Small business that has delicious pierogies. Very friendly and helpful workers. Probably has 15 different fillings to choose from. Very reasonable prices. Street parking.

I had the blueberry.. the dough smells strange and it was very VERY salty. sadly my order didn't have the sweet cream topping. i am quite disappointed I ordered this for my office. I heard great things for years. I guess their heyday is over

Delicious fresh pierogies in a wide array of fillings. Dough is light. Especially enjoyed the sauerkraut mushroom.

Have been going to Stanley's for years. Always fantastic. Have had Pierogi from other places but these are the best. Always get several dozen when having company and everyone loves them. Stop in and try if you haven't had a good Pierogi.

Amazing. Tiny counter service only but they'll do take out if you ask. Their pierogies are made day of or the day before. Most orders are also wholesale, so thank goodness they'll let little peons like me walk in to buy too! And if you're like me, you'll order 6 dozen plus 1 to go, hot. Take out comes topped with perfectly fried onions. Is it suppose to come with sour cream? It was the only bit I missed as I inhaled 8 out of 12 in minutes. Fab flavors: truffle, bacon, sauerkraut, etc. Some other more experimental fruit flavors. And if they happen to be making a bulk order of something special, they'll let you buy a dozen of them too. (I caught them making pierogies filled with sweet potatoes and kale! Really hearty and awesome.) There are also these deep fried roll ups - no idea what they're called but very delicious stuffed with kraut and meat. And often, they have sweet crepes filled with apple, blueberries, currant, etc.

Not only are these pierogi delicious, but the prices are fantastic! I did not have cash on me, but thankfully they accept credit cards. The perfect quick meal when you're short on time, but also great for a nice dinner. Most importantly for me, they're full of all natural ingredients that aren't impossible to pronounce = )

They have quite the assortment!! Some of the best I've ever had. When I cooked them I could've let them get a bit more crisp. Will be back for more!

THE BEST PIEROGI IN TOWN! It's a small place with big flavor! I have tried them all but the potato & onion are still my favorite .

About 5.50 per pack of 12. They take card now! Plenty of vegan and vegetarian flavors! All very good. The truffle one had a light taste of truffle, nothing overpowering, and wasn't an excuse to raise the price either as other places would so I appreciated that. The potato and cheddar and the ruskie kinda blended together in my head but I think I preferred the potato cheddar more. The jalapeño actually had a little kick and wasn't jalapeños mashed into smithereens like I had expected so that was a pleasant surprise. The spinach feta potato wasn't my favorite but I loved that the combination existed. All the fillings were very creamy and the dough, you have to be careful, because it can fall apart while boiling. I will be back to try the rest of the menu no doubt.

I go there any time I am in the area. Small shop, but they mostly sell pierogies. They also sell potato dumplings (to make my Halushka!) There is a chart on the wall when you walk in which has the different variations of pierogies. They also take credit cards. My Slovak mother passed many years ago & she made the best pierogies. So when I came across this place - Home made Pierogies, I was ecstatic. And they really are very good. I boil them for a few minutes, then butter & onions on top. And if you don't live close by - stock up! You can freeze them

Stanley's is a mom and pop shop that mostly sells pierogies. They have about twenty different varieties. We had the classic potato, the truffle mushroom, and the blueberry. They were reasonably priced at about $5 for a package of a dozen pierogies. My favorite was the mushroom. I pan fried the two savory variations with some peanut oil over a medium heat. They developed a beautiful golden brown finish.

Holy Pierogi! These are so damn good!! Stopped by this place after a lunch with coworkers, since this is a well-known pierogi spot that is not only highly recommended, but their quality is really superb! Stop by, pick a flavor from the refrigerator behind the counter, pay, and leave happy! I bought the sauerkraut and mushroom (my personal favorite) and potato and cheddar cheese. Usually I find the potato to be super heavy, but these little guys were not overstuffed and were packed with a lot of flavor! Less than $5?! Unheard of! Homemade pierogis are the way to go; I wouldn't settle for anything less! I will need to try their other varieties next time and buy more; one package of each wasn't enough!

I got the basic potato & cheese pierogis .... fried them up in a cast iron skillet & they were to die for! Fresh & delicious!!

There are some days I wish I lived right next door to Stanley's, which at this point, is practically every day. A small store with a mom-n-pop style operation, these pierogi are offered on both a local and retail basis, serving the needs of the community and available for bulk ordering and purchasing like an advanced caterer / retailer. They sure know what they're doing, as this place has been around for over 25 years. The entire menu is pierogi. Polish in origin, (This is Ridgewood after all) what separates Stanley from the average polski establishment is their sheer variety on such a niche item. There are traditional options like potato & cheese or sauerkraut & mushroom and certainly less traditional ones like cheese with raisins or chocolate and a whole plethora of fruit flavors such as blueberry, prune, and strawberry. Essentially, this means they have vegan options too. I'm more of a fan of the heartier options, which basically include potato with anything, but especially the potato, spinach & feta. The layers of flavor within the stuffing is very addicting. I would also say the same for the spinach and cheese, which reminds me of a ravioli at times, but in Euro dumpling form. They also have some other things beyond the pierogi, such as a potent red borscht with mini mushroom uszka (tiny dumplings). They also feature a Polish version of gnocchi, called kopytka, which works as a great side. The pierogi variations are still the star of the show, which I'm hoping they'll continue to expand as years go on.

Fresh, reasonable and oh so good! That simple. They want more words but I have none. If you like homemade pierogies this is the place.

I have been wanting to try Stanley's for years today was the day. I decided to get them already cooked (boiled) and bring them home. You can get pierogi's to go already packaged for you to cook at home or they can cook them for you. I tried two versions 1. Mushroom/cabbage 2. Spinach/cheese both were excellent. I think next time I'll get the classic potato and cheese. You can't go wrong with comfort food like that. They can make them fried or boiled/steamed. If you have to cater a party getting a few varieties of their pierogies already cooked seems like an excellent idea.

The storefront is tiny. There seems to be a factory of sorts in the back but it is completely blocked off and the shop front has barely enough room for 2 customers. There was a refrigerator behind the cashier's till that you pointed to for the pierogis you wanted. No one was there when we entered but a woman came out after about 2 minutes. This is a Polish run establishment and there was a definite language barrier. The woman was able to understand which pierogis we wanted but not able to understand or answer any questions we had about other products. She wasn't friendly or unfriendly, just professional. Prices for pierogis weren't indicated anywhere in the store. We bought a mix of about 2 dozen packs of pierogis. Later on I saw on their website that they offer 1 free pack for every 10 packs purchased, but this was not offered to us in the shop. I did see in-store that they offer a free pack of pierogis for any yelp or google review. I did not partake of this offer but it made me skeptical of some of the 5 star reviews I had read. After getting home, I noticed some quality control issues. The pierogi packs are supposed to contain 1 dozen per packet, but some packs had less. Also, all varieties that contained spinach were very sparsely filled. I've had a lot of pierogis over the years and these definitely tasted machine made with a doughy consistency. The fruit pierogis were very bland. Price wise, per pierogi, these cost less than a restaurant but more than the pierogis in a supermarket frozen food section. This shop probably offers more pierogi varieties than most restaurants and supermarkets though. It was interesting to visit this kind of shop, but not sure it would be worth the trek out again.

Best take out Pierogies! It is fresh and cheap. Stanley's is located in Ridgewood off of Metropolitan Ave. and only Polish people come here. The potatoes and cheese pierogies are creamy and subtly sweet. Cash ONLY! You get a discount if you buy in bulk. As of Dec. 2009, you get about ten pierogies in a package for about $5. They list their prices on the wall, but have an idea of what you want beforehand, the line can get long. It's worth the trip.

Absolutely most delicious pierogi in the neighborhood!!! 1. One dozen of pierogi for $4.50 is a great deal! When you buy 10, you will get a free pack of pierogi. 2. Traditional potato & cheese hit a spot whether for lunch or dinner. You can steam them in a basket or fry them in a skillet with some onions. From time to time I top them with a bit of sour cream :) or use them as a side with my meat & veggies. 3. I also recommend delicious fruit pierogi & crepes - great for a quick lunch on a warm spring/summer day. Bluberry ones rock :)!

We were really disappointed in these pierogi's. They were really dry inside. We got several varieties. They had good flavors but could not get past the dryness

Tastes like old times. Enjoyed Potato and Onion. Added the traditional Saute Onion & Bacon with fresh Parsley and a side of Sour Cream. Enjoyed Lunch Today!

Let me tell you, Stanley's Pierogi was amazing. It was a wonderful experience. Every thing that I have already tried has been rather delicious. Workers are super welcoming. They're accommodating, well-mannered and always on their game. I can genuinely say Stanley's Pierogi is amazing.

We had the spinach and cheese and the potato and onion,they were AMAZING! They reminded me of the pierogis my Bubbie used to make. After eating Stanley's pierogis, I'll never buy supermarket pierogis again.

Neighborhood gem. Perfect place to get classic potato & cheese pierogi to go -- cooked to your preference (boiled or sautéed) They even have sweet flavored pierogi: apple, blueberry, strawberry, and prune! The woman working in the front grabbed the packages for us and headed straight to the kitchen to cook them herself. We are excited to come back!

The spinach are my favorite. I made some to bring to lunch tomorrow and am laying in bed at 9pm stuffing my face eating them. DELICIOUS!

I purchased 2 packages of cheddar pierogis and I loved them. It was like the comforts of my family's cooking but even better. I will definitely be going back for more. I have family visiting soon from another state and I'm excited to have them try it too.

Fun little pierogi shop. Not the cheapest but whatever I appreciate that they are here. Funny they have Artisanal pierogies but whatever, you are what you say. I'd definitely go back just to be a part of the family.

Fresh or frozen, it doesn't matter here--once boiled, these are awesome. I bought 250 pierogi (meat, potato/cheese, & mushroom/sauerkraut) for my bf's birthday party and it was a hit. They tasted exactly like the ones I've had at my favorite polish restaurant.My boyfriend is Polish and he also approved. It's a pierogi store so don't expect to have them cooked to order or have anything else except pierogi. But, expect 10 yummy delicious, dough-filed delights for only $4.50. Plenty of street parking, so if you have a car-- venture out. They speak limited English, especially when I called over the phone but everything was smooth when I arrived. Still cash only though--so one star down.

No BS hard to read ingredients, just all natural at great prices. They accept credit cards and have a wide variety of flavors as well as some amazing blintzes. Don't miss out on these delicious pierogi! And if you're too lazy to get them they're available on UberEats!

I purchased a dozen packages of Stanley's Pierogi's yesterday to bring to a family barbecue in Philadelphia. The pierogies were a huge hit. There were a dozen left and that was only because they were hoarded. Normally, we would have made our own to bring. But it had been a busy week with no time left to make our own. The stuffing options are great. We went with Babcia's traditional: potato with cheese; potato, cheese and onion; also snuck in a potato, spinach and feta; as well as, the classic sauerkraut and mushroom. Each was terrific. Everyone said they tasted like Babcia had made them fresh in the kitchen that morning. The young lady who worked the counter yesterday morning was very pleasant and engaging and helpful. Definitely, a perfect fit for your own frig or when you're having a party!

I don't eat Pierogi's much but from what I bought, it tasted fresh. We like the spinach and feta one more than the other flavors

BEST PIEROGI ON THE MARKET! Saw these at Foodtown in Williamsburg and instantly craved the soft warm pierogi my friend's mom used to make for us when we were younger. My expectations were not that high because usually taste is sacrificed with prepped and packed food...HOWEVER THESE WERE AMAZING. It took me less than 10 minutes to pan fry them and my boyfriend and I devoured them! They were crisp on the outside but so so soft as soon as you reached the inside. I was not surprised to see all natural ingredients on the label because these pierogi are as fresh as they taste. I actually now stop by their storefront every now and then because of all the yummy types they offer! Definitely buy whether you're short on time, need a dinner idea or are just craving the best authentic pierogi!

This is the store front for a pierogi factory not a sit down restaurant. Worth venturing to for amazing homemade fresh pierogis and blintzes in traditional inventive varieties. The Kasha ones were amazing and unexpected. Highly recommend.

These are not special pierogis at all. Go to any supermarket in Greenpoint and you'll find better ones for 20 percent less money. Stanley's are bland and underfilled.

This place is a GEM! They sell the most authentic delicious Polish pierogi around. A Polish friend recommended this place to me. So for the holidays I bought a variety of pierogi and the family LovED them! our favs were the mushroom/sauerkraut and spinach. Made fresh and super easy to cook up. prices are very reasonable too! GREAT FIND!!!!!
