State Art Museum of Adjara

This is a very good museum with lots of paintings by Georgian artists as well as some foreign ones. Nevertheless, it’s in very poor condition and needs renovation to preserve all the gathered artifacts. The staff is helpful and nice, but the overall condition of some zones is truly alarming! Someone definitely needs to invest money in this place

Small gallery on two floors with diverse paintings in terms of style and technique. There is even a small work of great Aivazovsky and a couple of interesting sculptures. For city visitors it’s a nice place to get into the local culture with several paintings of Batumi itself. There are chairs to rest, the tickets are not expensive, and the staff is friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place ! Has a few cool paintings, easy to find , 6 gel a ticket , chilled atmosphere and very enjoyable to spend some time there
