I stayed here for almost two weeks in September 2019. For the price, it is a good deal. It’s particularly good if you will be there less than a week because otherwise you may start to tire of the lack of variety on the breakfast buffet or tire of having your bathroom get soaked every time you take a shower (to be fair, that’s not unique to the hotel; it’s a pretty standard design in Ethiopia). If you are wanting a fancy hotel experience, then go elsewhere (and pay a lot more). But, if you are a budget-minded traveler looking for a clean hotel, this is a really good fit. I would stay again.

We booked this place ourselves after looking for a good hotel for a 23 hour layover. After landing at 9am, we were met by our transfer driver as arranged, our room was already ready, and we could just enjoy the locality. I was feeling delicate so in the end we didn't actually go out, but ate in the hotel restaurant. It was a good meal, very recommended. We had a good night's sleep and our transfer was ready first thing in the morning. Thank you!

What a small hotel with a great hospitable service. The staffs are very friendly and actively working to satisfy guests. It is really beyond my expectations. The standard room is small sized but, it was clean and attractive. We have also found a nicely prepared guest feedback writting paper. We also liked the complemetary breakfast. The price is fair. We had a nice and memorable stay. We will definately come back.

Very good price, free buffet-breakfast, restaurant open 24hres, super clean rooms, wi-fi router on each floor, free airport shuttle, quiet place as it's located 100m from the main road, few steps from the green line city train, excellent customer service, this place is more than perfect for 1 ou 10 days staying! I really feel like home. Mr Lemma the gen. mgr do everything for your stay be perfect. ||I highly recommand this hotel. ||Helene, Canada

I wish I could write a better review for this hotel given that the staff is very friendly.||I had booked two nights through Expedia. I had contacted them prior to my arrival to let them know that I would be arriving early in the morning as my flight arrived just passed midnight. It took a couple of emails for them to understand the time and day I was arriving (I assume that was a matter of timing being treated differently in Ethiopia)||They offered a free airport pickup, which I appreciated.||I was given a room on the fourth floor right below a water pump which was noisy the entire night. I asked for a change of room, but they were full ( good for them).|They accommodated a change of room for the following night.||I extended my stay for a third night which I did it in person ( not through Expedia). They would not honor the same rate as I had for the first two nights (they charged $15 more), which was a disappointment.

It was our first trip to Ethiopia. My husband and I were obviously anxious and a bit nervous about our trip but we were presently surprised how easy our stay was from beginning to end. On arrival the shuttle van was there to pick us up which was very comforting. It was a short and scenic root from the airport to the hotel. We were staying in the country for a month and had plans to visit different regions but make Addis our base. Our guide recommended other hotels on our return back to Addis but we were so impressed with the level of service at Stay Easy, we decided to make it our host hotel for the entire trip. ||||Centrally located to the bustling city of Addis, all of the major cultural and historical attractions were a taxis ride away. We even met a taxis driver through the hotel that we used for most of our trip. He also organically became our City guide. The hotel concierge even offered me his personal mobile phone to use to keep connected to the driver. ||||The food is amazing and very inexpensive. Ethiopian Cabernet wine from Rift Valley, which was a true discovery for us is. At this hotel, It’s only served by the bottle. Their buffet provides a variety of options which includes traditional Ethiopian breakfast and an omelette bar. Everything is fresh. ||||The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but they are cleaned daily. WiFi is on every floor and is not as strong but we were there on vacation and didn’t rely on the internet as much. ||||Overall, just as the title of the hotel, our stay was more than easy it was home. Every staff member treated us like a Queen and a King and a Sister and Brother. ||||It’s a great place to take a stroll and feel like a local. Lastly, with the current pandemic situation, everyone wore a mask 24.7. They also arranged for us to get a COVID test in preparation of our departure in which they provided free shuttle service. The test was around $13 US and took 24 hrs. for the results. ||||I would definitely recommend STAY EASY if you are looking for comfort, affordability, great service and a great location.

My first time staying here, I stayed for two months. I've probably stayed here over 20 times over the past 4 years. It's my second home in addis. I recommend it to all my friends. The staff are so accommodating, the location is central, and the place is super clean. I now have a home in addis, but I still stay here anytime I stay out late. Also, I swear they have the best vegan food and their kitchen is VERY clean. Their shiro is better than tsige shiro and azmera shiro. The fasting fitfit and fasting spaghetti with tomato sauce are also on point. I even order food from them when I'm not staying there. Again this is a no frills type of place..nothing fancy, but I genuinely feel like its way better than all those higher rated hotels near Edna mall. Stay here!

We used to stay at the Stay Easy a few years ago when we lived in Ethiopia. Pleased to report that it is still a good choice. Location is 100m from the tram stop at Getfam which will get you to Macanegna and Meskel Square, and is good for buses to Bole, Arat Kilo and beyond. It is also handy for the airport. ||OK, the Stay Easy is tucked up a tiny little side street but don't let that put you off. It is up the unmade road 50m just past the Axum Hotel (which all the taxi drivers know) in the direction of the Holiday Hotel. Both the Axum and Holiday have big illuminated signs so you should have no trouble, even at night. There is a bank virtually on the corner with handy ATMs.||The staff are incredibly helpful and breakfast is good. However, the rooms are small and if you are travelling with a lot of luggage you might want to consider a superior room. Another drawback is that, as with so many buildings in Ethiopia, there is no lift/elevator so you might get a bit of extra exercise ;-)
