Stargazing Joshua Tree

This was hands down the best tour of the night sky I have ever experienced. I have attended other dark sky festivals, including the one in Death Valley where NASA scientists present, and while the guide here was not a NASA astrophysicist, they were incredibly knowledgeable about constellations, space, and astrophysics. The setting itself was unreal. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking, the telescopes were top notch, and the surrounding environment made the experience unforgettable. Small touches like beanbags, chocolates, and drinks made it feel comfortable and welcoming in a way most tours never achieve. I usually find it hard to justify the price of tours, but in this case the value was beyond what I expected. It felt worth every dollar, and honestly even if the price were doubled it would still be worth it. Seeing the Milky Way with my own eyes for the first time was indescribable and something I will never forget. If I ever return, I would do this tour again without hesitation. Absolutely the best and zero regrets.

Wow! What an awesome experience! I didn’t know what I was walking into and now I have a totally new appreciation for astronomy. Our guide and staff were phenomenal! Answered all and any questions we had no matter how daft they were, complementary hot beverages, chocolates and stickers, oh and also follow up photographs to remember your experience. First we were lead down a path of planetary knowledge, then into a laidback bean bag chair with binoculars and laser pointer to point out the numerous constellations, later we were let loose on their multiple telescopes pre orientated at celestial bodies. It makes you feel so small! But in a good way… Honestly, if you’re reading this you must be somewhat tempted? just do it. You won’t regret it!

This was an experience worth doing! The tour was fantastic and I really appreciated the breakdown of the solar system / each planet! The night sky is so dark stars become so visible!

We loved it! Always have wanted to do a star tour. Experience was awesome and reinforced my lack of understanding space. Glad they brought humor to the event. Highly recommend this tour if you get the chance in Joshua Tree. Great communication from the host. (It has to be remote to be away from lights)

This was an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Matt, was very knowledgeable, funny, and engaged us all. The telescopes were awesome, the setting was perfect - even if cold for this time of year. We had beanbags and warm blankets and even hot chocolate! Walking between the planets on the way to the viewing area was super cool and began the tour perfectly. Thank you for these wonderful memories and pictures!

Such an awesome guide — and everyone involved in this experience! Everything was great and super informative. The team really cares about quality: they constantly check the weather and sky conditions the day before to make sure you have the best possible experience. Everything on site is super easy and convenient. I’m definitely going again!

My experience was incredible with Stargazing Joshua Tree! They are very knowledgeable, entertaining, and the hospitality is so thoughtful. Hot chocolate and galaxies, yes please! I really appreciate that they send you photos from the telescopes and take your picture, all included! The directions and getting there are very clear and well marked, just a fantastic experience from start to finish.
