Stardust Big Bend

We loved our stay at Stardust! It was very close to Big Bend National Park, which made exploring so easy. The amenities were perfect for our family of five. We stayed in the cottage, and it truly had everything we needed. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the porch. After long days of hiking, the kids loved spending time in the clubhouse playing games while the parents were able to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back!

Stardust Big Bend was the ideal spot for our family getaway! We booked two of the beautiful A-frames, and the setup was perfect. The home was thoughtfully stocked with all the essentials, making life so much easier travelling with family. The hosts were warm, responsive, and clearly put heart into every detail. This was our second stay at this absolute gem of a vacation rental, and it was even better than the first! The location is unbeatable - breathtaking desert and mountain views and just 5 minutes from the Big Bend National Park entrance, groceries, restaurants, and the Terlingua ghost town. We loved using the BBQ grills for a family dinner outdoors, and the fire pit became our nightly ritual. The night sky was absolutely magical - crystal clear skies with zero light pollution, and the outdoor space made it easy to just sit back and marvel at the Milky Way. We’d return in a heartbeat and can’t recommend Stardust Big Bend enough for anyone seeking a special Big Bend escape. 5 stars! 🌟🌵

We stayed at Stardust Big Bend for three nights while exploring Big Bend National Park and doing several hikes, and it was absolutely perfect. From the start, the hosts provided clear instructions on how to get there and gave us very helpful recommendations on where to fuel up on the way to Terlingua—super important since there are long stretches without gas stations or cell service. The cabin itself was flawless: spotless, well organized, and incredibly comfortable. You can tell they thought of every little detail. It has all the amenities you could possibly need, including a grill, fire pit, hammock, lounge area, and outdoor chairs that are perfect for enjoying both sunrise and sunset. They even provide a utility cart wagon to easily carry your luggage from the car to the cabin, which was a very thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated their commitment to keeping outdoor lighting low to preserve the night sky. While you can enjoy the stars from the property, we highly recommend heading into the park at night for truly breathtaking stargazing. One thing to note is that restaurant options in Terlingua are very limited, so we recommend bringing your own groceries. The cabin is fully equipped for cooking, with all the utensils you need (even grill cutlery) making it easy and enjoyable to prepare your own meals. Overall, Stardust Big Bend was the perfect home base for our Big Bend adventure. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I highly recommend staying at Stardust Big Bend if visiting the national park or Terlingua area. Prior to arrival, the hosts provided detailed information regarding the area that helped significantly when planning my roadtrip. The A-frame I stayed in was modern and was fully stocked with kitchen supplies, bedding, and towels that were needed for the weekend. The club house was a fun way to spend some down time. The property is beautiful, with BIg Bend in the view during the day, and amazing for stargazing at night.

We stayed at Stardust Big Bend and honestly, couldn’t wait to write a review about how wonderful this place is!! The A-Frame cabins are the perfect size and so well appointed! Yasir & Tooba thought of all the necessities. We came in with food and supplies but were pleasantly surprised to find many of the kitchen items were already stocked! I’m talking coffee, sugar, sugar substitutes, creamer, and a large selection of spices. The air fryer/toaster oven is a terrific addition to the unit; it toasts, fries, and bakes. (We were able to bake potatoes while the steaks were grilling.) The property is so well laid out. All the outdoor seating was very comfortable for hours of star gazing and watching the beautiful sunsets/sunrises. The contact with the hosts was perfect. They emailed and texted instructions for entry and then again with property tips and later to ensure we had everything we needed. Yasir & Tooba, thank you for the experience your property gave us during our visit to Big Bend. We are already planning a return trip!

I will 100% recommend this property to all of our friends and family! The A-frame was beautiful, clean, and stocked with everything you could need. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in bed early each morning while we watched the sunrise from the bedroom window. Next time we will try to book a cabin that is a bit further from the road - the headlights from passing cars seem to hit cabin #3 head on - but we just ended up sitting on the other side of our patio at night to enjoy the stars. The location was great and everything is a short drive away. We will definitely be back to explore more of Big Bend and will stay here every time.

Stardust Big Bend was the perfect place for our stay. The location truly couldn’t be better… close to the Big Bend National Park entrance and the Terlingua ghost town, yet peaceful and ideal for soaking in the desert surroundings. The home was very well stocked with everything we needed, which made traveling with kids so much easier. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, and you can tell they’ve thought through all the details. Our kids absolutely loved the game room — it was a huge bonus after long days of exploring. And at night… wow. The setup for stargazing was unbeatable. Clear skies, minimal light pollution, and the perfect outdoor space to take it all in. Comfortable, clean, new, thoughtfully designed, and in an unbeatable location. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Stardust Big Bend to anyone visiting the area.

This place is perfect for families. It has a commanding view of the mountains, perfect for sunrise and sunset views. From the get-go the hotel owners were easy to reach and communicated well with us during the whole stay. The cabin we stayed at was in prestine condition. There were easy to follow instructions everywhere so it was to navigate the cabin rules. The internet connection was strong too and allowed us to connect to the internet when needed, but with an excellent view like this place had, you won't need to be in your phone. This place is perfect to disconnect to connect. My family and I had an amazing experience and will definitely get this place again the next time we visit Big Bend NP.

We stayed in the A frame and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The owners thought of everything. It was fully stocked with everything you needed and more. The game room had plenty of games, pool, foosball, air hockey, etc. They let you know the best places to get food, groceries, and gas. If you needed anything, their response was very quick. The views and stargazing were out of this world. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

our first visit to big bend was made all the better when we booked an A-frame cabin. what a gem! big clean modern bath (walk in shower) and fully equipped (with dishwasher!) kitchen. property management is responsive and helpful. the property and grounds are clean. guests respect the "low light" suggestion- so the stars are big and bright! highly recommend!
