Stamps Hostel in Chiang Mai was one of the best hostel experiences we’ve had. It’s a super social place with a really welcoming vibe, perfect if you’re looking to meet other travelers.
The dorms were clean and thoughtfully designed. Each bed is in a small private cubicle with a curtain, a little nightstand, and a reading light, so you still have your own space even in a shared room. There’s also a large locker under the bed that easily fits a full backpack, which made us feel safe leaving our belongings.
We stayed in a 6-bed dorm with good air conditioning (I’d definitely recommend this over the 8-bed dorms, which don’t have AC). The facilities were great too: free filtered water to refill your bottle, and even if you arrive early before check-in, you can already take a shower and relax on the lounge sofas.
What really made this hostel special was the atmosphere and the staff. They were incredibly friendly and social, always happy to chat or help out. Every evening there were fun events like a pub quiz or group outings to the party street. It was the perfect balance between chill and fun.
Overall, we had an amazing time here and would definitely recommend Stamps Hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Go for the 6-bed dorm if you want the best experience!
