Starfish & Coffee

Such a lovely café/brunch spot which is a local favourite, but also worth travelling to if you’re in London. Great and diverse offering on the menu, full of options with lots of flavours and inspiration from around the world (Turkish Eggs, Creole Chicken & Waffle, etc.), but also the option to customise a bit with so many side dishes available. We came in on Valentine’s Day and they had the most amazing French Toast as a special menu item for the day, and plated up so beautifully. Lovely selection of cakes (of varying dietary inclusivity), and hot drinks on offer as well. Definitely recommend if you are in the Palmers Green/Southgate area, great & personable service, and it’s always lovely to see the owner around who is just so passionate about the café!

The pink latte was pink! We ordered prawns, chicken, sour dough bread with olive oil and peppers, which was all flavoursome. The chicken was cold. Upon informing the waiter he swiftly removed it and had another made fresh, which was delicious. Very nice experience. Oh, and the cocktails is not short of a kick, so worth the £

Great new and improved menu including a kids menu which is brilliant! My son polished off his lunch with no problem which is a win in my book. Lovely little place in Palmers Green. Thanks Starfish!

Hands down the best brunch place and up there with the best food in Palmer’s Green. We had the Autumn mushrooms and the Creole Waffles, both of which the perfect fusion of different cuisines. Many restaurants & cafes attempt it it comes off as affectatious and confusing, Starfish is the place that they are trying to be! The decor and the staff were amazing. Had the most delicious Sunday lunch at Starfish Loves Coffee last week. The service is impeccable, beautiful home cooked and well presented food (they just do 2 menu options on Sunday lunch- so very fresh). The lamb shank was cooked to perfection and fell off the bone. Served with creamy mashed potato and kale. Also had a great Bloody Mary and a good flat white to round things off. Absolutely love the atmosphere and vibe of this place. Also just hired it for my significant birthday party on a Saturday night and Aykut, Danny and the team were just amazing 🤩

Today I went this cafe with my friend , who highly recommends , and found very cosy atmosphere with a very warm welcoming waitress, I forgot to ask his name but if you go there his energy surrounds you instantly. We offered waffle and beetroot latte. Waffle was fresh and tasty, latte was different for me, that was the first time ı tried, but was absolutely fine. So I like, and recommend, ı think I will visits so pften… ,

We had our wonderful party there and we were so happy we chose this place. The place was ready on time, exactly how it was planned, the service was amazing, attentive and friendly throughout the night. It was one of our best parties!

Beautiful place. This cafe/ bar moves seamlessly from day to night. The tapas were delicious and reasonably priced. There was a good range of cocktails and Prosecco on tap! We can to celebrate a birthday and they were very accommodating.

Nice little cafe. I had the chicken and waffles. Coffee is one of the best I've had. Great service and friendly staff.
