What a brilliant stay! Very clean, beautiful and a really nice view. The staff are extremely friendly, the food at V&V was divine, and Phila was a very sweet waitress. One downside is that the breakfast isn't very flavourful, but there is lots of variety.

Money making racket, I checked in at 3:00 AM after attending a party and a night exploring town, paid 1700 odd for a room, only to be asked to vacate at 11:00 that same morning, because apparently they don't have a 3:00 AM check in 😳🤬. So I paid R1700 for 8 hours? The room was nice and what you would expect, although whoever decided it was a good idea to hang towels above a toilet needs to be hung drawn and quartered. There was an ambient hum so it wasn't super peaceful.

Had a brilliant stay here in a very well located hotel right in the city centre. The room was compact but adequate with a good sized bed, desk and tea/coffee making facilities. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day and the all the staff were amazing including those on reception, housekeeping and in the restaurant. Special mention to Sasha on reception who is a great asset to the hotel and was a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a good option in the city centre. There is also the added bonus of being able to use the gym at the sister hotel next door which has stunning views and excellent gym equipment.

Great hotel and location. Out rooms were modern and very clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. The location was great for walking to various sites and restaurants. The reeftop bar was the best to see Table Mountain and city. I loved the views of Bo-Kaap and Lion'sHead

The place is clean and safe and the service is quite great. I highly recommend for budget friendly, central accommodation. It’s also close to nice restaurants. They could however improve on the breakfast. I stay there on most of my work trips and I’ve stopped having breakfast there because it’s genuinely not good. Especially the scrambled eggs on buffet, I’m assuming it’s powder eggs.

The overall experience was fantastic. The friendliness of the staff, from the access control, welcome desk, housekeeping, and the catering personnel is WOW 👌. Buffet breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are great and very clean. The only complaint is that there were some visitors (4) that were so loud at breakfast time. It was very unpleasant.

I stayed at StayEasy Cape Town for 15 days and was really disappointed. In most hotels I stay at, breakfast usually includes a basic buffet along with a small kitchen or live station where guests can order things like omelets or other simple items, which I consider a standard offering. At StayEasy, the only hot option was a few fried eggs, and the rest of the breakfast lacked variety and care. There was just one type of cheese, poorly cooked oatmeal, and fruit salad that often included overripe pieces. Even simpler hotels offer something fresher and better thought out. The men’s bathroom near the breakfast area had two sinks that didn’t work the entire time and were never repaired. In my room, the shower door didn’t close properly, so water would spread all over the bathroom floor every time I took a shower. The card slot for electricity was broken, and despite reporting the issue, no one came to fix it. There are many better options in Cape Town, and I would definitely not stay at this hotel again.

Special mention to Phiwe, he was at the front desk but still helped us with our luggage due to the porters being busy. The hotel and the room were really clean, the bed was a bit too small for us. I asked for a room with a mountain view but got one with a city view. The room came with breakfast, which was okay, but there were not many options if you don’t eat beef/pork. The service at the rooftop bar was very slow. We paid for parking, R50 per day. No complimentary water in the room. I will book again, provided they pay attention to my special request.
