I went to this location today for one drink and not only was it amazing well made the space on top so the foam didn’t touch the lid I was so happy but really today the employee at the window was so kind and I don’t usually rate based off customer service because everyone has off days but this employee was so kind and asked us to drive safe honestly meant a lot to me! As many Starbucks as there are in the world, there’s just as much a range of quality of service in each location. Sometimes they are fast, efficient, and super nice and you’d be happy to go back. But you know, there’s definitely the other side too. This Starbucks probably lies somewhere in between leaning more towards being good. The workers are quite nice in all my times going (which actually is maybe only a handful but still). Going inside is usually faster because the drive thru almost always has a line as pretty much all Starbucks are notorious for (what IS it about them??). Starbucks is nice sometimes because it’s so basic, but it definitely isn’t a go to for me. Mainly I go there when I have a gift card or enough reward points from the app to use to slide a free drink. But I do love how flexible they are with adding or subtracting components from a drink to get it just how you want. Bygones be bygones, Starbucks is probably always going to be around a looong time and if you really want coffee there’s most likely a nearby Bucks wherever the heck you may be.

Came to this Starbucks for just a quick hot coffee with a splash of creamer and no where was my drink correct. First given an iced coffee with I specifically asked for hot. Had it remade and it came out iced again. Then after 7 minutes of sitting there with a line of people behind me, they bring me my coffee, didn’t put the lid on and spilled as it was handed to me. Absolutely ridiculous.

This location needs to focus on consistency. I Mobile order the exact same drink two to three times a week at this location and each time the drink is made differently. I'm hoping at some point that management will focus on proper training so that the drinks taste the same each time.

I had a perfect Trenta Black Iced tea along with a lemon loaf. My Mom had a hot drink. I think an extra hot sugar free vanilla latte with a brownie. The drinks and desserts were fabulous. The ambiance had a warm feeling different colors of wood with tile and beautiful artwork. Minimal sales area for product sales. The service was good and I got an iced tea refill too. I would recommend this Starbucks!

Was in a hurry but only one car in line so thought it'd be fast (I'm used to the speed and efficiency of Wedgewood location). As luck would have it the car in front had to have a long discussion with barista about her order, lots of money going back and forth and several cups back and forth, 8 minutes later I'm finally to the window hoping my 3 iced drinks are ready. 3 minutes later while watching baristas converse (possibly work related) without any attention I spoke loudly thru the open window to cancel my order. 11 minutes with only one customer ahead in a drive thru feels like 20 when you're in a hurry.

Used to be my go to Starbucks !! I placed my order from the register and I waited about 20 minutes. It seems that they give priory to the Mobile orders and the line of cars is insane It was very bad and I don't blame it on the workers that they are trying the best. Management is not doing good job ... won't be coming back

If I find myself needing a mid-day pick-me-up, Starbucks is my go to. It's made easier with drive thru locations. The staff is always friendly when I go, and the ease of using the app to pay makes things even easier. The drinks and food are always a hit.

The staff are nice and seem to know their work well enough, as the drinks I order are quite good, when I can actually get them. Today, though, instead of enjoying a premium coffee (misto), the app reported the store was out of product to make my order. Ditto on a number of cold-brew and other specialty drinks on the menu. My problem with this store is that, apparently, management can't keep the store stocked to meet demand. Time and again, I'll order on the app only to find I can't get what I want. Today, there's no almond milk, also whatever is needed for a lot of the cold brews. Tomorrow, I expect that it will be some other thing that ought to be available. Last time, and quite commonly, this store runs out of breakfast items when it's still breakfast time (e.g. 9:00 a.m.). Today, the delicious egg whites sous vide is already unavailable. Frustrated, again. I remain impressed though, by what a money-maker this store is. People love what SB offers: excellent coffee, imaginative premium coffee drinks, and exceptional food items that distinguish it from other places, all reliably served nationwide. It's just a great concept. Imagine if it were stocked well enough with menu items, sales through the roof! In my wife's company, a Subway quick-serve restaurant franchise, if the store runs out of product, the manager get counseled, by my wife. If the problem persists, the owners will discharge the manager. A single instance of running out of bread is instant termination. I'm sure SB has the sales predictor tools to staff and supply the store better, here's to hoping this improves. Love the coffee, love the people, I know you can manage better. Cheers!

Definitely impressed with the speed of service and friendly attitude I received on my first visit to this location. Voice over the speaker was cheerful and made for a great experience from the start. The staff is super nice here - I'm just complaining that this is the slowest Starbucks drive thru I've ever been to. Yet I still keep coming to this one due to proximity to my house. I've spent a full hour waiting in line in my car and most times I'll spend at least 25-40 minutes waiting in this line. They need to revamp their drive thru service to accommodate how many people come through here daily.

If I could give ten stars I would. This is by far this best Starbucks in the area. My drink is right every single time and I love that the baristas have personality unlike other stores where it feels like a get your coffee and leave situation. Truly embrace the third place that has made Starbucks the quintessential coffee company in the US. I have to give a special shoutout to Ana, Isaac, and Lucius. The night crew always makes everyone feel welcome and you can tell they love their job and really care about the quality and take the time to remember regulars names. Truly truly top tier Starbs experience. Amazing atmosphere a must visit!

Ordered a drink with light ice as we have done many times before that. The drink was 3/4 filled with regular ice. The barista said it was not filled because the ice had melted -- only it was filled with regular ice. The barista said that is the way it is and refused to do anything. We are never ordering a cold drink there again.

I generally try to be a positive person when it comes to a store. This store though has really left a bad mark on itself as a Starbucks. The wait times were/are terrible. The staff are disingenuous. The Store is dirty and I feel like anything would have been better than going here. avoid at all costs.

This is my second review on the store and it has gotten no better, they need to find people who know how to make drinks properly. They need a new manager their manager Kristy is never present, and they never get their drinks right you pay for shots of espresso you should get all your shots in your drink. They pour half of your drink including The shots you paid for, and they always end up getting the drink wrong. It is a 30 minute wait to get your order, I highly suggest you start going to the Starbucks down the street on South Florida by your road Ewell road for the best drink and maybe a 5 minute wait time, as opposed to your 30 minute wait for a drink that will never be proper. Desperately needing a new manager, and they need to also teach their employees how to make a proper drink. This may be worse of a review than my last one, only because I keep trying them and they never work.

I have given this location many chances to change my mind. The iced coffee normally tastes burnt, extremely watered down, and when you ask for extra heavy cream I think that's their cue to not give a shit about your order. Hardly any cream, no flavor besides burnt watery coffee. I have to go home and fix my coffee to just taste like $2 doctor's waiting room watery coffee. I don't taste the syrups nor the sweetener. I'm surprised they didn't put salt in it with how salty I am right now spending $10+ on coffees that taste like I should've been paid to drink them. I'll be driving an extra 10 mins to avoid this starbucks. The pictures attached don't give justice to how dark the coffee actually is.

There are several Starbucks in Lakeland, and this is my favorite mainly due to the layout inside and outdoors. There's a generous seating area with shading, which works well for me when I go to socialize or read. Coffee drinks can be inconsistent depending on the barista - but overall I've had good experiences over the years here.

This pains me. I enjoy Starbucks. First let me say the people are nice and friendly. The problem is this is twice in one week they are unable to provide their products. Last weekend they were out of the pumpkin spice whip (this isn't the first time this location hasn't been able to meet the nationally advertised 'limited time special'), today the expresso machine is broken. Unfortunately once you are in the drive thru line there is no way to get out of the line. Posting the information at the entrance would allow someone to make a decision prior to being held captive. I put up with the long lines because I understand it is one of the busiest Starbucks. I plan my time around a stop. Hopefully, they will see these remarks as ways to improve.

This Starbucks was a great remote-office for me last month; the baristas didn't mind when I told them I'd be camping out all afternoon, and the seating was comfortable enough that I didn't regret my choice. One thing to note: the area with the bench-and-table seating is the area with the weakest wifi signal. So if you're doing something bandwidth-intensive like a remote desktop session, you might want to choose a seat closer to the front door.

My drink is always good and the staff is pretty friendly. But I can only give them 3 stars because every time I go I have to wait forever. I can be in the drive thru or go inside, there can be a ton of people in front of me or just one, but either way I will probably have to wait at least 15-20 mins before my drink is in my hand. Today is no exception. I went in the drive thru and waited 5 minutes before getting to the box, then at least 3-5 mins sitting in front of the box waiting for them to take my order, and another 5-7 minutes at the window. There were only two people in front of me when I got in the drive thru line.

I worked at this Starbucks, no Starbucks is perfect but my partners were amazing and we always treated customers good. I've seen too many bad reviews about customers saying we were not good. It is not easy working at a Starbucks when we have a lot of drinks to make. Sometimes it gets really stressful but we do anything possible to make our customers happy. It's easy to say that we're taking too long, etc... when you're not working behind that bar making up to 20 drinks as fast as you can. We've had a lot of rude customers but still we have to give them a smile and keep going. If something doesn't make you happy feel free to tell us, but don't yell at us or tell us we're not doing our job right. The customers are not always right but we still are there to make them happy no matter what. I love my customers there, and I miss them all. Yes!! Go to this Starbucks, my partners are always there to help you through your Starbucks experience! Any complaint we do have our manager and district manager and they're always there for you in anything you need!

I've had some friends work at this location and they've told me what it's like. They should focus more on getting customers served in a timely manner and not gossip about patrons. I wonder if Howard Schultz, the CEO, condones that type of negative work or business atmosphere. Without customers the workers wouldn't get a paycheck. They should shut their mouths and just serve the customers!

This is a beautiful stand alone "new" (built for) Starbucks in the Lk Miriam Shopping Center. It has a drive-thru. I'm not a coffee drinker so can't speak to that. BUT it has luscious cakes, cookies and pastries (I'm partial to the lemon and orange flavored pound cakes.). They are also a light sandwich, fresh fruit, light breakfast location. I appreciate their hot oatmeal option. It has a small outdoor cafe that is great for friend gathering. It loses a star for not-always-friendly servers, lack of PR/advertising of its products, and not pushing its goods to non-coffee drinkers! 3/7/2014 update. Had a horrid "BLT chicken salad sandwich" here-stale and soggy had sat in the cooler too long. No more orange cake but they did have a nice raspberry cake slice. Got a bagel and cream cheese to go. All this for $10.50. A little bit steep. Used a gift card and the first one came up zero when I knew I had cash on it so this was a frustrating trip all around....Won't take it off the list yet but no change in stars. either.

I would love to give this Starbucks more stars because...I really do like to frequent this location and I am really glad it is there. The problem is, sometimes I like to go there later, maybe between 11:30PM-2AM on a weekend night, and the servers can be *really* rude. It has actually stopped us from going a few times because we do not want to deal with the cranky servers. Sometimes we just don't care. Service can be slow, but that is true in all Starbucks. I love the outdoor seating, but because so many people smoke, I can never enjoy it because I do not enjoy the smell/taste of tobacoo with my coffee and pastries. But still...it is hard to pass up a late night Starbucks run. Even as I write this I am getting the urge to drive over and have a little caffeine boost...

This Starbucks is notorious for their long drive thru waits and lack of urgency. I have worked for Starbucks for many years and am from the area. My suggestion is to drive an extra few minutes to service a different Starbucks. This location is not worth the wait not the aggravation of a congested parking lot. The attitudes displayed by baristas here is anything but consistent. I have been met with many pleasurable experiences but also experiences that make me not want to visit again. It takes 10 good experiences to make up for 1 bad one. This location is in need of better management and supervisors to lead the team.

I HATE THIS STARBUCKS!!! Every time I go here the parking lot is extremely full and the people using the drive-thru don't understand the importance of two lanes of traffic in motion. The lines are always long inside and out. I placed a mobile order for two drinks when I was about 5 minutes from the store. When I got there, it was busy and the barista behind the beverage station ignored me for a good 10 minutes while she TURNED HER BACK TO ME TO WIPE DOWN THE BACK COUNTER AND CLEAN. I thought maybe I made a mistake in my mobile order, so I went to my car to grab my phone and when I checked the location, I was in the right spot. Just with the wrong crew... THEN, I asked for my two drinks from my mobile order (Both Americanos with slight variations- each with their own order from my phone) and was ACCUSED that I didn't order two drinks. (Well, you DEFINTELY charged me twice, Starbucks!) I was also then told that the "printer sometimes doesn't print the labels". The barista finally was paying attention to us, but she was making me feel like I wasn't a welcome or valuable customer at all. She made the other "missing" Americano after telling me "I only was told there was one". I went to drink mine, which had been waiting on the back counter the whole time and it was FREEZING. I ordered it hot. I was out to the car before I had a chance to sip it. I had to go BACK in and ask her politely to remake it, to which I got a response that it was sitting there awhile and must've taken me a bit to drive there. UMMMMMM NO!!!! Didn't you see me standing by the pick up area for 10 minutes trying to get your attention and not be rude while you ignored me?! She remade my drink, with attitude, of course. I politely thanked her and then it was off to the parking lot to try and get out of my spot. I was backing out of my spot when a giant truck started to creep up on me like it was going to hit me and block me off (They were going into the drive-thru); such a terrible design for this parking lot/location. I almost was in a verbal confrontation with the truck driver as they did not allow me to back out or leave my parking spot while the drive-thru line was about 5 cars deep and not moving at all. I FINALLY was able to squeak by, even though they almost hit my car and was able to leave this horrendous location. I visit Starbucks quite often (and I was a Barista once myself), and I have NEVER had this much of a problem with my mobile order (which is supposed to SAVE you time) or the staff being so rude or inconsiderate. Not once did I receive an apology or any shred of satisfying customer service. When I am in Lakeland, I will NEVER return to this location again based on this experience. I do not recommend going here at all.

I've been going to this Starbucks for years. From early morning drive through runs before highschool, to long hours studying for finals at night. This Starbucks is always open! The employees are so kind and if you make up crazy drink concoctions in your head like I do, they won't think twice about making it! The staff is so personable. I know, I've said it twice... But seriously... I love them! They have a lot of seating but it's usually pretty packed. I love sitting outside mid day when it's nice n sunny out. The new seats are so comfortable. NO LIE! I've fallen asleep out there quite a few times while studying.

I always order iced coffee which is pretty simple if you just listen to my order. It's either hit or miss on my coffee, I hate the misses because I'm paying $4 for a coffee that I can't drink because it has sugar, milk or either something else I can't have. Check your beverage before leaving the drive-thru!

Most people don't understand that the sheer volume of customers is the reason for the wait times. These baristas do an excellent job, their craft is perfect and if you don't like it they start from scratch with you. Don't like the wait? It's not their fault, they work their asses off at lightning speed to deliver service. Your drinks haven't been sitting there getting cold, they just arrived. Also, the lobby and the drive thru happen to be the same store! Keep rocking, lake Miriam.

For a starbucks, they should know about gluten intolerences. No one behind the counter knew what drinks did or did not have gluten so they told me that they all have gluten which is wrong. One of the workers was super sarcastic. I will not be coming back to this location.

Going through the drive through the person taking the order would not let us complete a sentence before saying "anything else". Rushing so much that clearly she didn't even get the order correct! Just about every part of the order was wrong. Had to ask 4 times for napkins. All would be fine, I understand mistakes and bad days happen. However the eye roll that my 10yo saw her do as she closed the window. We do pay double for the Starbucks service. Not annoyed baristas when they make the mistake.

Here's the deal. I love coffee. I love sitting outside in the cool, spring Florida weather. I love that Florida is a clean air state. However, I do not like that all three things mentioned above are ruined when I try to hang out with friends at a coffeehouse. Teenagers who smoke outside right next to the building are detrimental to what should be enjoyed as a coffeehouse and not a bar. If they are willing to be inconsiderate, at the very least Starbucks should designate a smoking area that isn't right next to the front door. Since indoor seating is limited especially for larger parties, this means that outdoor seating is the next best option. When outdoor seating becomes compromised because of inconsiderate individuals, Starbucks will inevitably lose customers who do not want to inhale smoke while trying to enjoy their drinks. Frustrated customers usually don't become repeat customers, which means Starbucks is losing on potential revenue. Starbucks, here is a solution: designate one side of the building for smokers and another side for nonsmokers. Anyone who wants to enjoy their coffee and pastries without secondhand smoke can do so. Smokers can also enjoy their time at Starbucks and everyone is happy.

This Starbucks I think has the most sitting area inside and out compare to others in lakeland. However, there are two things I don't like about this one.. 1. Turn your music down..its almost always so loud that is like a club in there.. If you want to read/study in a mild environment this is not the place. 2. WiFi.. range is terrible, If your outside on the patio its hard to get signal. Also if your inside, I gets disconnected often.. This has happened several times on several visits.. The best thing they have going is the STAFF.. they are always friendly..

Always out of stuff, parking lot is awful and employees rarely know about their products. They've told me my drink doesn't exist before. ..while it was advertised on a poster. They have to check to see if they have everything in stock when you order. If it's that busy, order more products. They've served me incorrect drinks multiple times and one time told me the sticker was just wrong.
