Great place if you are in the northern part of Denver. Our server Danika was amazing and the atmosphere and food was top notch. Stop by after a flight totally random and it hit the spot for comfort food. Had the beef stroganoff and my wife had the country fried steak. Was plenty to take and drinks were great. Great place if you wanna watch the game and have a good bite.

Was not crowded. We were greated promptly and seated quickly. Good food at reasonable price.

Been here a few times and decided to go here since my flight was delayed by a few hours. Their happy hour is so good and beer selection follows closely. Great conversations with locals as well and their artichoke dip was out of this world delicious.

Food is okay Stroganoff wasn't bad country fried steak was kind of tough bland had no flavor mac and cheese same thing kind of had the same theme as most brewhouses or I don't know just seem like every other place

Had a Blackened Salmon with Sweet Potato Fries and the seasonal veggies. Well cooked, delicious and priced quite reasonably.

We had a great experience at state house! Food was good, atmosphere was great and the service was excellent!! I dropped my leftovers after we ate and the manger gave us a whole one to go! Made sure we had a great experience and our server was very nice and attentive:)

This is an excellent spot! It has a low-key bine and was great for a date! We had the Colorado burger and the Cobb salad, which were excellent. Not too far from the airport. An excellent spot to go with kids and a great experience!

The food is always great and the service by Kyle S is always incredible at the bar. She's so friendly and on top of his game and we really appreciate him every time we come in. Bring back the elk sandwich though.

Decided to eat here with friends and loved it. Had the option of sitting outside with an amazing sunset. Service was great; the waitresses were very attentive to the few groups that were outside. Food came out quick too. Thanks state house for making our last meal on our Colorado trip a great time.

If I could leave ZERO STARS I WOULD. Waitress gave us one second to look at the drink menu before asking us what we wanted. Then we were told our menu was "out dated" when trying to order a beer from it and that they didn't have that beer. The beer they gave us was FLAT ( we had to order a different one) . Our artichoke dip appetizer took so long and it came to us lukewarm on a skillet I could hold with both hands ( a skillet should be piping hot) the dip itself tasted good that was it. My burger was a little too under, the fries were again barley warm, the breaded steak needed salt ... partner says it was "just ok". No one looked like they were there to work, if there isn't a uniform for the restaurant that is fine, but they could at least try to look presentable, they just looked like they rolled out of bed. The place inside looks nice, it has potential to be a better restaurant with better food and service. The only thing I was happy with was my gin&tonic.

Get the ultimate bloody on Sunday. There is plenty of tvs to WTH your favorite game.

Great place to watch a game. Reminded me of a Bdubs but nicer. Had all of the NFL games on. Had the biscuits and gravy. It was pretty good but came out a little cold. If you are looking for a great place to watch a game this is it. The food is a secondary for me here. Service was pretty good and they understood most people were there to watch the game. Lot looked full but plenty of parking.

Had the tenders and fries and it was okay. Service was really slow but friendly. Will try again. maybe just working through some kinks

There are some real stand out items on their menu. This salad is the best salad you can get in the Reunion area, yes even better than Dions. It's a little pricey at $17 but it's a large serving and liberally dressed. The salmon is always cooked perfectly- crispy exterior, moist flaky interior. Most of the servers here take a lot of pride in their work, quick friendly service, very few errors. A few other stand out menu items: the espresso martini. state 38 burger with fries. Brussel sprout appetizer. The Rachel sandwich. Boulder gold wings (they're not the meatiest wings but decent serving size for the price). Stroganoff pasta. Sriracha shrimp appetizer.

The food was great. Nice size portions. The service was great as well. We got sat down after a 1 minute wait. Me and my kids went on a Sunday for lunch. Definitely will go back had tons of tv with sports on so BF will enjoy. Over great atmosphere and chill. Definitely sports bar worth coming back

Dined at State House 38 tonight and after seeing some of the reviews I'm not going to lie I was wondering if we should turn around. I'm glad we didn't we enjoyed our meal. We had Johanna as our waitress and she was a boss. She was able to handle all the people at the bar plus our tables with the greatest of ease. Kudos Johanna. We started out with the bang bang shrimp which were good. The sauce was sweet and spicy and there was plenty of it. I got the Buffalo chicken wrap and it was really good. Plenty of buffalo sauce and the dressing that was with it added to the wrap well. My husband got the cheesesteak and had plenty of cheese and would definitely order it again. If we lived closer I would have had a few beers on their outdoor patio.

Stopped in for lunch today and ordered the green chili soup and hot wings. SUPER DELICIOUS The service by BEKAH was excellent and she was super efficient and had a beautiful smile. The ambiance inside super nice. Highly recommend

Stopped by here for the second time in two years. This place was disappointing both times I have been here. I wish it was good because it's in my neighborhood, however it's nothing to write home about. I would describe most of the food as being bland. Both Salad dressing tasted strange. I was very happy with the size of salads, I just wish the items in the salad had more flavor. The waitress was attentive and the food came out fast. We started with spinach artichoke dip, a little watery and left something to be desired 5.5/10. We also shared crispy shrimp, a little dull with raw cabbage 5/10. For entrees we had a buffalo chicken salad 6.5/10 and a Cobb salad 5/10. Like I had described earlier, lots of good things in the salad, except flavor. It felt like the items in the salad were made days in advance and they had been refrigerated a week prior. We also had a fish and chips, which was alright, the fish was a 7/10, the fries 3/10 and the Cole slaw was bland, 3/10. Finished the meal off with a piece of carrot cake, this was decent, frosting was a little sweet 6/10. All in all I will probably come back here at some point, however I am in no rush.

Kyle S.'s service was spectacular and the Mexican Skillet was delicious. One of my absolute favorite brunch places. Plus the patio was the perfect place to hang out. I will be a definitely be back over and over again!

This place is great! Cozy atmosphere, comforting menu and great food. The hostess, bartender and manager are all incredibly nice! A must visit and get the carrot cake!

The food was perfectly cooked and made. The service was quick and I was out of there in 50 minutes! The dog patio is very nice and the inside is nicely decorated, and a lot of tvs.

Service was slow surprisingly, like 5-10 minutes for a beer and glass of wine. I don't blame the waitresses for that (she was great), that's on the bar tender who apparently was encased in a glacier moving backward in time. Green chili was really good. The place itself is awesome and very spacious. I could see this place rocking on a weekend evening, I would come back but I would say something to the bar tender:)

Went for lunch after a long day of traveling to Denver - service was great and super friendly!! Drinks were strong but delicious. Best chicken tenders I've had in a long time and the ranch was amazing!!! Will definitely be back!!

Food is good and reasonable. We haven't gone wrong yet and we've been there a lot! I like the brunches on Sundays with a bucket of mimosas.

I really wanted to enjoy this place because it's right down the street from my house. I was very unimpressed with the quality of the food I received and the price was a bit high for the quality. I would not visit again.

Service was great! Refills were on the money, but not enough ice. Skillet queso was solid definitely recommend. Honey mustard chicken sandwich was good a little too much sauce. Chicken fried steak was not good (avoid). Wings were big with plenty of meat & great flavor options.

Was a little worried after reading reviews, but we stayed at Airbnb in Commerce City and had zero energy after a long day of driving. So we gave it a shot... And I'm so glad we did! Service was prompt and attentive, environment is casual and not too loud, menu is extensive enough for everyone to pick something, price was reasonable. I got beef stroganoff and husband had chicken fried steak. It was yummy and portions are large. They have kids menu for $6 (nothing special there but was happy I could feed my 2 kids for $6 each) I had a really good time and good experience there, highly recommend. Thank you!

Another disappointing visit ti State House 38. We have a VERY limited choice of menus in Reunion area of Commerce City. So I decided to give this place another try. My friend and I sat in the bar, by choice, since the dining room was totally empty on a Friday night at 4 PM. We both had a glass of wine, which was fine. Then we both ordered the Rachael. It came out on a very thin half warmed slice of what looked like a cheap imitation of wonder white bread. There was basically 1 thick slice of turkey, some coleslaw and some watery thousands island dressing and I don't remember even seeing a slice of cheese.The sandwich was not even 1 inch thick. The fries were greasy, but eatable. So disappointed, I really wanted this trip to be successful, since there are basically no other sit down options within 10 mile radius. UGH!!!!!

This place is awesome totally recommend it Last time we were here we got some burgers and both come out charred after finding this out we called our waitress who sent over the manager to talk to us and apologized for the situation and was able to send over new fresh food Totally made everything better by offering to give us free drinks along with the food I would say it's one of my favorite places near my place and since we haven't experienced any problems with our order we are totally coming back.

I stopped in after mowing the lawn on a hot Saturday in July. My pretense was to pick up lunch to share with my wife at home. The ulterior motive was to enjoy a "much deserved" frosty beverage. The bartender "Meghan" was super welcoming and drew me a Juice Drop in a frosty glass. I felt the cool liquid refreshing me. I then ordered the Fish and Chips to go. It has always been perfect in past visits, and did not disappoint. 4 nice pieces of battered cod, great fries and coleslaw. Definitely a great experience.

Great place to get lunch. Our server was great with recommendations and kept our water glasses full. Plenty of area for seating that didn't feel crowded. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for a good meal.

Great atmosphere, great menu choices, great service, and great food. My burger was delicious, but the cup of green chili was Slap Yo Momma Good !!! Our waitress was friendly, professional, and spot on.

State House did it again! The service is always very good, the staff are so friendly and even on a busy friday night our food came quick and was delicious. We had the Spinach Artichoke Dip to start and it was super yummy!! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese, the Reunion BLT, Shepards Pie, and their Fish and all were just so delicious, nobody had even a little critique. The price is great & you get huge portions. (Didn't get the best pictures i know) Even though it's a little loud in there it never feels squished or crowded, they outdo themselves every time.

Make your own it'll be way better and cheaper. I had to try it once. Maybe there burgers would be better and the flies are terrible. Would highly recommend somewhere else.

Amazing food and service! I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. The Ruben sandwich was amazing and the drinks are great.

So far the water with the lemon is pretty good, could be a little colder but would drink water here again !

The servers here are so kind and friendly and also appreciate their patrons! I feel they go the extra mile to care and give the best service! Management seems to care a lot about the client experience too. Almost each time, we get checked in by a manager who checks on tables, which is a nice touch! Have frequented this place many times and favorites include: Bang Bang Shrimp, Chicken Wings, Nachos, Buffalo Chicken Wrap, and their mashed potatos!! A star off as I wish they would have a few more options for appetizers and dinner selections. But the state house will also get my business due to the great staff, tasty food, and quick service!!!

Service was nice and slow, haha, but I didn't mind the slowness. I had nowhere to be. Menu had a good mix of typical bar food and healthier items. Breakfast came out piping hot and was very filling. I want to try this place again, because I think it'd be easy for them to get four stars if service wasn't so slow and they came around to the table more. They were so friendly when they did come by. I really wanted to give them a higher rating. Maybe when I go back I'll get better service and then they'd be a four for sure! Also, parking is plentiful and lots of TVs inside.

The service was not the greatest. Waited in the front to be seated as the hostess walked by several times and didn't acknowledge us there. The person who took our order was nice and attentive. Suggested some food and appetizers. The soup of the day was amazing g, some type of southwestern flavor to it. Burger was okay.

20+ televisions...won't change 1 to a different game. Defeated the entire purpose for my family and I coming here.

I wish this were my neighborhood pub. The classy vibe, great patio, and firepit plus the elevated menu and drinks, what more could you ask for in a pub? I have visited several times both for business lunches and dinner with my wife. Every time I have been impressed. The staff is 5 star and each meal has been top-notch. I have had the Lamb Dip on multiple occasions because it is just that good. I always get their seasonal veggies and am impressed with them too. Once they reopen, damn you COVID, I cannot wait to join them for brunch. If I could change anything, I would turn their draft list up to 11, it's a solid 9 but there is room to improve.

Buffalo chicken Mac n cheese is FANTASTIC! Best I've ever had? I think so, yes. Chicken fried steak is just ok. Would definitely recommend this place, though. Queso is really good too!

This is definitely a cool spot with a nice patio and view of the mountains. Not a lot in this area so you can tell there are a lot regulars at the bar. We have been a few times and the service is pretty hit or miss. We sat at the bar on a Saturday afternoon and we weren't greeted in a very timely manner. It was more of a 'what can I get you'? We were never offered food or drink menus so we ordered the beer we could see on tap. Still not offered menus... we pulled up the menu on our phones. We had to flag the bartender down to order some chips and queso. Everyone else at the bar was eating so I found it strange that we were never asked if we wanted to order food. I ordered the salmon and my husband got the bison burger. The salmon was delicious and a good sized portion. The bison burger, which was ordered medium well, was just meh. He only ate half. It was raw like it had just been seared on the outside. And pretty tasteless. We won't be ordering burgers there again. This time was not a great experience but I'm sure we'll be back. They do have a really good Beef Stroganoff that we ordered for take out. We both recommend!

Fun atmosphere- Food is good but not "I have to go back" good. Staff seems to not work together and cohesive. Your server is your server and don't expect anyone else to help you. Would go more often if the food quality went up and the team atmosphere was present.

Had lunch a month ago it was very decent. I had breakfast just the other day and that was pretty good on the weekend and the bartender lady. Serving us was excellent. Not bad at all.

Not a lot to pick from in this area so this place has a better vibe for sit down restaurant, patio is sizeable, bar was packed on a Friday night. The menu has a lot of local Colorado elements. Food was ok - nothing special. Draft list was kinda small. Nothing made me want to go back.

Wow!!! New menu! Food was super fresh and found out they locally source everything they can, pretty impressive that this neighborhood has a fully scratch kitchen and staying on top of the trends! Not to mention locally owned and operated yet still supporting more locally Owned and operated businesses! This is such a win win for the reunion area not to mention denver common as well. If you find yourself in need of some great eats before a flight to DIA or dicks sports arena I would suggest 100%!

We go here every once in a while for the atmosphere. It's a nice place with a great patio and fire spot! We have yet to have any amazing food however. The menus selection is still pretty small (I'm sure do to covid) it does cover the basics though. Chicken/beef burgers, salads and some pasta. We ordered The wings, what my husband called pigeon wings because they were so tiny! I had the roasted green chili BLT it was okay, nothing memorable. We also Ordered a tortellini and Mac n Cheese..these were served in child size cast irons ..I can't imagine a full grown man ordering this and even remotely full!! Service was great that's never been a problem at State house! Overall A great place to grab drinks and an OK place to eat.

This was my first time here and I really enjoyed everything overall. Upon entrance we were greeted by the hostess who was able to accommodate 12 people. Regardless of COVID they seated all of us today which I liked. The server was accurate with our orders and did not mess up anything. Food is pretty basic. I got the Buffalo wrap with tater tots. Too much blue cheese but other than that it wasn't out of this world. I really loved how the chairs had plugs for our chargers. Enjoyed my experience overall. If you need somewhere to go I would recommend this place.

This spot was deemed appropriate for a small, formal business lunch. We brought a small party of 4, so we came here to try their brunch menu mainly. It was quiet on a Tuesday, but that's what we wanted! Because we were one of their main parties dining in, we got warm service from our awesome hostess (I'm really saddened we forgot to catch her name). It started with a J!! We will most definitely return since we enjoyed brunch that much. I absolutely loved the Rocky Mountain Skillet, because it quenched my craving for a breakfast meal. I loved the breakfast potatoes, the shredded cheese and scrambled eggs. I loved topping it with some hot sauce because i needed some spice in my life. Jesse, my warm at heart coworker got a delicious side salad and Biscuits and Gravy. It came with a side of eggs and she thought the dish was delightful and loved the combination of the actual, reasonably sized biscuits. We were also happy to know that State House 38 had their own personalized Instagram page which was fun. We ended up following the page for some more updates.

We go here frequently and the staff are always friendly, fast, and bring out treats for our pup. We go here frequently!
