Very nice setting and the staff are great. The coffee is good but not quite up to the high standard of third wave coffee available in Munich. I’d say Man v has the edge for sure.

Super nice place in Schwabing! I loved the coffee and the guy who attended me was very friendly. I ordered a Latte with oat milk, he forgot and prepared it with cow milk but he realized the second he gave me the coffee. And even though I said I could have it, he made another perfect Late with oat milk. I‘ll definitely come back!

I'm a coffee hunter; I have no qualms about it. This place rocked my world. I wasn't expecting much when first approaching, as it looked like a small shop (which it is) but the closer I was the more fun this place excuded. The staff was warm and welcoming. The desserts looked amazing just like the other reviews showed, and they had a very nice espresso machine - one I've seen used to pull some amazing shots. My expectations were high and I'm happy to say they met them. I was most surprised by the cake. It was a fruit based cake with shredded coconut on top; absolutely amazing. The drink was equally exceptional. I've already told the locals I know there to give this place a shot. I believe it's the only one in this area of the city that is of this caliber. Lastly, they speak English for tourists that happen to stop in.

Cosy cafe hidden within a market area. Quite a hipster and young vibe! Great coffee and enjoyed the hospitality from the barista. Free wifi if you ask for the password! Super friendly staff so no need to hesitate or be shy!

If you want one of the Best cup of coffee (Drip coffee) in Munich , this is the right place. Lovely couple serving thier on roasted coffee beans. The price is fair for buying coffee beans. The price for a cup of coffee using Kalita was not cheap but it is worth it. Keep it up the good work.

Had a delicious Brailian natural on batch that paired super well with the gluten free buttered pretzel I got from Torten-Sternchen. Sitting out on the patio, watching the market goers, sipping on a delicious brew recommended by the friendly staff. Perfect.

Yelp
Standl 20 is a hipster coffee joint located in the Elizabethmrkt. We dropped in on a Thursday afternoon (around 3:30pm) and there was a continuous stream of people coming in for a drink. It's small inside with only two baristas slinging drinks. The vibes are chill and there's plenty of seating outside. The music is great; surprised they were playing some Jurassic 5. There's a bunch of coffee and tea options (prices ranged from €1,90 to €3,80) along with a few specials. There's also a couple of pastries but we didn't see any (probably were sold out). If you come often, you can get a loyalty card. Also saw someone buy a bag of coffee beans for under €10,00. - Flat white (€3,60) - hard to beat an Australian flat white but this was down surprisingly well. Smooth and balanced. Chill spot to grab a coffee or two.

Yelp
I heard about this place through an Australian friend in Munich and, she was raving about this place. I now know why, they have the Aussie flat white on the menu here. A recent hipster discovery, that has been served in cafes around Australia for the last 20 odd years and now, making its way to locations around US and Europe :-) It's a flat white and not that exciting really :-)) I used to drink it once in a while when I lived in Australia...punkt ;-)) The coffee here is good albeit mine was luke warm, something I just don't like about coffee. I don't need it to be boiling hot but a cappuccino needs to be warm enough not to be able to drink it in one gulp and, this one was unfortunately was not one of those :-( The place is nice with all the hipster accessories like fresh filtered coffee in individual bodum's and drip coffee etc ;-)) They also have a range of exotic teas and bit of food to round it all out. They also sell JB coffee here, which I understand, is a good local roaster. The staff lacked the warmth and just did not engage you in any way shape or form. Ok they were busy but a smile will often do :-) For me small local business is more than just the product, it's also about the personal nature of the place. We have that plenty in our local area. I will give this another go and see. Knowing the area well, my local coffee shop is way better and, there is no shortage of really nice coffee shops with a smile in our neighborhood ;-))

Yelp
Nice coffee shop with a good selection of brewing methods (aeropress, etc.) and cold brews as well. I just had an espresso which was really good and intense in flavor.

Yelp
Good espresso, good pastries, good location, good price, nice place to sit, and great staff. What's not to like? This is probably the only really good espresso we had in Munich, (though, to be fair, we missed some of the other places we wanted to go to; we didn't know that even coffee shops were closed on Sundays). Seems like the kind of place you could go to numerous times a week.

Yelp
It really depends what your looking for. Are u looking for a coffee a strong and deep taste, it might be the right place but just because of the coffee. The place itself and the two baristas serving are below average. Music was way to loud and the two people working were extremely fake friendly. Also don't count on the 10% off, they had no idea about that and wouldn't let it count. So take it to go but don't expect to have an enjoyable stay.

Yelp
Best coffee we've had in Munich. And they were so lovely to our toddler. And of course as Australians, we appreciated the flat whites on the menu!

Yelp
Located among an archipelago of stand-alone units in Elizabethmarkt, this welcoming coffee spot is fitted with a substantial awning to shelter an outdoor resting place for 4-season reflection. Standl 20 comes alive on Saturdays when the market is in full swing.

Yelp
Purely speaking about the coffee, I give this place a 5. Cappuccino, iced coffee, whatever, it's all so gooood! And of course the setting in the market is always fun! Nice staff as well.
