A beautiful location and a gorgeous old (main) Bornholm building dating back more than a hundred years. Very kind staff, quaint interior in the main building, a bit of a Danish design of the new rooms (in new wing) with rooms that possess an amazing sea view.
It felt like the place was in the middle of a major face lift and expansion of facilities, and a bit to go still.
The restaurant is good with local beer available, and either a set daily menu or tasting menus (4 or 7 courses). We did the set menu (2-3 courses), and apart from long waiting times and a bit slow (but charming when it did appear) service it was good. The dessert was excellent. The wine list was a bit on the expensive side, and by the glass was limited to only a few options. The breakfast menu changed from day to day, which was a nice touch.
The sauna is a bit of a downer, and difficult to get the lights on. Which is helped wonderfully by the charming staff that help. Also, charging available for e-vehicles, which seems quite normal for Bornholm.
