"For dinner, I had a brie, apple, and fig sandwich and a vegan chocolate protein shake from Stamp Proper Foods. I’d never eaten there before, but this was very good, and yes, get off my back — still no time for groceries."

Google
Possibly the best salmon pasta I’ve eaten in my entire life! They have sizable portions with a very competitive price- not to mention the flagrant and tender salmon + crunchy chocolate danish. Would recommend!

This place is super cozy, and I was blown away by their Tamales Rancheros. Absolutely the best breakfast tower I've ever had ❤️

I love Stamp, period. I work here during the day sometimes and am always thrilled when I stick around long enough to order a meal! One of the rare places on hillhurst with good food, reasonable prices, and zero pretension/wait for a table. Will miss it a ton when we move away from Los Feliz one day!

Google
We looked up breakfast near us and got really lucky with this place the tamales rancheras was not what I expected but it was super delicious. And they had the cutest high top facing a window. Can’t wait to come back the next time we visit LA.

Google
Their iced teas and waffles are absolutely fantastic! The teas are refreshing, perfectly sweetened, and come in a variety of unique flavors. The waffles are crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and served with the most delicious toppings. Pair that with their friendly and efficient staff who make the experience seamless—truly a five-star.

The restaurant was delightful and it was really nice chatting with Valerie. The place is exceedingly clean and warm and inviting. Our food was superb. I got the vegan tacos and the breakfast burrito since they serve bfast all day. The staff was friendly and warm. The food was delicious and they even gave me a free coffee for buying a bag of coffee from groundworks. Really liked the salsa for the burrito and the vegan tacos were unbelievably good. It's cozy sitting there. They have a water station with filtered water and pastries and some bottled drinks as well. I thought the lighting was a bit too bright but the tables and chairs were very comfy. It was nice to see some people enjoying their food and coffee while working on their laptops. They have solid wifi here.

Stamp is the best! I can always rely on delicious, fresh, and healthy food from Stamp. Anything with salmon fillet on it is incredible, they cook it very well. I appreciate the menu having extensive offers for many different dietary restrictions.

Google
It is a great food place here. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The food overall good but the portion sizes were extremely big and unexpected. It's probably just my opinion because I am a tourist from Australia which has smaller portion sizes. But overall, this place is pretty good

Yelp
Great menu, nice staff, comfortable casual vibe. Lots of vegan options. Love the lentil dishes.

Yelp
The service was so friendly and accommodating. I love the various vegan options they have here and I tried the chickpea sandwich and vegan burrito. Both were fabulous. I particularly loved the cashew butter that came with the burrito and it added a lovely sweet creaminess to the savory and well spiced burrito. The chickpea sandwich was also top notch and would highly recommend! The salad that came with it was equally amazing and had a pesto like flavor. I also got the carrot cake smoothie which tasted a bit off but they made another smoothie for us when my friend told them about that. The ambiance was lovely and very tranquil and had a cheery vibe to it.

Yelp
I come here for the avocado salad with tuna on top only. It's literally so good and hits the spot every time! Super quick and easy to order and pick up on the go. Not a fan of the coffee here it's super average and nothing special. I wish they had better coffee to make it a one stop shop.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food options and good atmosphere to sit and get work done. Nice staff too! Would recommend

Yelp
Food always fresh. Love their salmon, riso pesto & sandwich. Their poached eggs & French Toast are yummy, too (The Paris). Every week, pretty much, I get their bison burger . . . Yummy‼Excellent service by the OGs (they should know who they are) and the owner, Valerie, always take care of you. Wifi and a cozy spot most always available if I come at off-peak hours!

Yelp
I drove by Stamp Proper Foods for years before a friend introduced me to their food, and it's truly a neighborhood gem with casual indoor and outdoor seating. You also order at the counter, so it's a guaranteed nourishing quick bite if you're in a time crunch. The salmon tacos, featuring fresh guacamole and mango-cucumber salsa, are a must-try. Sooooo yummy and each bite reflects the kitchen's dedication to quality ingredients. Other menu highlights for me are the breakfast burrito, chicken tacos, and avocado toast. They serve delicious food all day and the menu has something for everyone. Their beverage selection is also solid (and a fantastic way to support local business if you're looking for a caffeine hit, especially given its close proximity to a widely-known coffee chain). The passion fruit jasmine iced tea is a personal favourite, too, if you're looking for something light and refreshing. Staff is super sweet and their genuine care for the food and vibe shines through. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this sweet lil' spot is worth trying in the heart of Los Feliz.

Yelp
I love finding new places to eat, especially when it comes to healthy food. The smoked salmon bagel for me was ok. It wasn't bad but I think it lacked something. They do have plenty of options that looked delicious as well so I'll give those a try next time! There is indoor & out door seating and plenty of space. I went in around 11 & it was not packed at all which was nice. They do offer valet parking for $8. When I arrived the parking spots were blocked by cones so I guess it's mandatory to pay the $8 unless you want to park in the street as the other parking spots are reserved for the bank

Yelp
In response to the person who replied to my review: It would have been so much friendlier for your employees to not have even put up the umbrellas in the first place and it would have been more friendly of this company to actually adhere with the ADA guidelines regarding sidewalks. Instead of owning up to the faults of Stamp, you decided to attempt to share the blame with other business in the area. If the other business' start having loud parties until 1 am, does this give you the right to do so as well? I suggest you focus on running your business properly and stop spending time copying the wrongdoings of other companies in your area. Regarding me talking to the employees about how obnoxiously slow the service was instead of writing the initial review, I didn't want to. It's as simple as that. That's part of why yelp exists, for people like me who would rather leave a review then deal with whatever reaction an employee may give. Instead of responding to this review with more immaturity, I suggest you take that time and figure out how you can better focus on how to better run Stamp. Your company is not based solely on the food you produce but the environment you create for your neighbors. 0/5 stars from me.

Yelp
Very good restaurant. Everything is fresh and you can feel the difference. There is option for everyone, even gluten free or vegan. Good welcome and vibe. Lot of choice of latte and organic coffee, and tea. I have found my new spot. Go there you won't be deseapointed.

Yelp
I had fun having brunch at this place. Food is good and pancakes are fluffy and buttery! Coffee is great as well. I look forward to my next visit and hopefully it'll be as great as my first time. I enjoyed my food overall!

Yelp
I only leave positive reviews on Yelp but the dismal service that I received yesterday (Sunday) during Labor Day holiday weekend warranted my first negative review. I came in with a group of friends at 7pm (closing time was at 8pm). While my beef burger with cheese was tasty, I was *shocked* by the passive aggressive nature of the employees. At 7:55pm, the employees proceeded to turn off all of the lights and clear the table while I was finishing up my meal. What baffled me is why Stamp didn't just choose to list their closing time for customers as 7:30pm so that the staff can actually close the restaurant by 8pm?! I just can't justify paying $28 for a burger with fries again served by blatantly disrespectful employees.

Mary L.

Yelp
Eaten here many time for lunch, always delicious, healthy, cozy, and most importantly, many vegan options! Lots of options for the non-veg-heads also...and wine! Nicest employees, love the rustic furniture. Come dine here, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
We always look for a great spot to eat before we head to a Hollywood Bowl concert. This place fit the profile as its not only close to the Hollywood Bowl, but also provides delicious food. One of my favorites is their breakfast burrito, which is organic scrambled eggs, antibiotic free turkey bacon, roasted potatoes, cotija cheese, homemade guacamole and black beans served in a whole wheat tortilla and comes with a choice of sour cream, homemade red salsa, or both. Another great option is their french toast, which is three pieces of toast Shaked in a vanilla and cinnamon custard made with almond milk and organic eggs and topped with fresh bananas and strawberries and maple syrup, sprinkled with powdered sugar. To wash down these deliscious items I would suggest the Stamp Proper Greens (GF)(V) smoothie which is spinach, banana, cucumber, fresh parsley, lemon juice, unfiltered apple juice. The flavors are refreshing with each sip. The place is spacious, and the location is great. The staff is friendly as they will answer any questions you have as well as make any food suggestions you might need. Parking is valet or if you can find parking in the adjacent street that works as well.

Yelp
Great food and very friendly staff. Lots of seating and patio. I finally found country potatoes that are well-cooked. A rare thing in LA.
google avatar

Gabriel R.

Yelp
Had to finally stop and try this place. So many gluten free and vegan options. Love that they have good spin on breakfast items. Moroccan Lentils Omelette are exceptional. I'd come here for that alone.

Yelp
Just had the worst take out experience tonight. I had the chicken sandwich with side salad. The salad was wilted and browning, that went in the trash. The bread on the sandwich was stale and the chicken was rubbery and tough. Such a disappointing poor quality meal. I won't be back.

Yelp
I will be updating the rating as I go with this place. First time here and all I felt like was a smoothie The flavor was great but it's consistency was super watery. I was expecting something a bit more colder especially during this hot weather. This was more like a natural juice blend. There is no ice so it just comes out as blended fruit Definitely needs more ice so that it can be actual smoothie However, the staff was rock solid and I really appreciated the quick service. One staff member came out and helped me find an outlet Another staff member helped explain the menu to me and offered a replacement on the smoothie after my comment saying "oh this is more just juice huh?" And he responded "ya. We can add more ice if you like? Or if you'd like another one ?" Which I though was kind and appreciated but I declined because I wanted to capture what it was at its true form ya know Anyways the rest of the show: This is also a writers little getaway. Plenty of tables with a few outlets. Outside seating and alcohol. Wine, beer, and mimosa which is cool if you want something more laid back and comfortable. Parking is a little tough with meter parking on the streets as your primary options. Aside from that this place is definitely one to come to and check out the rest of the I'll come back

Yelp
About one month ago I stopped by Stamp Proper Foods and sampled their water. Water is available self serve and small cups are available. The water is cool and adequate.

Yelp
Stamp. I love it. Staff is friendly, the vibe is great, and there's parking (valet & street). It's just a really cozy place to get something to drink, eat, or sit down with your laptop and do some work. Places like this are rare these days and deserve your business.

Yelp
Stamp makes the best gluten-free vegan pecan banana buckwheat pancakes. I have tried numerous recipes myself and I order vegan gluten-free pancakes any time I see them on a menu. But Stamp's are the best. I dream about these pancakes. I either eat here or get takeout from here at least once every time I am in Los Angeles. The staff is all really friendly and personable. They are agreeable about customizing things like leaving off syrup from pancakes or avocado from burritos. Dining companions have told me their breakfast burritos are excellent. I appreciate the emphasis on organics and varied dietary needs. I used to joke that their gendered bathrooms might require a degree in art history to decipher, but now they have non-gendered bathrooms and just have cute decor everywhere. Because of the coffeehouse vibe and varied table sizes and nice decor, it is comfortable to dine here, either alone or with friends, either indoors or out on the small patio. I feel comfortable here both dressed up or just rolled out of bed and scribbling in a notebook.

Brian Z.

Yelp
I had a great time at this venue! I especially enjoyed their food and smoothies. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!

Jeremy G.

Yelp
It took over half an hour to get our order when there was only a party of two ahead of us. The lentils of the lentil bowl were both extremely crunchy and burnt. The yolks of the poached eggs were cooked solid, and all the slices of toast were burnt. We had been there before and had a delicious meal. The staff was nice, but the cook was incompetent.

Vincent B.

Yelp
Excellent and healthy! I had the smoked salmon burrito, delicious. The whole menu looks great.

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden GEM! Fresh squeezed orange juice, best smoothies in town (vanilla, chocolate, LA PB&J, etc...) Don't skip the Moroccan lentils or the vegan tacos. I haven't gone through the entire menu but I hope to continue exploring the wonderful and healthy menu. Excellent staff, clean and healthy ingredients. Enjoy!

Yelp
Stamps Proper Foods is one of my go to locations for a quality and healthy meals in Los Feliz. As a Doctor eating well and being mindful of my diet can become a challenge on busy days, however with proper foods I know I can get a good and healthy meal and some fuel ( coffee) which supports my day! Make sure to enjoy a meal or some coffee!

Arlene G.

Yelp
Ordered a Norwegian bagel ,(delivery) and they didn't include the cream cheese. What's the point of a bagel then?

Jake F.

Yelp
Thank you, Stamp! You are the best and everyone is always so nice to me and my family. I don't leave Yelp reviews. I think this might be my first. I love Stamp so much that I've been moved to participate in social media in the year 2024. Deeply appreciate your existence!

Caroline Q.

Yelp
Came in for the first time the other day. I love how low-key Stamp is and the decor is on point. Can't believe I haven't stopped by before. The barista in the Niners hat made me a bomb cappuccino. He was super sweet while I figured out what I wanted to eat. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Went out to this great restaurant for breakfast with a friend. I had the penne pesto pasta, GF version, and my friend had the vegan enchiladas. I added an iced Chai tea with oat milk. The pasta was delicious and very filing allowing for a second meal later in the day. Open space with a great variety of food.

Savannah S.

Yelp
Wonderful place to get work done and great staff!! Coffee 10/10 always and good for a casual lunch spot. I often bring lunch meetings here. I recommend the... -grilled chicken sandwich -Cobb salad -any of the smoothies

Yelp
Way better options in the neighborhood. Sunday breakfast with my wife was going to be a great way to start my day. Unfortunately the food, service and ambience of stamp proper foods was terrible. My wife ordered us some pancakes and eggs and turkey bacon. Pancakes were dry, eggs were overcooked that they had no flavor. Turkey bacon was dry and tasted old. The restaurant has no theme. There's a surfboard and some pictures of famous people and a painting of Einstein? Makes no sense, the owners must not have good taste or style. The location has lots of people and potential but seems like the owners have no taste. The menu is very large which can be good but a large menu means all the food is made fast and without precision. Most places have a short menu so the cooks can really put time and focus on the dishes but with a large menu, they are doing breakfast all day and regular food at the same time. No wonder the food was bad. Service was bad. Had to wait so long for my coffee. They forgot to give me it and I had to ask for it once the food came. Better breakfast at Home the restaurant down the street or if you want faster service then just go to Starbucks. Good luck.

Yelp
Haven't eaten here in a few years and decided to give it a go again as I'm trying to eat more healthy foods. I ordered the mole omelet made with white quinoa and black beans, Mexican cheese, all topped over with homemade mole sauce and I chose the breakfast potatoes as my side. The dish comes with toast with butter and jam. First, I'd like to say how nice the people who serve you are and the restaurant is clean and appealing enough to the eyes. As is the food, what they bring me looks quite good on the plate and on the table. The mole is a deep reddish brown and the avocado does look fresh. I'm pleased visually and have high hopes... First bite and I realize this will be a healthy meal but not one that makes me dance in my seat. It's pretty good. But not very good. The mole sauce has a nice consistency but not much aroma and really no oomph to it. I'm disappointed that the hot sauce is Chalula out of little packets and there is no green - or even red - Tobasco. No homemade hot sauce or salsas. It's a filling meal though and the white quinoa is a nice texture so that's good. The potatoes constitute a small bowl and are a kind enough amount, but ultimately? A slippery affair and, again, not much flavor. In fact, the first bite and I instantly had the thought, "Tuna!" Ew. It tasted like these were cooked on a blacktop right after some fish. Subsequent bites, that disappears completely but these do not wow either. Maybe they leave them lightly seasoned allowing for you to do so at the table but, again, the nice fresh-grind pepper grinder you find at most restaurants and pink Himalayan or Celtic salt you'd expect at a nice health conscious restaurant like this? Not to be found. More cheapo packets you pick up yourself at a station. I like breakfast potatoes a little crisped on the edges and certainly seasoned and served w some herbs maybe. These lack. The toast is properly cooked and served with a basic red jam but the butter? It's looking old and stale. It's serviceable and fine. So that's all she wrote. Overall, I just think my meal was not on point as the kitchen crew were laughing and it was later in the day... 2:30 pm. I can tell this should and could be a four star meal but just missed being good-good in the small details today. I'll try it again soon though.

Yelp
My fave spot in Los Feliz! I work across the street and come here all the time for the good energy, kind and lovely employees and delicious food! Tom (head chef) caught me whispering sweet nothings to my moroccan lentils and eggs. I whispered, "you're so good" Shoutout to Tom and Mario for their culinary excellence! Yum Yum Yummiest time
google avatar

Laurin H.

Yelp
Great food! I got the chicken tacos and my mom got the breakfast burrito. The chicken tacos were seasoned perfectly and tasted super fresh. I love the vegan ranch dressing they used on it! I love how accommodating and knowledgeable they are about top allergens. I'm eating gluten and dairy free, so it was great to have the menu label the items. My favorite part was definitely the brownie and banana bread which were both vegan and gluten free! They were delicious and I would definitely come back for them. The prices are a bit expensive, but the food is great and I'm super glad I got to try this place out. Service was good but not the best. It definitely had more of a study, work, hang out type of vibe. I will be back!

Yelp
Poor quality lettuce + cold, bland chicken overall crappy salad that cost $25 not sure why this place is busy not a fan of their food
google avatar

Pamela G.

Yelp
This place is delicious and amazing! I ordered Uber eats and they forgot the chicken breast I called and the owner manager drove the chicken breast and a smoothie I offered to pay for. She refused to take the money for the smoothie and personally apologised for the chicken breast missing. Who does that in 2023 and personally delivers the food missed. The avocado mash the zucchini linguini the avocado brownie and smoothies are amazing !!

Dani P.

Yelp
Food is ok but my question is why is everyone always in the worst mood in here? From the minute you walk in there's scowls all around.
google avatar

Lala Q.

Yelp
The service was friendly, the decor is tacky (a la fake Banksy), and the food was soooooo bland I couldn't believe it. The menu with INFINITE options (breakfast, shakes, salmon pasta uhhhh?!) should have been my red flag-Bar Rescue-level warning, but I was like I'll give it a shot! The avocado toast *shudder the thought* Two thin pieces of pumpernickel(or something?) bread that was soft and soggy, the most bland avocado in the US of A, wet chopped tomatoes on top!?!?, and then micro greens because I guess that's what a Google image of avocado toast looks like... My boo "ate" the breakfast burrito and had similar issues, flavorless. I don't think they have ever heard of seasoning in this joint :/ . I understand being. health conscious and shying away from salt but how about idk ANYTHING?! Neither one of us could finish our meals they were that bad. And they're not cheap! Go to Cafe Los Feliz across the street for some food with flavor. Stamp is one of those restaurants that thinks it's being artisanal when it's just SO boring. I'm bummed cuz I wanted a new go to spot. :(
google avatar

Jeffy C.

Yelp
2nd time here, first time was a few years ago pre Covid days and I'm glad it's still here The food is always good, tried something different this time and it's sooo yummy
google avatar

Jess V.

Yelp
Got the chocolate vegan shake which was good. The vegan nachos and chickpea sandwich. The later two were not that great. Sandwich was super dry and the nachos we got the stamp version which was supposed to have black bean mash. They forgot to add the mash and brought a side of it over much later. To apologize they gave us a small cake which was also super dry. Ambiance is chill- good place to do some work
google avatar

John D.

Yelp
Cool, hipstery eatery just a touch south of Griffith Park. While not a dedicated Veg-Head restaurant as Yelp implies, Stamp offers up a nice selection of vegan and vegetarian-friendly menu items, as well as some traditional protein offerings. I ordered the Vegan Chickpea Sandwich ($12.50) that comes with one side, and I opted for the spinach quinoa. The quinoa was quite bland and dry, but had a nice earthy flavor. My gf got the jalapeño slaw for her side and it was 10x better; fresh, vibrant and a nice amount of heat to round it out. Next time I'm getting that instead. As for the sandwich, I initially thought it would be a burger of some type, but turns out it was more of a creamy spread--not that I'm complaining, as it was still quite good. The buckwheat bread was soft, but sturdy enough to hold in the creamy spread and had a delicious hearty flavor. Overall I like this place and would make it part of my rotation if I worked/lived in the area. Highly recommended. PRO TIP: ***AVOID*** the parking lot, as they have valets?! Seriously wtf is that about??? Only in La-La Land, I suppose. With that said I was able to snag free street parking with pretty minimal effort.

Yelp
Had business in Hollywood and a quick google search for healthy/paleo eats brought back Stamp Proper Foods in charming Los Feliz. Casual vibe like an independent coffee shop with An out of view kitchen - feeling comfortable from the get go. Menu promising organic everything, anti-biotic free meats and vegan and vegetarian options; all good. Orders in we waited a full half hour before getting our food. The waiter made no comment or apologies even though the place had only a sprinkle of dine in customers ( though granted several take outs). The kale Cobb was ok; fresh, plentiful with a tart lemon vinaigrette. it could have been better with marinated or massaged kale and the chicken overly hard while the burger was deemed excellent by the wife - if a bit over-salted. She also enjoyed a GF chocolate cookie not made on premises while the in house brownie was too gooey. While we can't see a real reason to return unless finding ourselves in the immediate area again, the breakfast menu served all day, looked intriguing especially the mole omelette- but in the meantime 4 stars just because Stamp appears to really be trying a healthful & tasty approach and theres just so little of that around in a medium price range. And yet they really need to try and do better than a half hour for a burger & salad - nor does a server's apology ever hurt!

Yelp
Cute place in Los Feliz but I get a little overpriced for what I received. The banana pancakes were good, not great. Would I come back? Maybe if in the neighborhood and I can't get into All Time
google avatar

Salma B.

Yelp
Super cute place! Off the main road in Los Feliz this place has breakfast and lunch options. There's plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and a lot of items can be made vegan or vegetarian. You order ahead at the counter and your food is brought out to you. There's outdoor seating in front and along the side. The vegan chilaquiles had a nice mild flavor, the burrito was packed with filling, and the taco salad had a lot of toppings as well. The portions are pretty big. We usually can finish all our food but we were full with still some left. Lots of coffee and tea choices and to go snacks if you're in a rush. There's amole street parking and a lot shared with Messhall. This is a great place to stop at for breakfast, brunch, or lunch after a hike at Griffith Park.

Yelp
We were looking for lunch and decided to check out this place. I ended up ordering the Avocado Sandwich with coleslaw. The sandwich comes with pesto and hummus served on buckwheat. It was delicious. The coleslaw was tasty and refreshing. I was very impressed and satisfied with my meal. My boyfriend's meal was good but not as good as mine. I tried his quinoa side and it was kind of bland. Service was fast especially ordering at the counter. The line went fast. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Yelp
If Bukowski was still alive he'd be hanging out here writing his memoirs and thoughts down, literally a guy looks just like him is hanging out writing in his journal it's the cutest thing. Avocado toast is the best too and great hiking if you just walk up the street and keep walking for 9 miles you'll get to the Hollywood sign just sayin' . Sincerely, Your hippie

Yelp
My office ordered this for the first time today. Collectively, we were all disappointed. Each item was sub par and basic, very small portions for the price we paid, and one vegan meal had CHICKEN in it. Multiple side items were missing as well. The food was barely warm, and had no flavor.

Actress E.

Yelp
Amazing healthy food. Everything is just perfect. Highly recommend My favorite is bowllygood. Enjoy
