Stammershalle Badehotel

I recently stayed at Stammershalle Badehotel on Bornholm and was impressed. The location is simply stunning, with beautiful views over the sea and a calm, relaxing atmosphere that makes it an ideal getaway. The restaurant is good, serving high-quality food in a charming setting. I only missed one thing—a proper espresso machine would make the experience even better! The hotel is also in the process of finishing a new spa and pool, which I think will really elevate the overall experience once complete. Even now, it’s a wonderful place to stay, and I can only imagine it will get better with these additions. Overall, Stammershalle is a lovely hotel in a truly beautiful location, and I look forward to returning.

Hotel: 5+/5|Restaurant: 2.5/5||The room was perfect, the reception and breakfast staff were extremely helpful, the breakfast spread was also amazing. The view is also breathtaking and there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel, which makes taking public transport to Gudhjem, Rønne, and Svaneke quite convenient:||Given how lovely our experience was until that point, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant on the last evening of our stay and to our surprise, that was a less than pleasant experience as the waitstaff seemed cold and frankly, almost reluctant to serve us. We had to wait for 20 minutes to even have our order and did not bring our dessert, despite it being a part of the menu we ordered. We only got the hint that dessert was not coming after they started cleaning up and getting ready to close. The saving grace was that the courses we actually got were nice. A bit of a pity given that the rest of the experience was stellar.

Hotel was really nice, went to the restaurant for a meal of the day(3 courses)|We where left alone for 20min when we got there, after we finally order, the food comes out extremely slow, 2 hours in we have been waiting for our desert for half an hour, so we decide to leave, a shame as the food was good.|It should not take 2 hours to serve a three course meal, the people getting the seven course meal, where done when we left, and they started at the same time as us.

This place is currently a total construction site, was very unpleasant stay due to the new building they are building. Digging machines and workers woke us up at 7am right outside our window. We were put in the annex even though this is not what we booked. Very average food at the restaurant. Don’t recommend.

Lovely caracterful old hotel refurbished to a very high standard in a superb location on the beautiful island of Bornholm.Rooms all seem to have a sea view including annexes, with private balconies. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast choice is huge and top quality. Dinner is a fine dining experience. A truly memorable place to stay.

Amazing experience. We had a golfing package along with gourmet dinner and everything was just great. Super kind staff, really good food, great golf and breathtaking views. We had two different suites looking out of the ocean, was worth it everyday. Can truly recommend!

We stayed for the weekend and had booked the gourmet package with a 2 course meal on Friday and a 7 course meal on Saturday. This place is quite unique and the food is above and beyond. We also joined the wine tasting event on Saturday where we tasted 8 different wines from their cellar. We started with Champagne from 1999 and went through a good collection of old and rare wines. Their cellar is a good reason alone for a stay. On Saturday we rented bikes and explored the nearby places. This place is highly recommended and I would have given them 6 stars if possible.

Fantastic hotel in every way. It was the 2nd time I've stayed there and this time I visited with my mom. It's exceedingly charming, the grounds and surrounding hiking trails and sea walks are stunning. The breakfast is spectacular! Everyone working there is very kind, thoughtful and customer focused. The room was beautiful and very relaxing. Lovely hotel, don't miss it.
