Star Hotel Chiang Mai

The hotel is newly renovated. The room we stayed in and all the public areas were very clean and well maintained. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location is great being near the old city and just a short walk to all the night markets. We were upgraded to a larger room with a lounge at no cost which was a bonus. I would stay here again.

I guess it's hit and miss here for many people but I enjoyed my stay. At Dec 2025 no longer has any renovation, lobby was new, room was clean, tv was working and the ac was cold. Breakfast at only 150b per pax. They even has bath robe. At this price I really have no complain and will definitely check this hotel out the next time I come.

Very clean and spacious room! Comes with decent breakfast and it was different food in my two nights stay! Staff is very friendly! And the location is very close to night bazaar, bars, massage places, 7-11 and many more! Just the shower water pressure can be tuned up stronger and the shampoo/soap they serve can be more "condensed" instead of too watery.

I am very happy to stay here for three nights. starting from the friendly receptionist, the rooms are modern and complete with amenities, breakfast is also delicious, the location is 8 minutes walk to the night bazaar and very helpful staffs. Staying here is very comfortable and quiet. i would like to stay here for my next visit to CNX.

Hotel have nice and comfortable rooms. All of the staff are amazing friendly. Hotel is very close to nightmarket and restaurant and bars. Sunday nightmarket is walk 10/15 minutes. Breakfast is simple but good. There is a pool but I not used. But it looks good.

Great location and friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was not that great. Easy to get around by walking. Lots of restaurants and markets near by and easy to walk to old city

having stayed at the Star for one one night, two persons in two rooms, we would like to say our stay was very pleasant.|the staff were helpful with acceptable english.|location was very good, with easy access across the city, TUK TUKs nearby and good access to taxis.|not too far from the airport.|very clean rooms and a comfy if a little firm bed.|we both had a good night's sleep, with little noise disturbance.|the doorman was very pleasant and helpful.|and a very good breakfast.|if visiting again i would most certainly re book this hotel, more than can be said for other Chiang Mai hotels we have stayed at.

The hotel has 2 buildings. One building is the "older" part and one the "new" part. The rooms in older part are little bigger then in new part. I stayed 4 nights. After 2 days the elevators not work anymore. The next day the give me room in the new part. The breakfast is simple but good. All the staff are very friendly. The pool looks nice but I didn't use it. Hotel is near evening market. Just 1 minute walk. Near are a lot of restaurants and bar. To the airport just 15 minutes. Overal a very pleasant stay at Star Hotel in Chiang Mai. I sure will come back.
