STATION LODGE OHAKUNE

Great group acommodation for 10 to 30 people. Friendly owner lives near the property with a prime location to walk just about anywhere in ohakune. Rooms are nice and quiet. The house is kept warm and well cleaned. Plenty kf space for you and 20 of your closest friends to sleep and hang out togwther while sight seeeing or goi g up the slopes

Station Lodge was the perfect place for my recent 40th! We were a large group with loads of kids, and the place was just excellent. Spacious, clean, tidy, with excellent facilities. The kitchen is amazing, so much space for preparing food for a big group with plenty of seating space for everyone and a great fireplace. Lounge was fantastic and large. Rooms were clean and good configurations. Spa was beautiful. Had just the best time, and the accomodation was everything we wanted! Highly recommend.

Station Lodge was the perfect place for our extended family get together. A great central location, with plenty of outdoor activities and mountain views. The lodge was clean and tidy, beds comfy, kitchen well equiped , and a large dining table that sat all 16 of us. I fully recommend it. We will definitely return.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet and it was great. Clean, tidy, spacious and exactly what we needed. There was more than enough room for everyone, we had 5 adults stay. The accommodation has a lounge, TV, bathroom, 2 bedrooms (no beds in the lounge), full kitchen (with oven) and everyone loved the private spa. From the unit we were in we could see the mountain from the kitchen window. Awesome location! Right in town, close to the Ohakune Old Coach Road, right next to the train station, supermarket etc. Private carparking space, off the road. Cannot complain. Would definitely stay here again.

A lovely place to rent for a large family group or with a bunch of friends. A very clean, well organised hostel with good facilities and all day sun. The kitchen /dining area is large with several seating areas. There is a separate lounge. Rooms adequate size, light sunny with crisp sheets. David, the owner and host is helpful and a very pleasant person. Storage for bikes and spa a bonus.

Located in a lovely place in the country side with a little town nearby and not too far from the Tongariro National Park. Probably around 3 or 4 km from the lodge. Had a comfortable stay at this location. The rooms were reasonably adequate for the price and well maintained. The rooms had heating facilities. And the toilets 🚻 and washrooms are well maintained and plenty of hot water. The kitchens are very clean and loved the dining area. Lovely mountain views🏔️ Was able to view the snow mountains from the dining area. Breakfast with the mountains 🏔️ on the far end through the window😍 it was superb👌 Ample parking facilities available and lovely garden space to spend sometime with family in the night😍 All amenities are available and we had everything we needed for our stay. Friendly staff and Recommended for family stays and backpackers. Kids have plenty of space to play and enjoy. Would definitely visit again.

another great group stay as always. awesome location, toasty hot hub and drying room for everyones ski gear. huge kitchen. plenty of parking. no shortage of hot water despite everyone having long showers. great communication by Dave the host who was also onsite to help with any issues. highly recommend as best group accomodation in Ohakune, summer and winter. will bring group back in summer to explore all the new bike trails.

Have stayed at Station Lodge many times mostly in the chalets. The accommodation is fabulous with excellent mountain views. Very clean and all necessary amenities available. Full kitchen in 2 bedroom chalets with dishwasher and proper oven as well as microwave. Own drying room and spa a real bonus. 1 bedroom units also very well appointed and luxurious too. Just a short walk to all the restaurants at the Junction. It's also very close to the mountain road so good for mountain access and if you don't take your car up the mountain the managers can provide shuttle transport for you. Being close to the station there is also the option of getting to Ohakune by train.
