Stardust Big Bend

This was our first stay at Stardust Big Bend and we were so impressed with our host’s friendly, helpful, and attentive communication before our trip and for the duration of our stay. We stayed in A-frame 10 for four nights and it was complete with all the modern, comfortable, clean, and functional amenities you need. The outdoor spaces were thoughtfully designed to capture the beautiful sunrise and sunsets, desert and mountain views, and the stunning night skies. The location of Stardust is perfect for access to food, entertainment, and the park. We will absolutely stay again, this is a special place!

Fantastic place to stay and watch the wonders of the night sky and beautiful sunrise! The cabin is really great with an amazing patio! The bed is very comfy, and the pillows have options of firm or soft. The kitchen has everything needed. We were amazed that the fridge was a decent size. And there was quick service when we asked for more trash bags. I recommend reading the guidebook. It doesn’t include a food spot we found, but for Mexican food, we highly recommend going to Tivo’s Place Restaurant, just about 2 miles away.

We stayed at Stardust Big Bend and honestly, couldn’t wait to write a review about how wonderful this place is!! The A-Frame cabins are the perfect size and so well appointed! Yasir & Tooba thought of all the necessities. We came in with food and supplies but were pleasantly surprised to find many of the kitchen items were already stocked! I’m talking coffee, sugar, sugar substitutes, creamer, and a large selection of spices. The air fryer/toaster oven is a terrific addition to the unit; it toasts, fries, and bakes. (We were able to bake potatoes while the steaks were grilling.) The property is so well laid out. All the outdoor seating was very comfortable for hours of star gazing and watching the beautiful sunsets/sunrises. The contact with the hosts was perfect. They emailed and texted instructions for entry and then again with property tips and later to ensure we had everything we needed. Yasir & Tooba, thank you for the experience your property gave us during our visit to Big Bend. We are already planning a return trip!

Simple, clean, beautiful. I book places to stay for the views and charm. Stardust did not disappoint! The desert and mountains on the skyline were gorgeous. The night sky was perfect. We notified the hosts of our 4 preteens/teens and were happy to pay the fee for extra occupants to get to stay together here. Extra bedding was provided and the space was just fine for a big family used to being in tight spaces together. We didn’t cook this trip, but we easily could have with all of the supplies. Would definitely stay again!

Wholeheartedly recommend staying here! The accommodations are beautiful and everything was so well thought out, nothing overlooked. Lots of little touches made our stay more enjoyable. The scenery is even more beautiful than in the pictures. Incredible views from all around the property. Sunset, sunrises and stargazing are all wonderful here!! Great location also, near Terlingua and Big Bend National Park.

The Stardust was an awesome place to stay in Terlingua. It was in a great location just a few minutes drive to the town of Terlingua and about 20 minutes to Big Bend National Park. We loved sitting outside on the porch in the evening looking at the stars. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some meals. It even has a small dishwasher! This definitely has to be the best place in the area to stay. We will definitely be back!

This trip was epic!! Our stay was fantastic. I have stayed at many places but none that checked all of the boxes. This place is fantastic for large family groups as each person can go back to their perspective rentals but also meet up for dinner or in the game room. They are close to a dollar store and close to big bend. The stars at night are epic! I highly recommend staying. We did an extended cousins trip for Thanksgiving.

First time with our family of four to Terlingua. Stayed the night at this amazing rental before our day trip into Big Bend. Both the inside and outside of the A-frames are wonderful and offer plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The nighttime environment provides star gazing beyond anyone’s wildest imagination. Also, having a kitchen of this capacity while traveling with teenagers is a plus also. The hosts were engaging with us via emails and texts, which we greatly appreciate. Definitely book directly through the owners! We highly recommend this experience for any family or couple. We cannot wait to return!!!

We stayed in the A frame and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The owners thought of everything. It was fully stocked with everything you needed and more. The game room had plenty of games, pool, foosball, air hockey, etc. They let you know the best places to get food, groceries, and gas. If you needed anything, their response was very quick. The views and stargazing were out of this world. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

our first visit to big bend was made all the better when we booked an A-frame cabin. what a gem! big clean modern bath (walk in shower) and fully equipped (with dishwasher!) kitchen. property management is responsive and helpful. the property and grounds are clean. guests respect the "low light" suggestion- so the stars are big and bright! highly recommend!
