Starcamp Summer, Easter & Mid Term Camps

I was very disappointed with StarCamp in particular with the educational component, and the choice of material or song which my daughter was to practice for the show at the end of their time there. My daughter was 8 at the time and they were asked to sing pink pony club by Chappel Rohan, Wow! what aspirations in life to have and work towards, a stripper in a club in LA. Objectification of women to be reduced to a man or women's play thing. Well done StarCamp. I did call up and tried to speak to someone in Star Camp to get their viewpoint but was dismissed out of hand and told their was no reference to Striping ? I'm gonna keep on dancing at the Pink Pony Club Yegh right Nicholas

My daughter recently attended the star camp in Ratoath. Absolutely amazing. She did not want it to end. The staff / crew are so professional and fantastic with all of the kids. I cannot recommend enough. 5 stars. We will be signing up for Halloween camp and of course summer camp in 2026. Staff from my experience went above and beyond and you know you are leaving your children in safe hands. One of the best if not THE BEST!

I was not sure if my younger daughter would attend when I had to withdraw her big sister. Not only did she attend but we watched her flourish more and more with each passing day. It did wonders for her confidence and will be a huge help to her starting school in a few weeks. A special thanks to her teacher Summer who made her feel at ease from the start. We look forward to our next Starcamp.

What a camp if there was a button for amazing I would just hit it . My daughter and two nephews attended , now my daughters only 4 so I was unsure she would stay and enjoy it , she ran in the door every morning. My nephews are 5 &6 , the 6 year old was like I’m not going but I made him and when I collected him after day 1 he did not stop going on about it and couldn’t wait to go the next day , that pretty much sums up the fun they had . The little show on the Friday ❤️ BRING ON NEXT YEAR . Also the t shirts and hoody’s well worth buying top quality 🥰

Not safe for kids under 5, zero preparation for kids with special needs even though they take them in. My child has ADHD and was discriminated against. When I’ve raised the concern the office person made even more discriminatory comments about my child. I sat in the camp myself for a whole morning. 4 coaches for 45 kids of all ages, none of them engaged with the children leave alone entertaining them, if they treated the children this way with a parent in the room can’t imagine without a parent there. It’s only about money, not about the children. Needless to say I didn’t let my child attend next day.

Would classify these camps as unsafe. My experience was the camp in Shannon. Day one noticed that one young girl was looking after nearly 30 kids on her own, some with additional needs and observed her to be way out of her dept. Second day the young girl working there had notified my husband that my daughter had an accident but had reassured him that she asked my daughter did she need to go to the bathroom throughout the day. No update as to how long she was left in this condition. Submitted a complaint in the interest of safety for the kids as I felt one young girl looking after approx 30 kids was inappropriate. Niamh confirmed it is usually one member of staff in a class with the kids. Expressed my concern for this and was reassured “kids cannot leave the camp as the gates are secured”.. my initial concern wasn’t this, it was that one young girl simply can’t meet the needs of a classroom especially if there are kids with additional needs, I was assured that “we are an inclusive camp”. One person to nearly 30 kids and some with additional needs is not inclusive in my opinion.. This isn’t good enough for kids safety and I won’t be sending my child back.

My child loved every minute of his summer star camp - the dancing and singing and other activities, his group leader and of course the final performance! He couldn't wait to get going in the morning - I wish it was the same with school ;). Kudos to everyone involved in making it happen!

Big Shout out to the fantastic 🌟 Star-bulous Camp-tastic team this Summer! My daughter aged 6years old had the best time. Great staff and kids. Everyday, we had the biggest and warmest smile from the team! Awesome job and thank you so much. We will be back!!! ❤️
