Stardust Beach Hotel

Nice rooms, cabin style. It was clean and the shower water was cool. The hotel is located right on the beach. ||||Breakfast was amazing - you can order anything off the breakfast menu. The price is included in the room charge. ||||It's the first accomodation on the beach and easy to walk along the beach to the busy area for swimming. Loads of restaurants nearby. ||||They offer motorcycle rental, surf lessons and tuk tuk services.

Stardust Beach Hotel, is still a good place to stay. There have been lots of changes over the years in Arugam Bay but the Stardust is still a place I would recommend staying. A very easy going atmosphere with excellent food not just for breakfast but all of the meals. This part should be posted under the restuarant review..., the bread used for breakfast and the chicken sandwich are the best. Located at the North end of Arugam Bay it is a collection of buildings that are surrounded by the sounds of the ocean, the wind in the palms and rain on the roof. Sri Lanka was supposed to be the Land of the Lotus Eaters in the Iliad. It is not hard to believe I find myself losing track of time and ideas of what I am supposed to be doing. Stardust Beach Hotel is like this in a concentrated form. An excellent place to stay.

For five weeks we travelled all around the island looking for the perfect beach hotel. Finally, we found Stardust.|This was it. We knew it the moment we walked in.|It was so wonderful that we then stayed for almost six weeks, and enjoyed every minute of it.|The location is fabulous, in a garden right on the beach.|We stayed in Rainbow Village in a Cabana, which was perfect.|The staff are great and Lars, who co-owns and runs the place, became a real friend. |The food is of course delicious, especially the lobsters and giant prawns......not forgetting the butter chicken!|In fact we just had a totally fabulous time, and were really sad to leave, but had to catch our plane back home

A place to be ! We checked in to Star dust in August! We had very nice A.c. room in the main building , I should say really tastefully done. We found everything a person would want in this room, very cosy and cool! And simply blissfully falling asleep to the sounds of waves breaking.!😊We didn't even have to turn the A.c. on during the night as it was very nice clean and comfortable, we ordered chicken goulash! And it was out of this world, the potions were very generous! The beach was beautiful , with an assortment of beautiful seashells with quite interesting patterns the staff was really friendly and ever so helpful, we had two nights here and definitely coming again very soon along with my son !thank you Star dust for the amazing time we had!😊

Stardust Beach Hotel is placed right on the quiet and almost lonely beach in a distant corner of wonderful Sri Lanka. All year is high season, and Stardust gave us a fantastic service and served wonderful, organic food with a danish twist to Asian quisine in their beautiful restaurant under the high canopy. We could exercise yoga with professional teacher and enjoy swimming in the warm ocean waves. Best place we ever found in Sri Lanka.

Amazingly friendly staff and excellent service. The beach huts are clean and spacious (Beds are a little thin though , but it’s difficult to have fluffy beds near the sea in this humid climate). Food is good and you could just spend your time here, relaxing and letting the staff take care of you. Lars, the manager is very hospitable and the tuktuk driver Aziz is very accommodating to show you around and take you on safari. Go for the fish BBQ, it’s one for the tastebuds. Went during off-season and I think one of the best places to go in Arugambay.

A one of attractive place in srilanka. Very very beautiful. So many home stays and hotels. Best for surfing events. maximum safrety area. But we have to carefully with da muslims are big croud that town..|How ever all is well

As always it is so nice to be back in Arugam Bay. I have been coming here for several years, and thought that this time, after the Easter bombings, it would be different. It is not. I always stay at Stardust Beach Hotel, and here and in the bay, there is still the same very nice vibe ,friendly people and high quality of service, food and lodging.
