I recently stayed at the Starling Hotel Lausanne, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. From the moment I arrived, the service was below expectations. The check-in process was slow, and the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping.
The room itself was outdated and poorly maintained. The furniture looked tired, and there were several stains on the carpet. I also had trouble with the air conditioning, which either blasted cold air or didn’t work at all. Despite requesting assistance, nothing was done to fix the issue during my stay.
The hotel’s amenities were also underwhelming. The supposed “luxury” spa was just a small, cramped area with no privacy, and the fitness center was poorly equipped. I also found the restaurant to be overpriced, with mediocre food that didn’t live up to the hotel's claimed standards.
Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Starling Hotel Lausanne. It did not provide the level of comfort or service I was expecting from a hotel of this caliber. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend it to others looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay.
