We visited Restoran Stari grad based on a local’s recommendation, and it turned out to be the highlight of our culinary experience. The waiter suggested we try the traditional Bosanski lonac (Bosnian pot), and it was absolutely phenomenal — rich, hearty, and full of flavor, served in a beautiful clay pot that kept it warm to the last spoonful.||The service was fast and friendly; we waited less than 10 minutes for our meal, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The ambiance is charming, with a warm, rustic interior that evokes a sense of home and tradition.||One of the most fascinating features of the restaurant is the glass floor section, revealing an actual archaeological site beneath. Dining above ancient stone ruins was an unforgettable experience and added a unique historical dimension to our visit.||Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Bosnian cuisine in a setting that bridges past and present. We will definitely be back!

A little gem of a hotel tucked away in the centre of town. The service was excellent with Dino being particularly helpful. We don’t often choose to eat in our hotel but we made an exception here and the local dishes were delicious. Thank you!

Spent two nights here in this fine hotel and beautiful town. Shout out to Dino who was really friendly and interesting to talk to in the morning. He is a big asset to the hotel . The hotel is right in the centre of the town. Nice bread at breakfast also

I stayed here as a solo traveller in 2023. This hotel was recommended by my guide book, and it looks like it is one of only hotels actually located within Old Town. As a result, the location is excellent. The hotel has a very nice rustic old charm to it (although my understanding is that it is not an old hotel). Many reviews commented on the small rooms, and that is true, however there is ample storage space in the closet. Breakfast is included with your stay, and I felt that it was on par with other 3-star hotels I stayed in in Bosnia and Herzegovina (boiled egg, yoghurt, bread, pastries, cold cut meat, cheese, etc.). What really made the stay excellent was the hotel staff (specifically Dino). I can tell Dino tries to create a hostel-type vibe by making the common area inviting.

A small hotel in the very center of Jajce. Rooms rather obsolete, but their little restaurant that was also their lobby served very good food besides having remains of an old Turkish bath under their glass floor.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the old town and close to the waterfalls and castle. Very spacious room with good facilities. This stay was made special by the wonderfully friendly staff including Kerima and Dino. We ate dinner in the evening and we would definitely recommend the food, which was amazing and it was great chatting with Kerima too. We really enjoyed breakfast as well and our chat with Dino. thanks for a great experience.

We were upgraded to a suite when we arrived which gave us lots of room and a good value as well. Our room was large, nicely appointed and well maintained. In passing other rooms, we noted that they were very small which confirmed our good luck. The location is central, making sights and restaurants a short walk. The staff is pleasant and helpful. On the down side, there is no room safe, the breakfast is probably the skimpiest in Bosnia, and the room is not serviced daily. They claimed that that is normal in Europe. My experience is that it is not normal anywhere.
