Stannum Boutique Hotel & Spa

We stayed here twice — before and after our tour in Uyuni — and both times were absolutely great. The hotel is beautiful, very cozy, and in a super convenient location. Camila at the reception was so welcoming, and Gabriel at breakfast was equally friendly and helpful. In fact, all the staff were kind and attentive, which made our stay even more special. Breakfast was a real highlight — the local cheese and freshly baked bread were so delicious, you simply can’t stop eating! We left each time feeling happy, rested, and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

This was a great hotel choice for La Paz. It was right by the cable station. It had a theater and eatery downstairs. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Thank God for portable oxygen. They brought me a complimentary tank when I arrived and when I needed more, they brought a large tank for only $20. It was so helpful and I was grateful that the hotel provided this. The restaurant Terra served a wonderful breakfast. It was complimentary and had great selections as well as made to order full meal options. I stayed 9 nights and was very pleased with everything throughout my stay. I did a small video I loved the hotel so much and one night they brought over a little gift with a mug as a thank you. This is just another example of how kind and thoughtful everyone was on the staff. I look forward to visiting again!

What a pleasant experience we had with Stannum Hotel. From booking the hotel, front desk staff Marcelo had been very responsive through me whatsapp messages. They were able to set up my shuttle pick-up. The breakfast buffet was sufficient enough to start your day. We had some minor issues with ac and heater, but they were able to fix and offer other options. The location of the hotel was a great plus. It is literally by the multicine (shops/,gym/cinema/food court), which can be handy if you need something nearby. Special thank you to Marcelo and Camilla and the rest of the front desk team for taking good care of us. I definitely recommend Stannum Hotel.

Everything about this little hotel is nice and cute and functional. My flight got canceled while at the airport and they helped with the reservation without a hassle. Super friendly staff and helpful in any way. Checking in is super fast, checking out if you leave before dinner they provide with a small bag with water, juice, fruit, and a small sandwich. Can’t thank the lovely staff enough.

I had an exceptional experience at Stannum Boutique Hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—especially from David, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. His warmth, professionalism, and deep knowledge of wine elevated every meal we had at Terra Restaurant.||Speaking of Terra—the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully plated, and thoughtfully prepared. Prudencio at the restaurant and bar was also fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a great recommendation.||The spa service was another highlight. I came in with severe back pain after throwing it out earlier that day, and the massage therapist was truly a miracle worker. I left feeling completely restored and relaxed.||The team at Stannum are some of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve encountered during my travels. Every detail of our stay was thoughtfully handled, and the overall experience was unforgettable. If you’re in La Paz, this hotel is a must.

Unfortunately i stayed only one night, but for the price paid is an absolutely stunning hotel.|The staff is incredible, i was really look after at check in (i don’t remember the names of the 2 employees) and the man at the bar was amazing. He let me taste some of the best bolivian drinks, while explaining me the historical side. Breakfast staff also special, looking after me and all the other guest.|In the end, Carla and Daniel, made the checkout really smooth and kept my luggage for two days in deposit, because i had to go on an excursion.|The room has everything and the view on the city is stunning. |Super recommended

We spent 5 nights at The Stannum. It's a great hotel in a great location, right next to a Teleferico stop and attached to a mall with a food court. The decor in the lobby and the rooms is very modern and cool, with a purple theme. The beds are very comfortable. The food at Terra was great, both for breakfast and for dinner. The included breakfast includes a buffet, plus made-to-order espresso drinks and eggs. The service was excellent. The employees are all very helpful and friendly, and most of them speak English very well. David, the waiter/bartender, was very friendly, gave great advice, and spoke English perfectly. Camila and Diego at the front desk were very helpful and friendly and spoke English well. Gabriel at breakfast was very helpful and informative.

We had a wonderful stay at the Stannum while in La Paz. The hotel was in a fantastic location, easily accessible to shopping, restaurants and the Teleferico station. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with a great view of the city and mountains. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and assisted us with arranging airport transportation to El Alto. Definitely take advantage of the restaurant, my wife and I had dinner our first night and the food was great and the service of David was amazing. He is charming, funny and shared some great knowledge of the local wines. If you are visiting La Paz, I can't recommend the Stannum enough!
