Originally, family-owned and operated by Larry Gerelus and Linda Pruegger since 1992, this beautiful portfolio features Spanish, French and Italian varietials and a personal favourite for many reasons. One being the diversity of the portfolio (sparkling to port-style wines) and award winning (much appreciation for the renowned winemaker Dwight Sick whom elevated the profile). Since change of ownership after Larry and Linda retiring from the industry, new winemaker Kiera LeBlanc has wonderfully added her own touches to Dwight’s legacy. Every visit to Stag's Hollow Winery is relaxing, pleasant and warm… especially from the verandah view of the valley! ☀️🍇🍷🏆🥂 Huge fan of: Tempranillo, Pinot Noir, Dolcetto, Albariño, Renaissance series and port.

Had an awesome tasting with Fred today! Definitely recommending this winery. They have an amazing view, they are growing some unique varietals for the area and have some amazing wines! Well done Stag’s Hollow 🥂

Last night we attend the fall wine harvest dinner, which included wine & food pairings during the 4 course dinner. There were 32 couples who attended. My wife and I were seated across from the previous winery owners(“Larry & Linda”) who had started the vineyards & winery back in the 1990’s. We also met the current owner”Eric”. The food was fantastic and the Stag Hollow wines were exquisite! We’ll be back next year!

Very enjoyable wine tour. Friendly staff and in no way pushy to purchase their produce. Offered water and let us sample the port, which I ended up purchasing 😀

We enjoyed such a friendly, down to earth, and honest tasting here. Jill was amazing and very generous with her time, pours and knowledge. We especially loved the Muscat Frizzante for a hot summer day, and enjoyed Jill's recommendation to head next door for lunch afterward. Cute little stopover if you’re doing this circuit (which also includes Noble Ridge and Liquidity, both of which are absolutely fabulous). Stag’s Hollow was also the rare winery where almost every wine we tasted was something we wanted to purchase. Simple yet elegant.

We came here on a wine tour not having any expectations, and wow were we blown away!! Fred was a marvellous host who guided us through our tasting with deep knowledge and a sharp wit. We absolutely loved everything we tried here and came away with several bottles. Pro tip: don’t sleep on the canned Frizzante - it is warm, rich, and sweet like black current jam but not overpoweringly so! We picked up some cans to enjoy on the second leg of our trip in the Cariboo (pictured below). Thank you, Fred!! We hope to see you again very soon!

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised during my first visit to this winery. I had tried their wines before but have never been to the winery itself. The woman pouring the tastings was very knowledgeable and friendly. The Port style wine was one of our favorites by far.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I were on vacation through Okanagan wine country. Over six days, we visited sixty wineries. You can follow our various locations with this disclaimer. That's sixty wineries, not an exaggeration. We ended the trip with 120 bottles acquired. On a rather isolated hill just south of Okanagan Falls sits a family of smaller wineries all worthy of a visit. The first two on this list is Wild Goose and Stags Hollow, which is a fifteen-second walk from each other, literally next door. Thus, a visit to one equates to visiting both. But be aware that these wineries are like Anna Kendrick, petite and an acquired taste. But I adore that actress, and I walked away with several bottles that day. The actual tasting rooms are small, and in total, both visits won't take long, but there is also Liquidity and Noble Ridge nearby, and those wineries are amazing, and it would be crazy to go here without visiting them all, so go do that. About the only thing odd about the location is that because they on a hill, they're basically beside the highway, but you have a winding route to get where you need to go, but it's still worth it.

Yelp
My dad's favourite winery so I needed to mention on yelp. The wine is decent, they will give you your pick of any one wine for free or $2 for 5 samples. If you're willing to buy bottles they'll refund the tasting fee. Beautiful views, simple, nice wine shop and friendly staff. Favourite wine is Syrah, or if you're willing to spend a few extra $ try the Meritage.

Yelp
Stag's Hollow makes great wines in relatively small quantities, so a visit here is your best bet for some delicious wine shopping. Although well kept and pretty, the winery itself is not a huge attraction like many of the wineries in the Okanagan that offer amazing views, art galleries, restaurants, or self-guided tours. This is a small place with some great wine. Wines range in price from $15 to $35. If you're interested in learning more about the behind-the-scenes winemaking at Stag's Hollow, you should check out their winemaker's news on the website.

Yelp
Just down the street from Wild Goose Vineyards is Stag's Hollow Winery. Calgary natives Larry Gerelus and Linda Pruegger, who were enchanted with the Okanagan Valley early on, founded it just over 10 years ago. The winery is quaint, and produces smaller quantities of each variety (under 2000 cases), focusing on quality over volume. Stag's Hollow wines are made from grapes at its own vineyards and grapes from other growers. Here, one can get his or her hands on a bottle of Tragically Vidal- a grape variety that is (tragically) not commonly produced in BC other than for icewine. The winery has two labels- Renaissance (reserve) and Stag's Hollow. Tastings are two dollars for four wines. The tasting room is small and stylish, with some attractive landscaping outside. Last word: Visiting Stag's Hollow is one of the best ways to get your hands on some of the winery's limited wines.
