Starfish

We had beautiful lunch at starfish deli, first thing I want to say thanks with the team from the restaurant their was so helpful and friendly, the menu so many options to choose between Italian and Asian cuisine, their quality ingredients very fresh and valua money for my family .

Nice spot by the water with plenty of seating & great views. Food was great all were happy with their choices, Kids loved there curly fries.

Nice location but service not great and food whilst being good size servings, average. Perhaps being school holidays and a very busy time of the year, had an overall effect on food/service

Four of us had lunch here last Monday. The location and view were amazing, and the restaurant was clean and nicely presented. Maybe the usual chef was having a day off because sadly, the food was not up to expectations. The four of us ordered garlic bread followed by salt and pepper seafood salad. The garlic bread arrived almost cold. The seafood salad was so liberally squirted with mayo that this was the dominant colour and flavour. I was able to drag two heaped dessert spoons of it to the side of my plate so it wouldn’t be so excessive. The fish and calamari weren’t fresh and the seafood servings were small. We were all poking through the salad hoping to find a third prawn as these were the nicest feature. The salad was fresh though swimming in an oily dressing, and there was so much crunchy chopped carrot sticks that we couldn’t eat it all. We were all disappointed with our meals as this was not the efforts of a true chef, and vowed never to return. This restaurant could be such a great eating place with its amazing location, hence this review to hopefully bring about some positive change.

Every time I am in Batemans bay I go to starfish. The staff are always very friendly. I enjoy the salads.

Very impressed. Accommodated us last minute - a party of 8 and just before last orders. Staff were all very friendly and the food was fabulous and the menu clearly marked allergens. We had a bunch of different meals and everyone was happy Will definitely be back.

You'll find this spot is alongside the pier. Very beautiful location to lookout at boats, mountains in the distance, and heaps of people taking a stroll down and up. Seagulls and pelicans are popular here. Me and my partner came in for coffee only. Very delicious coffees. The food that came past us looked very delicious as well, looked like some tacos. However, at the time, our appetite wasn't there. If you're ever down here and the weather is great, definitely sit outside such a beautiful location.

Pizza was average for the price, we tried the Seafood Pizza and the Supreme Pizza, the pizza dough was kind of flat, I wanted it to be more bready. Curly fries was a bit dry, probably a bit overcooked. The Starfish spaghetti was nice and creamy with plenty of bacon and prawns. I think the location of the place is nice, but the food doesn't match the price.
