12 Last Song is an unscripted performance, but I expected some good improvisation. Nothing interesting. Just turn up a question on the screen and one of the audience circle answers. The question is mundane, so the answer is nothing. The curtain shades the stage that I can't see clearly the discussion or its function. I just feel I wasted my time. The concept is fine, but there is no effort to build it up, even the questions. I doubt about the director and curator. The good side is that the architecture and restroom are amazing 👏

This is a beautiful theatre. Whole inside of theatre looks to be constructed of wood panelling. Awesome. Seats were very comfortable with no restricted view seating. It was my first time there and didn't disappoint.

Beautiful venue! Every seat has a great view and the bar is well stocked. Love coming to shows here!

This is a lovely theatre. Great seating with few visibility or noise restrictions. Modern feel. Hosts often quite modern production with a minimalist feel. Could do with more seating outside actually theatre halls and more bathrooms.

The play we saw was excellent, but the acoustics aren't great. There was a lot of echo, which made it difficult to follow the dialogue. On the plus side, there were lots of ladies toilets, which is so unusual.

The State Theatre Centre of WA is a brilliant venue. We've seen a number of plays both at the Heath Ledger Theatre and Studio Underground, and always love coming here. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, the seating is very comfortable, the theatres are well-maintained and clean, and the acoustics are great. There are no restricted views at either of the theatres, so you're guaranteed to be able to enjoy the view wherever you are sitting. They usually open the bar about an hour before shows start, but there are plenty of nearby watering holes if you arrive too early.

Great venue for WASO performances. Recommend avoiding stall rows A-C in Heath Ledger Theatre when watching WASO performances, as you don't get a full view of the musicians. Rows E-F would be optimal.
