Stannum Lodge Motor Inn

We spent the night here on our way to Sydney and what a pleasure it was. From the friendly smile and chat on arrival, to the friendly smile and chat when departing, this is a very homely place to stay.|The rooms are a decent size with a comfortable bed and nicely arranged bathroom. There are all of the amenities expected in a motel.|It’s just a short walk into town along the Main Street and if not interested in going that far there is an Italian restaurant just next door.

We stayed a night here recently and found it very comfortable. The room was large and had a kitchenette with a kettle, microwave and small fridge. Bed was comfy, and the room was clean. Bathroom clean, with the usual amenities like handsoap and shampoo. Not too far to walk into town, with a nice park to stroll through. And thankfully, the outside lights were turned off after dark. (We have found many motels keep bright lights on all night.) Owners were pleasant and helpful. We would happily stay here again.

The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful and provided us with towels for the pool on arrival. The property is very well maintained from the rooms to the pool and garden area. It was great to be able to park our motorcycle undercover outside our room. It is one of the cleanest motor inns we have stayed in. Anna's Restaurant is next door, but it is an easy walk into the town.

Spotless,very comfortable, very large room. Love all the little extras, salt and pepper, makeup rounds, heaps of storage. Will be back again. Welcoming hostess. Great price. Free wi fi too. Air con and ceiling fan. Would definitely recommend to others.

Perfect place to rest for a couple of nights after a long drive. Arlene and Paul were super helpful and accommodating checking we were ok on arrival after our long drive and roo dodging. Spotless, super comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds and great location. Highly recommend a stay.

What an absolute delight it was to enjoy an overnight stay at Stannum Lodge. I travel a lot for work and often book small motels and hotels that are increasingly looking the same with white walls, generic art, standard provisions and little to distinguish one from another. It was therefore an utter delight to find this lovely place that 'feels' homey, spacious and focused on caring and supporting the variety of needs people may have who stay. While furnishings are certainly not brand new, everything I needed to feel comfortable was provided from the time I was warmly welcomed by Arlene and little touches like a small coffee plunger and coasters by the bed just made my day. Great service, great atmosphere, great care, and cleanliness and just over the bridge heading out of town towards Glen Alpin. I'd highly recommend a stay here if you're someone like me who appreciates feeling like you're staying where someone cares about you while you're away from home.

All in walking distance. Close to hospital. Beautiful restaurant next door and you can walk past the pool into restaurant gardens. Lovely people couldn’t be more obliging.Nothing was too much trouble. I extended my stay due to circumstances they were fantastic

Comfortable stay in Stanthorpe! This is a clean and well run motel in a good location just a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of town. It's an older style motel, but the rooms are clean, spacious and really thoughtfully equipped with a kitchenette. The owners Maurice & Mark are super friendly!!
