We had a wonderful experience at Starfish. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, especially to our family. They made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, which really means a lot when dining with family. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable, offering great value for money. Portions were generous and everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared. The restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere, perfect for dining with kids. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable meal, and we truly appreciated the excellent service. Highly recommended for families looking for good food, good prices, and amazing staff. We will definitely be coming back!

Location was lovely and staff were nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the food wasn't what I'd hoped considering the price. The grilled fish of the day was small and the fish was overcooked and dry. The oysters Kilpatrick were nice, but the prawn salad was underwhelming. Overall, there were lots of options in town and I'd try something else.

A lovely cafe on the Batemans Bay waterfront. We sat inside at a window table, as it was windy outside, but we still got a lovely view of the water. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. We ordered the Sticky Pork and Prawn Salad and the Salt and Pepper Seafood Salad, both were delicious and were washed down with a couple of on tap beers. The wait staff were efficient and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. We go to Batemans Bay a couple of times a year , this is the first time we have been to the Starfish Cafe but it will not be our last!

Food was fantastic, will definitely be coming back for more! The staff were very friendly and kind. The interior it’s nice and modern, and looking over the water while eating my food was really special. I ordered the pork prawn salad is definitely a new favourite! The salad was fresh while the prawns and pork were packed with flavour.

Ate breakfast at the location 2 days back. There were 4 of us. 3 of us got our breakfast in 10 mins. Had the time to finish then the 4th eggs on toast came. Ordered a scrambled which was more of a fried egg. Halfway through found a big piece of eggshell in the egg. Not a small piece. A huge piece. The girl was kind enough to waive the food and 1 coffee off. Overall food was just average. French toast was dry and not flavourful. Save your money and avoid this place

We have travelled the East Coast of Vic & NSW for the last few weeks from Melbourne and found a real lack of places that offer meals other than basic pub food. We were pleasantly surprised to find Starfish & loved their menu and service. Even better was that they were open all afternoon as opposed to all other places being strictly 12-2 ( or earlier ) or not even been open at all this time of year. I had a lovely Nasi Goreng on one occasion and a calamari salad the next day. Super friendly owners and quick service. Highly recommend!

What a lovely place to enjoy dinner. Had pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them. The view was amazing.

This restaurant in Batemans Bay definitely cannot go unnoticed because it’s right in front of the Murrays Bus Stop and has such an incredible view! After a quick look around the area, we decided to stop by at this place itself for a brunch before we explored the rest of Batemans Bay. My avocado toast was pleasantly interesting because it had feta cheese and edamame topped over it, a combination I never thought would go well. The staff is kind and prompt and they have both indoor and outdoor seating which is great as you can choose where to dine depending on the weather while enjoying the scenic view 🌊🩵 My latte was good too

Most excellent oysters available and a perfect location right next to the estuary making for a pleasant evenings dinner. The Starfish Spaghetti also looked good.

With limited options in Batemans Bay, you could do a lot worse than to end up at The Starfish Deli. The location undeniably can't be beat, the service is sweet and efficient, and you won't be short on meal options, even if you're dealing with a food allergy/aversion. The food was... fine. I think we would have done much better by sticking to seafood (the rock oysters and shared fish platter looked stunning) instead of venturing into some more gourmet choices further down the menu. The wood-fired margarita pizza was more thick cheese-bready than light, fluffy and blackened-blistered, so I'd avoid pizza completely and instead go for something like the anitpasto platter, which was well stocked and delicious. While The Starfish might not satisfy your epicurean longings, it'll certainly fill you up in that "cheap 'n' cheerful" way that is sure tough not to like.

This is how I fantasise about pizzas being. I'm usually carb-free so it needs to be damn good to make me happy. I'm happy

Very disappointed. Had lunch here today and my first two choices were unavailable. My sat and pepper squid was extremely dry and bland. My husband and brother in law ordered the share platter which was small and full of deep friend food absolutely swimming in oil, even the salmon! The chips were very dark and had obviously been over cooked or cooked on a very old oil. They were rock hard and orange/ brown. We were offered a "sorry we will let the chef know" and that is all.

Urrrgh not great !!!! I had the prawn & chorizo linguine, well it was chopped nasty kransky sausage & it was swimming in grease from the sausage (like 7 - 8mm deep in grease). To top it all off the place was swarming with flies

Not flexible. Had only poached & scrambled egg on menu, but wasn't flexible enough to do fried eggs. On top of that, 15% holiday surcharge.

Without fail, the best oysters kilpatrick... I come here as often as I can when visiting and today like usual did not disappoint. Must have been my lucky day too, a few extra oysters snuck in. If you are an oyster fan, be sure to try the south coast oysters. Starfish Deli have the freshest I've come across and always consistent too. The view just tops it off, just gorgeous.

There aren't many choices in winter so we were lucky the Starfish was open. The entire cafe has lovely views of the harbor. The seafood platter was an excellent sampler of skilled fish preparation. The swordfish steak was well prepared and not dry at all. The brownie we ordered for dessert came with cream and ice cream at no extra charge and was sized to share. I appreciated that they had a mushroom risotto vegetarian entree option. We didn't order pizza, but saw several go by and they looked and smelled delicious.

Beautiful woodfired pizza... Very reasonable pricing...fast delivery. Lovely staff...really enjoyed my dinner ....
