Google
A true Gem for us when visiting Stanley. Their coffee is organic and delicious! One of the best lattes I’ve had in a very long time. They have gluten free bread and several gluten free baked treats available for those of us with allergies. For those without allergies, wow, those baked goods look AMAZING! You can even get a custom cake made here. We had a vegan, gluten free chocolate cheesecake made to celebrate a birthday. It had a nut crust and the flavor was superb! When we ate in, I got the we have the beets breakfast, it was fresh, felt healthy and was delicious. My husband had the eggs Benedict and liked his as well. Definitely stop in for some good bites and even better service. The staff here is exceptional. We loved everyone we interacted with. Also the water is great, super cold and great to fill your bottle with.

Google
This place ruined other breakfast restaurants for me. It’s so delicious. The sweet potato breakfast burrito is my absolute favorite. You can also get it in a bowl. I also tried the We Got the Beet and it was really yummy! I ordered it as a half size with a sourdough pancake and it was a delicious breakfast! Over July 4th it was a bit hectic with about a 30 min line out the door. But the wait once you ordered wasn’t too long and getting a table was easy. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
We stopped by Stanley Baking Company on a Friday morning around 9am, and the place was packed — the line inside was about 20 people deep. Since we didn’t have time to sit down for a full meal, we grabbed pastries, coffee, and juice from the walk-up window instead. The service was impressively fast. The scone — absolutely outstanding!

Google
Stanley Baking Co is the perfect compliment to the small town of Stanley. We walked over for breakfast, stood in line to order, grabbed our silverware, found seats at a booth, and the made to order food came pretty fast. And it looked amazing, and was delicious! Between the five of us we ordered two versions of the classic, French toast, Bakery granola, and a breakfast sandwich. All were tasty and so good. The staff were all friendly, polite, and helpful. The front cabinet was filled with delicious looking pastries and other delicious goodies, would definitely want to try one of those next time.

Google
Holy moly what a great breakfast! The breakfast burrito as bowl was such a tasty gluten free option. My husband had the oatmeal pancakes and loved them. So good we came back second day. Great coffee, too.

Google
Great little Bakery, always busy. Everything is delicious! I had the Crag, a meatloaf sandwich, and eggs benedict with sweet potatoes on different days, of course. I tried the scones one day, they were absolutely delicious

Google
As a connoisseur of breakfast places, this one RULES. It's a cute place in a beautiful town, first of all, and then the food is actually amazing. I've been lucky enough to stop here twice (I'd be here WAYY too much if I lived nearby), and I was more than satisfied both times. The service is impressively fast despite how busy they are, and the coffee is pretty reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend a stop here to anyone passing through Stanley.

Google
This is our second time to visit Stanley & this is our favorite place to eat of all the places we have been in Idaho. When eating here, the people make you feel like you live in town even if you are only here for 2 days. My favorite is the granola breakfast bowl with a side sourdough pancake covered in their homemade jam & I am sad every time it is finished. Thank you Stanley Baking Company & staff for being the best 2 different summer visits!

Yelp
To anyone who gave less than 5stars, F* YOU! Everything about this place is amazing, food, staff, restaurant. Everything, especially the people working there. I could do without a few of the less than 5star folks as it does get crowded, especially in the summers. As for food, if you're a first timer you gotta try a scone. Cinna rolls and Ginger Cookies are bomb too. One of the best items on the menu is just toast. Why you ask? The jam, simply awesome. Breakfast burrito is pretty amaze too. The only "coffee" I had not tried is the bug coffee (just take that sh!t off the menu please). Mayan Mocha or Shot in the Dark is the way to go. This is the highlight of my day. Sad times are approaching though, as they are seasonal and close in the winters.

Yelp
Made a coffee stop on our way out of town and ended up staying for a snack! First, this is the place to be, when we arrived there was a line out the door... but then I noticed there was an express lane. Giving people an option of dining in and ordering from a food menu or ordering a beverage / bakery item, skipping the line. Genius! I ordered a Caramel Macchiato with Almond Milk, so delicious and creamy. The barista perfected the sweetness level too (I like mine semi sweet). My partner ordered the Idaho Kombucha, making me question if I wanted to double fist with my coffee and his choice. They have an extensive bakery menu, although they do run out quick, due to demand. We had to get a cinnamon roll of course, it was *chefs kiss.* It was so good, I dug in before I remembered to take a photo! Large enough to share between two, unless you're up for the challenge. The atmosphere was lively and cozy, with cabin vibes. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Loved this place! Came here a few times over the weekend. Always packed. We tried the pancakes, biscuits, and gravy and the burritos! We even shared a huge cinnamon roll! We loved it all!

Yelp
Ok, I admit it. I came here for breakfast each of the three days I was in Stanley. Why? Why not! Great coffee. Friendly faces. A variety of choices. The oatmeal pancakes were awesome. The Crag Sandwich with grass fed beef sausage and cheddar was very filling. If I lived here, I would definitely be a regular.

Yelp
I don't want to tell anyone about this place. But that wouldn't be cool. The Bakery is the bomb. It's everything and more than you want in a local brunch spot. The line is long for a reason, but it goes quickly and it's worth every tiny foot shuffle towards the register. Just please don't take a table before ordering as seating is limited. Order and then find a table. It's the right thing to do.
google avatar

Yelp
We make the drive up to Stanley from Hailey 3-4 times a year just to eat at Stanley Baking Co. It's an awesome combination of healthy and yummy with a splash of hippie coolness on the side. The views from the outside deck are unbelievable and the servers are obviously very happy in their jobs. Best food for miles around!
google avatar

Natalie R.

Yelp
In a town with very few choices, these guys could get away with a far inferior product. But they don't. There will be a line. It will move quickly. Your food will arrive sooner than you imagined possible. And it will be delicious. The coffee is hot, a good solid roast. Service is prompt and pleasant. There's a grab and go window for pastries. Enjoy
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
long line but worth the wait. biscuits and gravy with crunchy hashbrowns. Oatmeal or sourdough pancakes with burritos

Yelp
Delicious food! Great service. Sat outside on a gorgeous sunny day. Practically perfect in every way.

Yelp
"We Got the Beet" was awesome!! Crag Sandwich was just ok - mostly bread. They were happy to put our to go orders in our personal Tupperwares we brought - save the earth! Love that they have housemade sauerkraut!

Yelp
Hubby and I were on our first vacation without kids after 24 years, decided a pre-hiking breakfast -- or at least coffee and a treat -- was in order and we found this sweet little treasure of a place! Great menu, lots of yummy choices, and wonderful gluten free options! If we're ever in the area again I know where I'm eating!
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
Delicious! A quaint bakery with plenty of seating and super friendly staff. I ordered a special item for the day and it did not disappoint, nor did the dishes the rest of my table ordered! The service was surprisingly fast for how busy they always seem to be and it was a great place to stop in on our way out of town. My only complaint is that I wish they had a bigger menu!
google avatar

Yelp
What more could you ask for in small cozy town with big mountain feels?! This yummy bakery, that is! It's the cherry on top to a perfect mountain getaway. Come here to fuel up with all the coffee and pastries your heart desires. Not pictured are the cinnamon rolls and scones I devoured. Both equally amazing but those cinnamon rolls call my name and the French toast (pictured) pulls my heart strings. This is truly a Stanley gem and no wonder folks flock to this place, it's the lifeline for your caffeine and breakfast fix. Check out the express window- great for anyone who wants to grab and go! Otherwise, line does tend to go out the door but fear not it moves quick and shouldn't have to wait too long for your delicious meal. Enjoy, my mountain loving friends!

Yelp
On our way for another summer visit to Stanley Baking, the world's best breakfast spot in the world's best mountain vacation spot! Get those oatmeal pancakes ready for a crew of 6 coming at the end of July!!!

Yelp
To say that this place makes Stanley special would be an understatement. This establishment is the foundation of food is love. Stanley represents this mantra. I don't know if this place was the originator of the sourdough that is circulating around Stanley, but Stanley knows how to bread. Period end of conversation. Specifically sourdough bread. Almost everything that's made here in the bakery is made with sourdough and you can taste the excellence in the starter. Whomever is running their bakery must've practiced for years to make the perfect sourdough, because it shows. That individual also must've gone around every other restaurant and showed everybody else how to make the perfect sourdough. Stanley should be called Stanley Dough. Their dough deserves a spot among the bread gods. Their service, their breakfast sandwiches, their sourdough pancakes, their ambience, their creativity, their whimsical, fun dining room, will leave you smiling all day. This is a special place. You order at the register and then once you've paid, you see yourself. I suggest getting there early in the morning if you are there during a busy season because otherwise, you may be waiting a while for a table. We went on a Tuesday morning in late September during off season and it was really busy. We found a table because the tables turned over relatively quickly but it was supposed to be a quiet morning. This place is booming. It's clearly very popular. And for good reason. It's mind-bogglingly good. The ingredients hello fresh I absolutely love the creative spin on a vegetarian breakfast with the option to add a poached egg. The beet breakfast sandwich is so refreshing and unique. If anything, i recommend coming to Stanley just to try this place, if not to enjoy the stunning scenery surrounding it, and hikes in the sawtooth mountains.

Yelp
Busy place! It was packed at breakfast so we got cinnamon and pecan rolls and took them back to our cabin. Both rolls were awesome! We decided to try again at lunch and got a place to sit this time! I got the Reuben and my husband got the turkey and cranberry sandwich. We ended up sharing them both with the consensus that the turkey was good but the Reuben took top honors. This is definitely a stop to make when in the area!
google avatar

Erin J.

Yelp
Cinnamon roll-ok. Biscuits and gravy-ok. Sourdough pancakes-incredible. I grew up eating these types of pancakes and they were just as I remembered as a kid. They were made to perfection. Get the pancakes if you come here. So dang good!!
google avatar

Yelp
Yep, another visit and yet another amazing meal. We all enjoyed an awesome meal. I ordered the miga again, sauce made daily and so delicious. Love this place. Great service and great tasty food. Don't miss this Gem in the heart of Stanley. Enjoy.

Yelp
Excellent funky restaurant. Long lines but moved smoothly. Had an outdoor window for drinks and pastries. Breakfast was generous portions and very delicious. We will definitely stop to eat there again
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite place in RedFish Lake Lodge and Stanley Idaho area. Food is amazing! We ate there every single day we were in the area. Do try the poached eggs on quinoa cakes with grilled veggies for breakfast or lunch. Oatmeal pancakes are delicious. Loved the coffee too. Worth the wait in line.
google avatar

Tien D.

Yelp
This is a very popular restaurant in Stanley. Lines get pretty long if you are looking to dine in, but if you just want pastries there is a window to order from. I arrived at opening hoping to beat the lines and fresh baked goods. I wanted a baked good assuming that since they are called Stanley Baking....their baked goods would be stellar. Unfortunately the pastries were tough. They looked a lot better than they tasted. Maybe their meal options are better.
google avatar

Troy D.

Yelp
Great visit on a Saturday morning. We had coffee and scones with a cinnamon roll on the side to go. Everything was homemade with that fresh made flavor. We had to endure a line of 8 people in front of us, but it's more than worth it. Don't be discouraged if it's crowded, some of the people are likely sitting outside on the deck. Another piece of the Stanley scene you shouldn't miss out on. Cheers amigos!
google avatar

Art G.

Yelp
Excellent as always! Great pancakes and special omelette. Can't believe it was foggy on the morning we drove up from down south. Sorry I didn't have room for a cookie this time.
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute diner in Stanley with GREAT coffee and baked goods. Plenty of vegetarian and meat dishes. We had the Happy Hippo sandwich. Delish!

Yelp
Family came for yet another amazing breakfast at Stanley baking. It's such a tradition that my gf's sister owns a shirt. We sat outside and were able to have our Husky pup at the table. The staff confirmed that area was dog-friendly. Everyone's meals were delicious and so plentiful that some of us couldn't finish. I had the biscuits and gravy again. The half size is plenty for me. Biscuits are definitely fresh and the gravy tasted homemade. I also had the Chai latte with fat free milk. They have numerous milk alternatives so I had lots to choose from. Also pictured was my girlfriend's cheeky ;) quinoa breakfast with seasonal roasted vegetables. She loved it all. They also offered gluten free toast as an option which was super cool. She also had the golden latte without sweetener and she added honey to it for a great tasting drink. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming. We visited on a Friday, late morning, in September and had only a 10 minutes or so wait in line. Staff were mixed with their mask wearing which I was ok with. The little touches like the rusted fork and knife on the gate, the wood details, non-uniform mugs, unique furniture and chalk menus all lend itself to a rustic, quintessential experience.

Yelp
Super cute bakery in town. Had vegan options. We enjoyed the veggie scramble. Our daughter enjoyed pancakes. Coffee was excellent! We were there on opening day so it was all the locals, but not too busy. Enjoyed the vibe here, would return when back in the area.
google avatar

Nay M.

Yelp
Quaint business and friendly staff. Coffee good, baked goods fresh. Very popular everyday I was in the area.
google avatar

Jana H.

Yelp
Finally got to eat here! We usually come to Stanley at the end of October and this place is closed for the season by then so we were happy to eat here following the Sawtooth Relay Race. I had the beet patty with some strange bread and tofu. It was fresh and I enjoyed the dish but would've preferred normal bread. Our kids had the turkey/grilled cheese sandwich and pancakes- both enjoyed the food. Husband had the breakfast burrito. They were out of baked goods around 1pm when we got there. No soda water on tap. Service was good, food was fresh.
google avatar

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Came here for a quick takeout breakfast. Got raspberry almond coffee cake and a couple energy bars to go. The coffee cake was moist and flavorful. The energy bars were pretty small for the price. Also got a caprese crossaint which was flaky and fresh. Service was kinda slow but the baked goods were delish. Indoor dining was closed and all the staff wore masks.
google avatar

Amanda A.

Yelp
We came here on a Wednesday morning and it was fairly busy, which we expected based on people raving about this place and the rainy weather. The cinnamon roll was dense with a hint of lemon. I thought it was dry and if it were fluffier it may have been better. The biscuits and gravy were a large serving and really delicious!
google avatar

Yelp
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place! I'm going to forever make this a stop along the way whenever I'm in the area. It's located in a tiny town in between the BOISE national forest and Sun Valley. The drive between the two is incredible and totally worth going the "long way" especially when there's a super cute breakfast joint like this half way through. A wonderful casual ambiance, where you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. There were so many awesome healthy and organic options to choose from, I ended up just getting the basic breakfast due to inability to decide. However, the basic breakfast was amazing!! Two eggs, bacon, smashed potatoes, and toast with home made raspberry jam. Just perfect! I was able to snag a table on the patio where I got a nice sunrise view and the cool mountain air. I'm obsessed. The bathrooms are really cute too, and I was happy they were after a few days of camping in the wilderness. I couldn't resist getting a blueberry scone to go for the rest of my road trip. Fresh and delicious.

Joe F.

Yelp
Had a cinnamon roll, Crag sandwich, chai tea & a latte. Excellent. Good service. Clientele of earthy tourists. Best breakfast spot!
google avatar

Patrick H.

Yelp
It's worth the drive from wherever you are to Stanley Baking. The dining room was closed but they had plenty of outside tables. The cinnamon roll was delicious and the Migas breakfast dish was kind of a southwestern scramble with eggs, chiles, tortillas chips and a great enchilada sauce on top.
google avatar

Rainbow T.

Yelp
Friendly and attentive staff. Amazing selection of baked goods and breakfast options. Oatmeal bowl and Migas exceeded expectations. Cinnamon rolls and blackberry scones were devoured each day we eat there. Wish I had ordered some to go so I could enjoy for a few more days. Coffee is bottomless, always a plus. Definitely plan to stop here each day you're in town.
google avatar

Yelp
If you're planning a big hike and need to energize with a solid breakfast, this is the place to do it! Quick, friendly service in the morning rush with a cute, cozy, and warm dining area. We got the breakfast burrito, we got the beet, a sourdough pancake, and a side of potatoes. Everything was fantastic! The pancake was perfectly fluffy and had yummy crispy edges. The potatoes were full of flavor and also had nice, crispy edges. The beet veggie patty was delicious and paired so well with the avocado, poached egg, and amazing almond crepe. The burrito with the yams, eggs, and black beans was amazing! Based on how much we loved everything, I'm sure you can't go wrong with anything you choose.

Emma B.

Yelp
This little place in the middle of nowhere was recommended to us by friend. We are so glad we stopped by! The ambiance is old Wild West cabin with friendly welcoming smiles. The menu offers huge variety of delicious options - vegetarian and meaty. Also, baked goods are freshly made daily. Highly recommend - everything we had was delicious!!

Ginny P.

Yelp
What a fun town! This old west style bakery has all of the modern conveniences.
google avatar

Gillian B.

Yelp
Great find. They do have espresso drinks. For all my latte drinkers out there. Baked goods are great and menu is surprisingly elevated for the area. Veggie sausage, lots of vegetable options, migas, smashed potatoes were killer
google avatar

Blake C.

Yelp
Cool, cozy little spot to have coffee, some baked goods, or a hot breakfast. The massive chocolate chip cookies were amazing. The coffee was great too.
google avatar

Nettifer W.

Yelp
I think I might have built this up too big in my mind. But nothing really blew me away. Everything was just what you expected. We got the sour dough pancakes and they were good. Meatloaf sandwich- dry. We added our own medium egg to make it better. The cinnamon rolls and pecan rolls were okay. French toast just fine. We had them heat them up for us to have them warm. It was an okay place with lots of people
google avatar

Chris K.

Yelp
We had breakfast here twice, it was a lively and fun place to hang out. Due to COVID, the inside is closed, but there are many tables outside. Arrive early, they sell out of some of their excellent scratch made baked goods. That's where they made their reputation, but the breakfast items were also very good. Pancakes were outstanding. Be sure to ask for maple syrup. Scones...excellent. Migas and Basque scramble were both very good. Coffee can take a while if they are super busy, but it's worth the wait. It's hard to believe there is something this good in this remote of a place.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Oh my god, this place is amazing! Our taste buds and our bellies are very happy after our breakfast. I ordered the classic breakfast with eggs over hard, veggie sausage, smashed potatoes, and multigrain toast. Everything in my meal was cooked to perfection. My partner ordered the oatmeal pancakes with maple syrup, bacon, and eggs over hard. These were some of the best pancakes both of us have ever tasted. I would highly recommend this spot. The line was looooong; now we know why!

Em M.

Yelp
Wow! The scones are amazing. Blackberry is highly recommended, the oatmeal is packed with fruit and tea selection is robust. The kombucha flavors were pretty unique but subtle as well.
google avatar

CJ H.

Yelp
Worth the wait! We finally made it inside for breakfast (on Memorial Day no less). I had the Potato Mountain with gluten free bread - smashed potatoes, 2 poached eggs (cooked to perfection), cheddar and ham with gf bread. It was delicious and the gf bread's taste and texture was superb. Our service was great considering how very busy it was, and after I mentioned I had never been there, the woman who took our order patiently explained where to get our water and the service procedures. I wish the weather would have cooperated so we could have eaten outside where there was less noise, but it will be nice in the summer. I also hope they change the policy to allow dogs on the deck outside.

Sarah D.

Yelp
The best!!! Oatmeal pancakes are AMAZING! Great coffee!!! All baked goods are awesome!
google avatar

Caileigh A.

Yelp
The cinnamon rolls are regularly mentioned in the reviews, but the real winner here is the sourdough pancakes. We thought the cinnamon rolls was fairly dry but the pancakes were so airy and light with great flavor. Absolutely delicious! We also ordered the Turkey Gobbler sandwich and enjoyed it as a late lunch for our drive back to Ketchum.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Wow, the food is really good. The oatmeal pancakes and the French toast hits the spot. The is a must go if in the area. They are closed for half the year, but open in the summer. The line can get crazy so go before 9am. I went three mornings in a row, but the third the line was too long to get in. If I am ever back in Stanley I will be at the bakery!
google avatar

Scott P.

Yelp
Its the simple things that are hard! A perfectly cooked fried egg! YEP an EGG people, so simple yet its hard to do. Slightly crispy on the edge but not enough to not easily cut through. Soft buttery egg that melts in your mouth just cooked enough but not over cooked runny yoke but not raw. Consistent yoke cooking through the yoke, not hard on the outside and runny on in the middle of the yoke. PERFECT! The Pancakes and real maple syrup were pretty good too. My daughter had the Gobbler sandwich and I had a bike WOW that was really good as well. I want that next time. STOP HERE and EAT.
