It's an art museum located in a beautiful park. The cafe next door is also very nice.

A very nice small-scale museum. The temporary exhibition was so beautifully designed that it was an experience in itself, in addition to the paintings hanging there. Very nice. Also nicely located on a lake. So seeing part of the museum first, then a three-kilometre tour around a lake and then the other half of the museum is a very nice way to spend the afternoon.

My experience at museum for the exhibition “The Plastic Body - Sculpture from Poland 1960-1989” was exceptional! The exhibition showcases a fascinating selection of Polish sculptures from the post-war period, highlighting the creativity of artists amidst sociopolitical upheaval. The works, created with various materials, explore deep themes related to the human condition and the body. I was particularly impressed by the innovative use of plastic, which brings to life captivating organic forms. The flow of the exhibition is smooth, and the provided explanations enrich the visit. The atmosphere of the museum is pleasant, with bright and welcoming spaces. I highly recommend visiting this exhibition, which offers an enriching and inspiring experience. Bravo to the museum for this remarkable initiative!

Such a lovely museum located right on the lake in a cozy neighborhood environment. The exhibitions were wonderful and the cafe was cozy and had an amazing interior feel.

This place is amazing! The location of this museum makes it even more special as it is located right next to mosvanet lake. Also the museum embodies the beauty of space and nature which makes the place even more special! I personally loved the ‘love story’ and other curated art works during my visit. The place is not too crowded and really special! Highest recommendations of all.

It’s a bit off the beaten track as it is located 2.3 km from the city center, but it’s worth a detour. When I visited, there’s a temporary exhibition called Flora, exploding the relationship between plants and human, not much to see, but some of the permanent installations are quite something. If the weather is good, you could get the extra benefit of taking a leisure walk by a beautiful lake where the museum is located by its shores.

An interesting museum, cafe often used by walkers from the local lake on its doorstep.

Lovely atmosphere! You can have a walk around the lake and stop by the museum for a pausa, enjoy the exhibition and some soup, snack or dessert. We got a sunny day ☀️! They have also a good selection of souvenirs/gifts 😍

Yelp
This art museum offers traditional art (paintings) in their permanent exhibition but can surprise with cool and modern stuff in the first hall. Until 25th of May you can catch "trough the woods" by Marit Victoria Wulff Andreassen. Amazing draws about sexuality. The museum is located a bit outside the town center, next to the lake Mosvannet. The location allows people who are taking a stroll around the lake to make a pitstop for a coffee or a waffle, so the café can be full even if the museum is empty. In summer they also put café tables outside!. They also have a museums shop. It is small but sells very nice things and offers a selection of cool books!
