The hand rolls are intriguing, and the Spam variation is especially delightful. Fries are enjoyable but adding $4.50 each is quite steep. While add-on sauces are available, they don’t seem worth the cost. The complimentary basic chili sauce is a solid choice and pairs well. Pairing drinks with the hand rolls elevates the experience—consider cocktails or fizzy beverages. Do not serve water. Be prepared for a long queue, especially on a Saturday afternoon, as the pop-up is highly popular and only runs until July 5, 2025. Booking in advance is strongly recommended.

After spending some time at the satay street, I stumbled upon this hidden gem. From the outside, it looks like a closed café, quiet and unassuming, but the moment you step behind the curtains, it transforms into a lively, vibrant space filled with energy and charm. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. What stood out to me the most was the design of the menu. It wasn’t just functional but also beautifully crafted, with so much thought and creativity put into it. It added a unique touch to the overall experience. This place feels like a secret spot you’d want to share with friends, somewhere special to escape the usual crowds. If you’re in the area, it’s absolutely worth a visit!

Been here at the bar once and saw that they had a cafe. Finally visited. Food was good - I enjoyed the fish tacos the most, with flakey and fresh snapper used, nicely fried and topped with a spicy, tangy slaw. The chocolate, peanut butter, bananas and bacon croissant was recommended by their staff and I love the sweet and savoury combination! They have a DJ on Sat afternoons and it’s a super interesting concept. Good for those who want to vibe and have a mid-day drink 👍🏻

Tried the crispy rice sushi burgers at the Rappu Giri pop-up they had here. The rice “buns” are crispy outside, soft inside and full of flavour. Fries were great too, especially with the curry mayo, wasabi mayo and truffle nori mayo. Don’t miss out on their cocktails and fizzy drinks, refreshing and go perfectly with the food. Service was friendly and fast too!

This was my second attempt at the Stay Gold Flamingo x Rappu special — and this time, I made it right as the offer began! Scored a great seat and plenty of attention from the friendly front-of-house team, who were super helpful in resolving my paradox of choice. I did enjoy the special, though the crispy rice was a bit too sticky for my liking. The texture was nice, but it stuck to my teeth — not the most pleasant feeling. The fries, though? Fantastic. Easily some of the best I’ve ever had, and they paired perfectly with the wasabi-infused special sauce.

Tried their cocktails. It’s a bistro concept, morning coffee and brunch. At night it’s a bar. Revolver is interesting. With a hitch of coffee and the mixture of the whiskey taste. The menu is interesting and with nice and walkable barista.

★ Rappu-giri (sushi seaweed burger pop up by RAPPU) at Stay Gold Flamingo for just 8 weeks only, on Fridays and Saturdays, 11.30 to 2.30pm, till 5th July 2025. RAPPU-giri by RAPPU is Singapore’s first sushi seaweed burger concept, featuring crispy rice buns filled with premium Japanese toppings and wrapped in seaweed. With 11 different burgers on the menu, each one looks incredibly tempting—perfect for crispy rice lovers! As part of this pop-up, Stay Gold Flamingo is also offering a selection of Japanese café-style drinks, available in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.

Though it was busy weekend lunch crowd, it was a pleasant lunch at Stay Gold Flamingo because of Jerrold, who is so attentive and explained the menu to us thoroughly. Jerrold is so kind and he even prepared an extra cookie (which is heavenly amazing!). Thank you Jerrold!
