Great hostel in a perfect central location near the train, staff were phenomenally polite and helpful and breakfast was a great plus. Some improvement to room airflow/air conditioning would be good. Was a bit of a sauna but sleep able

Short and sweet stay for us. We had a family room which was perfectly adequate to lay our heads for a night. Good location with restaurants and a nice little bar on site. Staying on a cube house is pretty cool.

I booked a “twin room” with a private bathroom, I was expecting a regular hotel room, instead I got a 7 bed hostel room. I was alone in the room, as I expected, but a 7 bed room is nothing like a twin room, I did not feel cozy, the air conditioning makes an awful sound, it was dark and creepy to be alone in such a big space. So I payed for a hotel room and basically got a hostel bed.

A very nice hostel when you want to visit Rotterdam. Perfectly located in the city center nearby many attractions. The rooms are simple but for the price totally fine. Beds were comfy and the chillout area of the hostel is nice. Very friendly staff.

Very clean and nice accommodation! The staff was lovely and accommodating. We had the Jungle room and loved it! Great place to stay if you want to enjoy the Rotterdam night life 🪩👯‍♀️

No locks in rooms, you have to pay otherwise. No refrigerator for guests. Very bad service and basic rooms and beds for the price. No wifi connection in the room which is bad especially with a bad signal. The cubes looks nice and the location great but you wouldn't stay in this location for the looks. Would be a bad choice for a claustrophobic, and the room noise is torturing.

Really lovely hostel! Everything there is amazing. Obviously due to the location and the fact you are staying in the Cube houses, it is slightly pricier than other hostels in Rotterdam but definitely worth it! Our room's window shows to within the Cube's canopy so there is no natural light, but other than that there are no complaints! I would stay here again.

I had to leave after 1 night of my 3 night stay. I expected it to be pretty basic - and it was - as it is pretty cheap, but the temperature was unbearable. There was only one window and it could only open a tiny amount. The Aircon unit was just a noisy fan and provided almost no comfort. Because of this I slept for 3 hours and wasted the next day because I was so tired. I had to check in to another hotel which cost me another €100. I would recommend staying anywhere else.

Need a restroom break at the end of your Rotterdam Free Walking Tour? The Stayokay Hostel Rotterdam is open and available on the top floor of the Cube Houses....clean and no charge. Interesting to follow the funny signs that lead up the stairs to the toilets. Thanks to Stayokay Hostel and to our tour guide, Nidas, for this very useful trip especially on Sunday when many places were closed.
