Station Motel

Room 112 was spacious and well-appointed with plenty of power points, a desk and chairs, and a comfortable bed. |The TV picture was good, but it was slow to respond to the remote which was somewhat difficult to navigate. |Except for the bedside lamps, the room and bathroom lights were dull.|Overall, the room was clean although the bathroom needs a good clean to remove built up dirt in the corners of the floor and what appears to be a calcium buildup along the tiles each side of the toilet. The bathroom light switch was faulty, and although the door closed the latch did not engage to keep the door closed.|Weeds were growing between the pavers and stones in the outdoor area.|My wife, four friends and I dined in the restaurant one night. We all commented that our meals were excellent.

Lovely from the outside and a great spacious double room to fit our (big) family. Just a bit disappointed with the cleanliness and overall look of the room. Floors and cupboards/drawers were very dirty and one draw was full of crumbs and food. The bathroom drains smelled like sewage which meant the second we walked into the rooms that's all we could smell. The showers didn't stay a consistent temp and burnt the kids when they were showering. Three lights had no light bulbs and the lamp kept flickering on and off even when switched off so had to unplug from the wall. It looked really nice on the website and overall the room was presented well however just disappointed in how clean it was and the things that didn't work/were missing for the price.

The bed was not comfortable, I tried to sleep with a blanket underneath but still no good, they just need a mattress topper or something, it was also 2x single beds pushed together so I had to lay on one side or it was even more uncomfortable. but the room itself was really nice, but I could hear trucks going past at night. Unfortunately because of the beds I wouldn't stay here again but the staff were nice, room was nice and there was a nice park to walk to

Everything was clean and quite classy. |Staff were lovely and very helpful. |The location was wonderful- central to everything and the Henry Parkes centre was a short walk away. |Will probably stay there again.|The room was wonderful and the amenities were excellent.

Comfortable, spacious, clean, easy to access, helpful and friendly service. Fridge was small and not performing to its best. Loved the fact you could open a large window and have a screened and safe option to leave it open for fresh air. Food was lovely. Top spot and recommend. Caroline

Have been staying at the Station Motel almost annually since it first opened over 10 years ago. It is very comfortable but some things are due for a refresh! The curtains are very sun faded and see through in spots and definitely need replacing! The carpet is looking a bit sad too in spots too. Beds are extremely comfortable though and the meals at the restaurant were very good.

Absolyutely wonderful staff who went out of their way to ensure I had a room when I ended up stranded an extra 2 days due to a car issue. |The room was great, very clean and well maintained. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be the addition of a floor lamp as there was no ceiling lighting.|Highly recommend this motel

We loved staying at the Station Motel Parkes and thanks for having us. Reception was warm and friendly and the room was amazingly clean, crisp, modern and comfortable. The linen and bed were incredibly comfortable. The shower was large. We will come back to Parkes just to stay here. We loved it.

My family and I have stayed here a number of times. The rooms have been modern, clean and well appointed. The attached restaurant, though, is outstanding. The food is excellent.
