I was extremely disappointed with my stay at StayEasy Cape Town. From the moment we arrived, the room gave us issues—the lights kept malfunctioning, which made it uncomfortable and frustrating. When I raised the problem with reception, the service was unhelpful and dismissive. Staff displayed an attitude instead of resolving the issue, and every time I called for assistance, they took their own time to respond.
Despite the clear fault in the room, the reception was reluctant to move us, which felt unreasonable given the amount of money spent. Of course, I expected to be moved to a functioning room if the lights were faulty. The lack of willingness to accommodate this was unacceptable.
To make matters worse, when we checked out, the reception staff behaved unprofessionally—grilling us and even rolling their eyes. This kind of conduct is not what one expects from a hospitality establishment.
Overall, the service was pathetic, and I would definitely not recommend StayEasy Cape Town to anyone looking for a pleasant and professional hotel experience.
