Stannum Lodge Motor Inn

I was in Stanthorpe for a family birthday celebration & needed overnight accommodation. This was such a lovely motel! Nicely laid out with a wide entry from the main road (Google Maps directed me into the side street but the entry is from Wallangarra Rd). Undercover parking is provided for each room & covered most of my sedan. It was raining during my stay so this cover was much appreciated! Lovely, welcoming & helpful hosts made checking in & out very easy. My room was spacious, modern & scrupulously clean. Everything was in working order & the hosts had provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I happily recommend a stay at the Stannum Lodge Motor Inn & would stay again for the next family event.

The Stannum Lodge Motor Inn is a real gem. The room we had was clearly designed by someone who knew how to do it. Everything was in exactly the place you would expect, and the room was thoughtfully provisioned. It was spotless and lovely. The garden is stunning with beautiful ornamental trees, and the outdoor amenities are comfortable and well thought out. So much better than the average motel. We'd go again.

I love this place, it’s everything you want in a motel, easy walk to Quart Pot Creek parklands, and town, right next door to Anna’s, and you park your car right outside your room. The room is spacious and pleasantly furnished, everything beautifully clean, plenty of room for your bags and coats. Everything works, nice to have a lounge and coffee table, the bed was comfy and warm with ample blankets and a lovely white coverlet, and an electric blanket. The air conditioning soon warmed up the room on a chilly July night. Having a kitchenette is so appreciated. Lots of little extra amenities to make a memorable and comfortable stay. Thank you to the charming hosts! I recommend this motel to any travellers! I booked on line easily through their own website.

We loved our 4 night stay, very relaxing with everything you need. The owners are beautiful people, bed is very comfortable, grounds & pool well looked after. Close to town, club, wineries. We will definitely stay again.

This property is a bit out of town, so you wouldn't be walking in. The signage although OK, could be missed and you drive past. On booking and arrival, the front office were friendly and helpful. All rooms are off the main road, and are quiet. The rooms come with a kitchenette, but it is only a microwave (kettle and toaster) provided. There is crockery and cutlery. ||The room (including the bathroom) was very clean. There is a settee as well so the room is very usable and comfortable. No issues with the A/C. There is a pool here, but in winter? No, we did not use it. ||All rooms are ground floor. Beware though that there will be 2 steps or so to access. You park at the door undercover. There are brick colums here, so beware as they may be a bit tight for some. ||This is not the cheapest property in town, but the quality is worth the cost. We enjoyed our stay here that much that in a few weeks we have some travel plans that will bring us back through Stanthorpe, and we have already boed our 2nd stay. ||Of note (and not the Motel) the local RSL have memberships for $2...and it is a lifetime membership. We enjoyed our visit here,and look forward to our return.

Well appointed rooms. Very clean with comfortable beds. Kitchen is very well set up with microwave and many utensils Staff were very helpful and friendly. Located close to town.

This is a wonderful motor inn to stay at. It’s great value for money. It was the best accommodation we had on our recent road trip. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and have a great kitchen that is very well set up. There is a lot of care put into the presentation of the accommodation. It is in a good location not too far from the town centre. Thoroughly recommend this motor inn.

Great place to stay within an easy walking distance to waterways and town. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly hosts. Beautiful town to explore.

Comfortable stay in Stanthorpe! This is a clean and well run motel in a good location just a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of town. It's an older style motel, but the rooms are clean, spacious and really thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette. The owners Maurice & Mark are super friendly!!
