This is a beautiful hotel with a DELICIOUS restaurant under it. My boyfriend and I stayed here and he proposed! We had some other unexpected life events happen so we have had to push the wedding back to take care of business. In honor of our now 6 month engagement we came back for a quick lunch and it seems to be continually well maintained and looks as great as it did 6 months ago. The staff is friendly and helpful! And they have valet parking.

Its our first time visiting El paso my husband booked the hotel. He said it would be my vibe especially visiting from California. It was impressive from the start the young man in charge of valet was so sweet. The front desk was very accommodating. We applaud the chef for fine dining the food was amazing and delicious. Our server was sophisticated and professional.

I travel to El Paso for work weekly and I decided to stay here and reward myself for a long successful week. Last night they had an art show which was super cool. The room was beyond clean and neat. I myself have to Airbnbs, so I know what it is to keep a place clean etc. The quality presented here is top notch and location is perfect. The front desk was kind and the valet guys as well. I highly recommend this hotel.

Yikes - watch your credit card charges if you stay here. I recently booked several travelers for work in El Paso and Stanton House overcharged us THOUSANDS of dollars without blinking an eye and still have over a thousand dollars held on our credit card even though the other charges have cleared. Their guest services to help us correct the over charges was lack luster, non urgent, and seemed to lack understanding until I wrote up a breakdown with screenshots of our card statement. I will not book at this hotel again.

Google
The hotel itself is very pretty, very clean, and located in a great area. The front desk staff were kind, accommodating, and very attentive. The issue with the hotel is that it is extremely, unbearably loud in the hotel rooms overnight. They overlook the hotel bar and have all glass walls so it was like being in the bar noise-wise even when in our room. We got literally no sleep overnight because it was so painfully loud; if you’re not planning to go out all night and are hoping to sleep at a reasonable time I would avoid this hotel.

By far, this was one of our best hotel stays for 2025! Where have you been all of our lives, Stanton House? We are frequent travelers and would say this is the best hotel since 2024. EXCEPTIONAL ALL AROUND—room, service, food, art, and overall aesthetics! Bini and Carlos's customer service is what all hotel industry directors, staff, and representatives should strive for to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. They exceed standards, attentiveness, and care. Due to their outstanding knowledge of the hotel and customer service (and great lattes), they are one of the primary reasons for our return. Additionally, without question, the cleanliness and aesthetics of the rooms and the hotel's common areas earn five stars from us and are other top reasons for our return. We await a spa day, which we are told is the top spa in El Paso. See you soon, Stanton! You have become our go-to for business and leisure.

I had a fantastic experience thanks to Alejandro! He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. His professionalism and friendly attitude made a big difference and truly elevated my experience at the hotel. Alejandro is a standout team member, and I appreciate the genuine care he showed. Thank you, Alejandro!

Google
Highly recommend! Friendly and helpful staff and fun art collection make this hotel feel luxurious from the moment you walk in. The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the shades allow the room to get fully dark. Room amenities were plentiful and well-priced. The hotel is walking distance from a small park, The Plaza Theatre, plenty of restaurants from dive bars to a dressed-up dinner. Some rooftop bars nearby offer great views too.

Yelp
Stanton House is a sleek, modern hotel located in the heart of downtown El Paso, with the arts district, museums, theaters, stadium, and restaurants all in easy walking distance. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable, and the "art view" window in certain rooms is particularly fun. The hotel itself offers friendly, professional service throughout, including at the front desk and in the Taft-Diaz restaurant just off the lobby (oh, that espresso and delicious avocado toast).

Yelp
I first found out about the Stanton House while on a hotel tour sponsored by Downtown El Paso. This was the most unique hotel on the tour and truly a boutique hotel. We toured the rooms and the spa, sampled some food, and heard all about their amenities. I could tell my significant other really enjoyed the setting so I booked a staycation for his birthday. As far as common areas, the Stanton House is amazing! We went on a Saturday when they were also hosting a pop up market. We were able to grab some cool items from local creators and grab a latte from Grilla, a pop up coffee bar. That part was amazing! We also had drinks at the bar that evening and had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Also amazing! I had just a couple issues with my stay. 1. I booked a light well over a suite because they suggest that you'll be able to see the Shylights from the rooms (says "overlooks lightwell light art installation"), a beautiful art exhibit in the center of the hotel. We couldn't see them at all. We were a couple floors above the top of them. A little frustrating, but it's a small hotel so I get that not every room will have the perfect view. 2. For some reason, there was no hot water the night we stayed there. I had the shower on for several minutes and it never got above a cold temperature. It was late so I didn't want to have to call the front desk and decided we'd call in the morning. For some reason, it did work that morning. 3. The internet wasn't working and therefore the smart tv wasn't working. We called the front desk to let them know and they sent someone up, but they weren't able to do anything about it and said they'd send someone else. We went to dinner and such. By the time we came back, still nothing had been resolved. They didn't communicate anything with us. We weren't upset that the tv wasn't working, but weren't happy that there was no further communication. 4. Before check in, I asked if they could call us when the room was ready. They said they would have it ready in 30 minutes and would call me. I said thank you and to not rush since it was 1pm, but I guess they took that as just not calling me once it was ready. That being said, it is a really beautiful and unique hotel. I would still recommend it to someone visiting because it is such a unique hotel and would highly recommend Taft Diaz.

Yelp
My good friend and I decided to meet up in El Paso, since we hadn't seen each other in over 2 years. I chose the hotel, because I had read great reviews and was impressed by their Covid protocols and how their staff was fully vaccinated! It had absolutely Lovely amenities like bathrobes, steamer, impressive minibar, and a beautiful wardrobe. Each room, hallway, and common area had neat artwork and some was even local! The design was modern and upscale with marble showers, Art Deco pieces In the lobby, and beautifully mobile lights in their restaurant. Oh, and the best part was the location-downtown and close to everything (with a security guard, Victor, who greeted us and helped us find places to patronize)! So, why the 3 stars? Sigh. I wanted this to be a 5 star review, really I did. I was so excited. So, here's a breakdown of what didn't work out for me. 1) The room I booked wasn't available at checkin, so I agreed to upgrade to a higher floor at the suggestion of the front desk staff member even though I mentioned the floor on which my friend was staying 2) Poor sound insulation - heard a loud party and doors slamming until 3am 3) My reservation included breakfast but I was charged for my cafe purchases both times 4) The pillows were so uncomfortable and I woke up with a sore neck each morning 5) When I checked out, I was informed that the staff knew about a bachelorette party on the floor (where my room was) but assumed I was part of this party. I'm not sure what caused such assumptions when I shared I was visiting with my friend. I had really high hopes for a Design Hotel in Texas, but I'm on the fence about staying here next time I'm in El Paso.

Yelp
Clean but decent hotel. Close and walking distance to everything in Downtown. But for the price, not really worth it. Our view was a rooftop to adjacent building. Worst part, at about 8am next morning, I have to assume an employee was checking unoccupied adjacent rooms, were in fact empty, and was letting the doors slam shut! Woke us up after hearing several doors slam shut! Plus I have some extra charges on my credit card I will be calling about! I called today to dispute extra charges and was told they found damage to bed sheets. After having hotel send me a picture of so called damages, it was a small mark of makeup on pillow case. What a joke, now we know why this hotel was empty. We will never stay here again.

Yelp
Regrettably, what marred this entire experience was the late-night woman working the front desk on 1/4/24 at 11:50 pm. Upon entering the front entrance, we noticed all the lights were off, and she was in the dark at the front desk, barely greeting us. We needed water in the room, and when I asked her for some extra bottles, she checked and responded with, "We don't have any more." It's perplexing for a luxury hotel not to provide water for its guests. Then, she became rude and suggested we drink from the fountain. I don't even give tap water to my dogs. What kind of luxury establishment is this if it can't offer guests the simplest amenity of bottled water? I've stayed at luxury hotels worldwide, and this does not align with luxury service standards.

Yelp
An absolutely beautiful and stunning hotel in the heart of El Paso, Texas. I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed two complimentary breakfasts at the TAFT DIAZ restaurant near the lobby. The hotel is very quiet and there is stunning art at just about every corner. There is a little gym equipped with some solid equipment, including a peloton. There is a spa across the gym as well but I did not use it. The hotel room was very roomy. I stayed in a light well queen. The room was very clean and it was equipped with MALIN+GOETZ shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap and lotion. You will not be disappointed in your stay at the Stanton. Also, I want to add that the avocado toast is the best i have ever had! Enjoy your stay!

Yelp
This is actually a 4.5 star review. The hotel is GORGEOUS and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. Every single staff person we spoke to, from the front desk, to the servers in the restaurant, to the valets, to the managers were so nice and really made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The room we stayed in was HUGE and so comfortable. I especially liked the selection of books that were in the room. My ONLY complaint was this... The hotel has this amazing art installation in the form of several beautiful lighting fixtures on motors that move up and down several stories inside the hotel. Our room did not have a window to the outside, instead it had a window overlooking the moving light installation, which was AWESOME, until it wasn't. At about 1 PM, when there were no curtains to close and the the lights were still swishing up and down outside the window, it wasn't awesome any more. Luckily its a simple fix for the hotel so that next time this can be a five star review, just a nice thick, light blocking curtain on the window allows the guests to get a good night's sleep, which is, after all, one of the main reasons they checked in here in the first place. I'll be back though, curtain or no curtain, because this is a great hotel!

Yelp
Sigh , I'm just going to say .. needs a little bit of work .. First thing , the rooms itself are nice. It's the lack of communication and actually not looking for correct information on their end I paid for breakfast for 2 people .. when we arrived we received (1) voucher and then a $16 credit. Keep in mind , you may only use this to walk downstairs not bring it back up and not to be ordered in for room service. Same applies for the $16 credit. Nothing they have that's charged in room you cannot use that $16 credit for. Weird ? But whatever didn't really care What I did care about was the calling up to front desk and asking for my (2nd ) meal voucher and was told I can only get one. I did my due diligence myself and provided receipts that clearly state I paid for 2. The lady said " I'll just notate it and give it to you for free ". Excuse me ? Free lol it's PAID . Also , there was a bright bleached red stain celery pink now that was flipped over on the actual bedding itself. Don't flip it , just replace it. You can tell the sheets were used down to the last wear and tear as there was a big hole in the blanket itself. As mentioned earlier , the room itself is nice. Just needs a little bit more tweaking. Reason for the 2 stars .. you don't get what you pay for when you see the hotel cutting corners. I've been to plenty of 4/5 stars hotels and I'll just say .. I didn't have thing to complain for. By the way , waking up at 6a to call for my second meal voucher was not it for me hahaha ‍ Update * added pics of my " pastries " that were burnt lol and not to add they had no vanilla for the latte and no orange juice . Sure I got charged for both ‍

Yelp
My coworkers and I stopped in for dinner and drinks. We parked our car at 6pm with the valet. As we finished up and we're going to leave, the valet couldn't find our car. We were told different stories, the car is at another lot, they are looking for it, etc. they finally told us that they parked the car directly behind the hotel in their lot. They looked at video, someone was in the lot and broke in/hot wired the car. The hotel told us they are not responsible in any way. The valet company said that this is the first time it ever happened. This seems like an inside job from the valet to the thief. Do not stay here.

Modern and unique hotel with excellent service. Valet parking with very helpful and friendly valets. Coffee available anytime.

Yelp
If I can give more stars I would. This place is extremely beautiful and fancy. I came here to El Paso for a wedding stayed at this hotel for three nights. The rooms are clean and the people that work here make sure you are taken care of. For those that like to workout or relax there is a gym and a spa . I definitely recommend this place because you are close to downtown plenty of places to chose from to spend a nice day. Also the hotel has a beautiful eating, bar and seating areas. I will definitely come back when I visit and will pick this hotel again.

Louis K.

Yelp
Very nice. Wish they had a place like this in Dallas or Los Angeles. They maintain a very classy place.

Yelp
The StantonHouse was beautifully designed and decorated. I travelled alone and felt safe! I loved being able to drive up and have a valet greet me before I got off the car. I felt extremely safe and was able to relax for a few days. The service from Victor and the entire staff was excellent! I highly recommend The Stanton House and look forward to returning back whenever I travel to El Paso. My only reward not having chance to dine in their restaurant. This was due to my busy schedule.

Yelp
Recently my husband and I took a staycation over night at Stanton House . From arrival to check out was 5 star. The valet service on arrival was immediate, the check in personal, the dinner off the chart, the GM who checked on us Guillermo was very personable and and welcoming, and last the valet upon leaving was as well very friendly. The entire experience was perfect. You can definitely tell the GM Guillermo is very happy to be there and proud of the establishment he runs. The small boutique hotel is in downtown and easily accessible. Centrally located to many little bars with in walking distance .The decor is very modern and very pleasing to look at. The hotel has a small bar in the lobby and restaurant named Taft Diaz. The rooms are spacious was many amenities to include full mini bar and I mean fully stocked full size bottles, an array of different beers, hard seltzers, mixers, wines, Champaign, and sodas. For the late night snack attack there is also an array of snacks. For the couples there to enjoy an intimate stay well that too is covered. The room has both his and her pleasure packs to be enjoyed. The bathroom is beautiful and the shower is so relaxing. The TV is large and is equipped with chrome cast should you decide to connect a device. I thought that was a great detail. Taft Diaz restaurant was amazing. The menu is small but has wonderful unique options. Our waiter Francisco was very attentive and helpful with the menu and suggestions. Complimentary bread was served to start. We then had the meat ball appetizer with an Italian sauce and type of mozzarella cheese served on a skillwt with another serving of the amazing bread. I had the perfectly cooked seared scallops with a type of hatch green Chile sauce on risotto. So delicious. My husband he had the rib-eye. He is a rib-eye con issuer. The rib-eye was cooked to his perfection and it was the BEST rib-eye either of us had ever eaten. It was so tender and melted in our mouth. Served with 2 different kinds of dipping sauces that were super tasty. Grilled avocados and onions were perfect along with mashed potatoes. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will be 100% returning. The entire experience as I stated previously from start to finish was off the charts. I highly recommend this hotel and restaurant. We did not take advantage of the spa but I have heard from multiple people that it too is amazing. I highly recommend staying here or even just trying the restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect throughout and our stay was so enjoyable.

Yelp
I wanted to fall in love this place and for the price I had high expectations. I'll start with the great. So what I loved about this hotel, the customer service was great. The staff was friendly, always welcomed us, and were polite, especially the doorman Victor. The room was clean and had some cool amenities such as high end alcohol in the rooms. What I appreciated was there was a sheet that listed all prices. I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was tasty. I did get served cold coffee and espresso but it wasn't a deal breaker. Now the not so good. The rooms were not sound proof and it was very loud outside. The hot water went out twice when we were there. We had to remind the front desk about our clean towels. And you have to pay for parking and honestly for the price you think they would have you covered. I do miss the normal amenities such as a microwave and coffee machine in the room. The location was ok. We were downtown but there isn't much to do and most places are shut down or we're closed. I probably wouldn't stay here again unfortunately.

Yelp
This hotel was the most luxurious place I've stayed in awhile. I was in the Light Well queen room and never wanted to leave. Large open space, tons of amenities, an amazing waterfall shower, an Alexa right by the bed, and a very comfortable mattress. There were bottles and snacks for a price but no coffee maker. Fear not, coffee drinkers! Simply head downstairs and they will brew you a fresh gourmet coffee on the house! Breakfast is wonderful and room service is well priced. Parking is free and located at the back of the hotel, and there are lots of great food and drink options within walking distance. There's not a hotel store or vending machine but there is a CVS around the corner. The only downside is the lack of channels available on TV. I think the thing that would make the hotel top notch is a Netflix option. I cannot wait to stay here again!

Irene S.

Yelp
We had a lovely stay. The room was gorgeous and there was a little nook in the room where we could see the beautiful light art installation. Only stayed one night on our drive cross country.
google avatar

Candice W.

Yelp
I am docking one star because our side table was not clean (covered in drink rings), and we had to wait half an hour past check-in for our room. Other than that, our stay was lovely! This hotel is beautiful, the spa is wonderful, and the drinks from the bar were delicious. We had a fantastic time, and will be back! I do wish that for the price of the rooms, there was more attention paid to detail and convenience (for example, this room was advertised as perfect for a romantic weekend - and yet there was only one robe in the room).
google avatar

Richard H.

Yelp
This is really a beautiful hotel. They went above and beyond as we were celebrating a birthday. They decorated the room with balloons and left a card for us. The theme was super modern, everything is upgraded and updated. Looks amazing.

Yelp
For anyone who's looking into staying at the stanton house you need to read this before anything else, to start I can't even begin to tell you how grateful and impressed I am with their service three weeks before staying with them I called the front desk explaining that I was planning on proposing to my now fiancé I explained to them that I want to do something special and I would like to come and look at the roof and possibly propose to her up there. They were super understanding and made our night exceptional . With the amenities that were placed into the room, rose petals, champagne the works as well as working with me to make the proposal special and clearing off the roof!Every step of the way they were amazing. I highly recommend anyone to stay here. The restaurant is delicious and the rooms are amazing and the staff are incredible! Thank you all again for making our night amazing !

Yelp
We stayed here on our way back to Phoenix and just wow. Everything from the room, service, food, and drinks just left me wanting to stay forever. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
google avatar

Serg P.

Yelp
Unhelpful front desk. We've stayed over 6 nights here in the last month at top dollar rates. Provided Blush and Taft Diaz with lots of business too. The front desk can't manage more than 30 min extension on late check out when the hotel is half empty. Terrible way to show appreciation. Rooms are new, but nothing special. Space is not well used. Dangerous, dark alley parking. Taft Diaz food is decent if you have several hours available to wait. They are sloooooooow. I'd stay elsewhere. Plenty of better options in downtown El Paso!

Yelp
Beautiful brand new hotel! Nice and modern, clean and spacious! Walking distance to some great food and coffee shops! We happen to be at the bar during HH and decided to try a couple of pork confit tacos and my Husband had the short rib tacos which were both amazing in taste and presentation. Our bartender who happened to be a fill in was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Customer service was top notch here! 4 stars are for the plumbing issues. We were originally on the 4th floor and had to be moved because our toilet just wouldn't flush. When we called down we were told this was a known problem and they are working on it but for now we could either stay in the room and just not put any toilet paper in the toilet or move rooms. Ummmmmm throwing used tp in the trash is disgusting and unsanitary so we obviously chose to move. Why that's even a recommendation is beyond me. The staff was quick in helping us move to another room and the rest of our stay was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and hope the plumbing issues are resolved by then.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying at the Stanton House on my first trip to El Paso! Everything was wonderful. The room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We are at the restaurant a couple of times and was very pleased with all the items we ordered. Highly recommend staying here and plan to put my whole company up here on our next return visit.

Yelp
Enjoyed our stay. Super clean. High celling and quiet. Nice staff. Wishing you the best Stanton!

Yelp
Wow! I was in El Paso while my husband was on a 4 day pass before deploying overseas. We were looking for the perfect getaway, and boy did we find it! The staff was so gracious and friendly that I felt sad when we left! At the spa, the services were unbelievable! At the restaurant, the food was divine! At the bar, the drinks were amazing! The room was very spacious, and modern but still felt homey. I actually am hoping my husband comes back through El Paso post-deployment, so we can stay there again! Special thanks to Hayden at the front desk, Caza and Monica at the bar, Jacques at the restaurant, and a special thanks to Natalia, the wine manager for creating a unique wine tasting experience for us.

Yelp
Great hotel. Very accommodating staff that is eager to please and help wherever they can. Stylish modern lobby and rooms. The restaurant is very comfortable and elegant with great food. Will definitely be coming back if and when I return to El Paso!

Yelp
This place is the perfect getaway - a gem of El Paso. I have never experienced a more professional staff. The front desk, manager, the restaurant staff blew me away with their kindness, patience and wealth of knowledge about the area. They have met my every need - truly went above and beyond. I cannot wait to come back to The Stanton.

Yelp
Extremely well executed boutique hotel in the heart of El Paso with great amenities. Room was well appointed, bed very comfortable, staff super helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is delicious. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in El Paso.
