As a big fan of Thai cuisine, I had high expectations for Star of Siam, and I’m happy to say I wasn’t disappointed. The food was flavorful, authentic, and prepared with care, making it a delightful dining experience. One of the highlights of my meal was the Thai seafood fried rice. I asked for it to be made with less oil, and the staff were happy to accommodate my request. The dish was cooked perfectly, with a good balance of flavors and fresh seafood. I also added some tofu to the fried rice, which blended beautifully with the rest of the ingredients. Every bite was a treat, and I truly enjoyed it. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel comfortable and welcome. It’s always a pleasure to dine at a place where the staff genuinely care about meeting your preferences. Star of Siam is a great spot for anyone who loves Thai food. With their delicious dishes and willingness to customize meals to your liking, it’s easy to see why this place stands out. I’ll definitely be returning to try more items on their menu. Highly recommended for Thai food enthusiasts!

Authentic Thai Delight During our recent visit to this cozy Thai restaurant, we were delighted by the authenticity and bold flavors of each dish. From the moment we stepped in, the warm ambiance and the inviting aroma of Thai spices set the perfect tone for an enjoyable dining experience. The Dishes We Ordered 1. Warm Tofu & Vegetable Salad – This was a pleasant surprise! Unlike the usual cold salads, this warm version added a comforting touch to the fresh vegetables and soft tofu. The dressing was well-balanced, combining tangy, sweet, and slightly spicy notes that enhanced the overall taste. 2. Sweet and Sour Beef Stir-Fry – The beef was cooked to perfection, tender yet slightly crispy on the edges. The sweet and sour sauce had a great balance of flavors, not overly sweet nor too tangy, just the right amount to make every bite irresistible. The addition of fresh bell peppers and onions brought a delightful crunch, complementing the tender meat beautifully. 3. Pad Thai with Chicken – A must-try classic! The noodles were cooked just right, not too soft nor too chewy. The sauce had a rich, authentic tamarind base, giving it a balanced sweet, sour, and savory taste. The chicken was well-seasoned and paired perfectly with the crushed peanuts and fresh lime, adding layers of texture and flavor. Our Verdict - We’re giving this restaurant a solid 9 out of 10! The flavors were true to traditional Thai cuisine, staying authentic while also catering to local palates. The quality of the ingredients, the balance of flavors, and the thoughtful presentation made our meal truly enjoyable. The only reason we held back from a perfect score was that we always believe there’s room for a little extra magic. If you’re looking for an authentic Thai dining experience, this place is definitely worth a visit. Great food, warm ambiance, and a genuine taste of Thailand—what more could you ask for?

Tasty Thai and great service! We were greeted instantly and taken to a table in a ‘quiet’ corner as there was a table of 10 in the centre. Note: I really love it when restaurants do this as opposed to seating everyone on top of each other so it’s easier for them to serve us! We ordered the Basil Lamb and Pad Si-Eww with Chicken and Coconut Rice and the dishes all came out quickly. Every dish was super tasty and we really couldn’t pick a favourite as they were all so delicious. We also loved that they listed take away containers on the menu, another plus so you don’t have to worry if you over order. Would definitely recommend this restaurant - with attentive staff and great food I know that we’ll be back!

Enjoyed every minute of it. Staff were really attentive and gave a good and quick service. Food was delicious. We enjoyed some spring rolls and yummy satay chicken skewers to start with. As a main,we had the quail with the garlic and onion sauce and veggies and the pad Thai with beef. Everything was very nice.

Food is delicious and is Thai, probably with some localisation to local palate. The cook is Thai, the boss' wife. Service is good with the staff checking on us throughout the meal. They served small plates for the entree and changed new cutlery & bigger plates for the main dishes. Dishes were cleared whenever we completed them. It was popular as half the restaurant was occupied when we arrived and good flow of new customers through our meal.

Yelp
I came here with my girlfriend of 6.4 years and immediately upon crossing the threshold the first thing we noticed, as our intertwined hands made their way from down at our sides to covering our respective agape mouths, was the smell. This place smells like what I imagine Buddha's tomb smells like, in the best of ways. Yum yum. I ordered the chicken Panang curry with a side of jasmine rice, it was trill. No, it was sooo trill. My girlfriend, Jensica, in case you wanted to now her name is an Instagram model and she ordered the pad see yu because she's watching her figure. I didn't ask her but I'm sure hers was trill as well. You see, Jensica and I aren't on speaking terms as of late because I forgot to separate the compost from the rest of the plant based paper products in the rubbish bin. The Star of Siam was an amazing restaurant nonetheless. Highly recommend.
