Such a nice and cozy hotel surrounded by nature, but just 10 min by bus from the city center. The rooms are really cozy, the whole place is sustainable and the views are really nice. You can also find a horse riding spot and a cute restaurant next door. Also the breakfast was great. However the best was the hotel staff, everyone was so welcoming and they all were aware of our anniversary. Special mention to Anoeska who took the time to congratulate us and took some pictures for us. Thanks a lot!

We did not have any high expectations for this hotel and were nervous about no air conditioning but were blown away. The hotel has beautiful grounds, bike rental, great restaurant and even horse stables. The staff were wonderful to deal with, breakfast had great variety and a fancy coffee machine. Our room even had a cellphone that was free to use for local and international call and text and was very handy to have for getting around. Loves this place and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Utrecht!

Very nice hotel and public space inside & lobby. Super nice and helpful staff. Self-service (paid) bar & coffee at the lobby. Two good restaurants right next to the hotel in the same area with outdoor/indoor tables. Rooms are very clean & comfy beds. The only thing that could be better in our room was the WC/shower which lacked shelves for storing your stuff for a longer stay.

Nicely located to the heuvelrug and nature which I came to explore by bike, while still in Utrecht, but not many food options under 2 km circle for singles without car. Luckily with a bike you can still make it to Albert Heijn or just order from a delivery service if you don’t wanna walk. I could store my race bike Into the two person room which I found great for safety. Clean, breakfast with all essentials. Quiet and green area. It was a fairly nice 4 night stay. Bed could be always more comfortable, but it’s ok. What I missed more is a room service food (solo travelers don’t always wanna go to a restaurant alone)

Close to downtown but also surrounded by a nice country atmosphere. Warm reception. Rooms are modern with a nice touch and are clean but have shower and sink situated along a wall and separated from bed by a glass. However quality and price are adequate. Bus stop very convenient. If you don't feel like moving too far there is a nice bistro at hand.

We had a wonderfull stay. Hotel almost in a nature surrounding, Great room, nice and clean. We had the quiet side. Breakfast was well arranged buffet and corona proof with time spots. We really recommend this hotel if you stay in Utrecht. Only 2,5 walking distance from the city center. Nice walk by the way. Only the bed pillows are a bit high. One high and one low would be better.

The staff here is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are nicely designed and comfortable. The self serve drinks bar next to the equestrian training ground is a wonderful way to spend an evening. My only complaint would be the breakfast isn't very vegan friendly beyond bread and cucumber, but the staff tried hard to accommodate my needs. Great value for a lovely stay!

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. The staff was really nice and helpful. The self- service bar is amazing and there are 2 restaurants nearby. For me the room was a bit cold, but I always trend to have cold. Amazing breakfast, everything you could wanted to eat, they have it. If I ever come to Utrecht, I will definetly come back to Star Lodge.
