We had a wonderful time shopping at Stanley Korshak Bridal for my granddaughter's wedding dress. I live 365 miles from Dallas, and the bride lives 185 miles from Dallas. We have been to nine of the top bridal shops, as recommended by The Knot, in Dallas and Houston. We had our hearts set on one from an Italian Designer who is new in the USA. We had one place offer to order the dress, but we would have to buy it unseen. At Korshak on our first trip, we were waited on by Laura and she showed us several beautiful dresses, one of which we loved.
The next week we went back to several stores with the Maid of Honor, a bridesmaid, the future mother-in-law and sister-in-law, the mother of the bride, a lifetime friend of the mother, and myself. Once again we were treated like we were all very special and we found the dress that caused everyone to say, "That is it!" However, being a once in a lifetime choice, we wanted to think about it. The next week, the bride and I went by to have her measured and the designer for the dress we all loved, was there. The bride is tiny and so the designer himself measured her and told her how he would make the dress to match her small frame and height. She then told him that she was hoping to find the Italian dress and he showed her how he would remake one to look very similar to that dress.
Each time we went, they treated us just as they did the first time. If they were tired of our indecision, it never showed. Laura showed us a new dress the designer had brought with him and we decided it was even more perfect than the first dress we decided on. Again, we left to ponder our decision. We will be calling Laura tomorrow to have her order the last dress. We will recommend Stanley Korshak Bridal to everyone. They made wedding dress shopping the special and fun time it should be. They even stayed after closing time on one of our visits. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you everyone at Stanley Korshak Bridal.
