. I have no regrets other than I didn't find this place soon enough!!! AMAZING Reuben sandwich. I ordered it with mustard instead of Russian dressing. Incredible value at $11.75. It came with half of a pickle which was also delicious and a bag of chips. I wish I was staying longer so that I could try more things on their menu. They have an array of deli offerings including salads, breakfast items, and wraps.

There's so much variety here! Breakfast options, bagels, sandwiches, salads, soup, cheesecake... I got the signature sandwich #1 with corned beef, turkey, and cole slaw w russian dressing. Also a side of potato salad. The man at the counter was friendly and funny. The sandwich is big, and comes w a pickle and potato chips on the side. It was delicious, but the bread gets soggy at the ends from the coleslaw and dressing. The pickle was also a little fishy... Not a big fan of the potato salad, its only potatoes and a sweet, mayo, slightly relishy dressing. Id definitely come back and try their other menu items or breakfast! The desserts look amazing.

Great spot with a HUGE variety of food. They have pasta , sandwiches, wraps, salads and everything but the chicken sink. Drinks are available too but little pricy. (Sodas and beer) must pay for cup with ice for your soda, but the food was great.

i was real hungry so i picked up a chopped cheese and it hitttttt. i'll prob be back for another sometime soon or to try out something else on the menu. guy at the counter was super nice.

I love NY. I love NY delicatessens. If you're in NY, and by WTC, eat here. It's simple. Everything is great. Nothing is mediocre. I especially recommend the chicken cutlet sandwich, and the chopped cheese on a roll. Pizzas are great. Are they Joe's, no, but damn close!

Went for breakfast this morning, and just like the several other times that I've been to this place I really loved it! I had the breakfast platter with bacon and eggs and potatoes and toast. It was reasonably priced and super quick, despite the big crowd in front of me. There's so many choices of food and drinks. The people who work there are very kind and super efficient. I have a suggestion: my daughter will be a freshman at Pace University nearby in the fall. I really think that the Stage Door Deli should be part of the student dining card options for off-campus eateries. You guys are fantastic!

Very good food. We're visiting and staying at a hotel next door. We have had lunch 1x and breakfast 2x and it's been great both times. It moves fast and it's noisy! I wouldn't expect any less in a NY deli!
