I chose this hotel because of the close proximity to Sydney Domestic Airport and based upon price, as around $300 a night I think is a reasonable rate for a Sydney hotel. The best attribute is that you will barely even hear the aircraft taking off and landing as each room has double glazed windows. I only barely heard one aircraft in the night time when the air conditioning paused. The location is so close that its only an 8 minute walk to terminal 3 (Qantas), but you will have to cross a busy 6 lane road.||Then there is the room service, I had beef satay skewers and sweet potato fries and my son had french fries (chips). The beef was cooked just right and the satay was amazing with just the right amount of chilli in it. My son said that the chips were cooked to perfection with the right amount of crunch and fluffy inside! The sweet potato’s were cooked to perfection too! ||The bed was a bit hard, but comfortable enough and you won’t be cold while sleeping here as the air conditioning regulates the temperature perfectly.

Stamford Positives Parking Checkin check out easy - reception staff welcoming Room is very spacious comfortable & well appointed The food was fresh & cooked to perfection - we shared a tomahawk steak which came with capsicum, onion & broccolini - we ordered a side dish of potatoes. Negatives Upon going to our room a room service tray of left over food was sitting at our front door - it looked like it had been there all day. There were a few trays on the floor along the corridor - interestingly the concierge was delivering an envelope to the room next door, we asked for them to be removed & when we came back after dinner they were still there. We were woken around 2 to hear they were being collected. We went to the La Boca restaurant at 5pm & waited to be seated (as per the sign) the manager walked up to us & said are you ok ? We advised we had a booking in the restaurant, we were then taken to a table right in the main thoroughfare. We asked if we could sit at any of the 5 vacant tables (2seats) against the wall & he said in a condescending tone fine just don’t sit on the 4 person table as we are going to be busy tonight. We were then left to ponder the menu & a waiter took our order about 15 minutes. We noticed at that time there were 12 people in the restaurant & the same amount in the bar & there were 2 staff present. We went to the bar to get our own drinks. Over the course of the next 2 hours we saw about 100 people & only 4 staff (manager included) to cover the bar & restaurant. Whilst waiting for dinner I noticed the only female bar tender pour a glass of wine, the bottle emptied but the glass was only 1/2 full. She grabbed a new bottle but noticed something on the glass (I suspect lipstick) she then wiped the entire rim of the top of the glass with her thumb & forefinger. I immediately went to the bar & told her I witnessed what she did & to pour that drink out & not serve it to anyone. She admitted to doing what I saw & I said it was disgusting. The manager heard this & didn’t intervene. We felt for the staff as it became extremely busy but the manager knew it was going to be & should have made plans to have additional staff. There are clearly some training deficiencies in the restaurant front of house area customer service & safe food handling.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay near Sydney Airport! The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable — perfect for relaxing before or after a flight. Staff were friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth. The soundproofing is great, so even though it’s right by the airport, it’s surprisingly quiet. FAST INTERNET and super convenient location, just a few minutes from the terminals. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travellers.

David Werda Vice President Ballarat Legacy & I arrived on Tuesday 21st October at the Stamford at 11.30am.||We proceeded to registration...our booking was retrieved and we were asked for a Credit Card. David produced the Ballarat Legacy Business card. The card was swiped and we were asked for our PIN which was tried twice to no avail. We were told that we were required to produce the Drivers License of our Secretary Peta Gillespie who had a fall prior to our trip and could not attend. Peta was in hospital with a shoulder injury to her right arm (writing hand). A copy was obtained and emailed to reception and to David. When the receptionist printed out her copy it was too dark to be useful, David produced his copy of the email which showed the DL clearly. This was not acceptable to the receptionist...she asked for our DL from David & I.||This again was not acceptable...by this time it was 1pm and we had been standing at reception for 90 minutes. She (reception) asked that the email from Ballarat Office be sent again...we re-tried our Legacy Card to no avail. We advised reception we would grab lunch in the restaurant... we paid the bill using the Legacy Card and it worked no problem. Time was now 2pm and we were missing the start of our Legacy Marketing Seminar on the first floor.||I asked the receptionist what was our problem and she replied...I have not received any emails...David had sent the email twice and Legacy Ballarat Office had also sent 2 emails. Again she would not accept the copies from David. At this time which was now 2.30pm David left the front desk as we were both becoming frustrated and agitated at the no option being offered to move any further by the receptionist. It was now 3pm and we had been in the lobby for 3 1/2 hours I asked to see the Manager. He arrived in 5 minutes, checked with the receptionists (2 ladies). He proceeded to come over to us and looked at David's copy of Peta's DL, took a photo with his camera. At 3.15pm we were handed our room keys. Finally all sorted after so long in the foyer. We missed the Legacy Marketing seminar.||Further, during our stay (2-night) we observed that the Stamford did not have sufficient staff to cope with an influx of over 90 Legatees from around Australia...and no doubt others...||Overall a disappointing experience and I will not be returning.

The rooms themselves might not quite reach five-star level, but the hotel absolutely won us over with its excellent gym and outstanding breakfast buffet. The gym is well-equipped with everything you need for a proper workout while traveling. And the breakfast – a real highlight – features a fresh juice station with a proper juicer, which was a game-changer for us. Starting the day with fresh-pressed juice made all the difference and was the deciding factor for giving this place five stars. Highly recommended for anyone who values great fitness facilities and a fresh Smoothie to start the day.

Had a nice room and all was generally ok but there was someone's breakfast from that morning left outside my room. I informed the front desk and they assured me it would be removed that evening and it was still there the following morning! Breakfast downstairs frankly was sub par for a hotel of this standard.

A very short walk from the airport, very clean and in very good condition rooms were impeccable, buffet breakfast was very good lots of variety and you can make your own juice. Staff were friendly. Very happy definitely recommend. Not much around for food so uber eats would be a good idea, the inhouse dining was pretty good.

It was a great stay. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The room was better than expected, very clean and comfortable. The facilities were great with great dining options, roof top pool and gym. Carpark on site. Located minutes from the airport. I rate this hotel highly.
