Staybridge Suites Colorado Springs North, an IHG Hotel

This is by far the best hotel that I have ever stayed at! I have never felt so cared for and taken care of. We were unfortunately in town for a family death, and even from two states away before check-in, Scott Duarte took us in and made us feel like his family. He made sure that we were as comfortable as could possibly be in this terrible situation. Scott checked in on us personally multiple times each day. The housekeeping staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The kitchen staff had amazing meals every day and maintained the cleanest buffet imaginable. We had to add two extra days on to our stay and it was effortless. Even though this is a pet-friendly hotel (and it is very friendly to the pets), you would never even know that there were any animals in the building, unlike most pet-friendly hotels that smell like a kennel. I cannot say enough how amazing Scott was to myself and my family for our entire stay. I now have a new standard for every hotel that I stay at in the future to try to reach. Scott went above and beyond what would EVER be expected from a hotel manager!

I had several hotels to choose from at this location. I’m so glad I made the right choice. This was a few more dollars but well worth it. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and plentiful. As ll staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed was great. Clean, comfortable, big. It was pretty quiet and the bathroom was close. The kitchen, however, was sticky and the dishes were dirty. The coffee maker was a pot type instead of a cup. A cupboard door handle was missing. One bathroom was small but clean and the other one had a great shower - also clean. The living room had a nice TV, but no end tables for drinks. A table and chairs took up a lot of the space.

How this place is only rated as a 3 star, I don’t know. My daughter and I traveled cross country with her cat and this was by far the best place we stayed. Note- not all hotels that state “pet friendly” accept cats! We found nearly 85% should state “dog friendly” because they do not accept cats. This is primarily how we ended up at this hotel, they gladly accept cats. I cannot emphasize how nice and accommodating this hotel and the staff are. The views from the west side facing the mountains are amazing. The breakfast has everything you’d expect, and more. They even have a “dinner social” on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays that was very nice. The fitness room had more than the average hotel equipment with barbells up to 50 lbs. Although one weight machine had a broken cable, it was clearly labeled. Great location, easy on and off the highway, close to main sites in the area. Complainers can nit-pick anything - hotels have hundreds of people staying with them every week. Do you really expect every hotel you stay in to be brand new and perfect for only you every time? If that’s you then buy an RV and drive your room around with you, because the world isn’t perfect and your expectations are unrealistic. We however, loved our stay at Staybridge Suites Colorado Springs, and highly recommend this hotel!

My family and I stayed here for 5 nights and it was great! The man who checked us in was a ROCKSTAR! Very friendly and accommodating. The staff were friendly and professional. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. There was a nice complimentary dinner Monday through Wednesday which was a bonus. The breakfast was great as well. The location of the hotel is right by the mountains so the views are beautiful. The river in the back is so pretty too. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Had a large 2 room suite with a view of Pike's Peak and it was beautiful! Even though the property is old, they have done a lot of upgrades that keep it looking modern. Clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff and a nice hot breakfast. Great location to all the popular sight seeing places and restaurants. Great value for the price. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great from our check in and our stay. The front dest staff ( Lynnette ) printed out a list of local restaurants for us. Rachel the day Manager help me with a booking issue that was not there fault. Very happy and will be booking again.

This place exceeded our expectations! We were on a road trip from Ontario to Arizona for our wedding, and stopped here for 2 nights as a break. We were so happy we chose this hotel! The service from staff was fantastic - friendly, great attitudes and always happy to help. The rooms are massive! We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite, which gave us all a lot of space to relax and unwind. The views of the mountains are amazing. The breakfast options are better than at standard hotels. The location is close to everything you could want, whether it's restaurants, nail salons, a hiking trail, or tourist attractions. The facilities are old but well maintained and have character. There is a pool, but it's outside, so was closed for the season when we came through. However, they let us know that we could us the pool at the neighbouring Holiday Inn if we wanted, which is a great alternative. The fitness facilities are well equipped, and although the treadmill wasn't working the first day, again, we were able to use the Holiday Inn fitness room, so that made us very happy. The treadmill was working by our last day, so clearly they stay on top of things here! There are even free laundry machines available (supplies for purchase at the front desk). There's a great walking/running trail just across the bridge as well. I can't think of any issues or complaints from our stay. We were very comfortable here and will definitely be back in the future!
