Stay Nikko Guesthouse

On my recent trip to Japan, I stayed there and this was perhaps the best stay overall in my whole trip. I had booked a mini villa for myself and the experience was super cozy. The stay was perfect. Location also very nice, close to the station as well as the market. The villa had all the amenities you would think of. The owner was super nice and had a great time chatting with him. Highly recommended and if I visit Japan again, I will definitely be staying there.

For couples, groups of friends and solo travelers to Nikko - I can’t recommend this place enough. The host was so kind, funny and warm. The facilities were sparkling clean (with very cute cats everywhere), it was walking distance to everything. Next time I’m north of Tokyo I will definitely visit again.

Absolutely love it here! Made a last minute booking due to a change in our trip itinerary, the house was extremely clean and Ken(host) was one of the most welcoming and helpful people I’ve met here to far! He came prepared with a bus schedule, and map he hand labeled with the best places to see, and eat as well as what times they’d be open. The view is also beautiful! 11/10!

It was amazing by how the owner welcomed us, he’s Japanese but he know English very well. We stay there for 2 nights for new year celebrations, he gave us the recommendation where to visit, which road to take to be easier and safe, moree, it’s incredible service. Highly recommend. On last day, he even sent us back to Tobu-Nikko station with his car.

Stay Nikko Guesthouse was the BEST part of our time in Japan. My brother and I spent two nights here in August 2023, where we had the most incredible time. The room is efficient, clean, and in the perfect location. But the best part of staying at the guesthouse is the owner. Ken-san is the nicest man we met in all of Nippon. Not only did he give us complimentary rides to and from the train station in his own car, but he also gifted us with so many good recommendations on what sites to visit, which hiking trails are the best, and where to eat authentic Japanese cuisine. Because of this, our 3 days in Nikko were extraordinary. We will never forget our memories with Ken and look forward to visiting him and Nikko again soon!

Perfect. Stay Nikko has everything you need, is very quiet and well located. The hosts go out of their way to make you welcome and informed about the area. Having 3 bed mats stacked up makes it comfortable to sleep. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked the japanese house (2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 2 toilets & 2 shower rooms). The house is so clean & the owner is so friendly. If you are traveling with family, you should book this guest house. The owner also sent us to the station at the end of our stay. We really enjoyed our 3-night stay here.
